I absolutely love Danielle’s hair, it’s beautiful with that outfit!
Your body releases more stomach acid at night because you go into an autonomic state nicknamed ‘rest and digest’ where your body focuses more on the autonomic nervous system. Makes total sense that you’d have worse symptoms at night.
Omg, your nurse hair is pretty!
Hope you get a better treatment to help with the nighttime upset. I had a wonderful Saturday we had a skate party for my Grand daughter. This 58 year old granny got on roller skates for the first time in 40 years and had so much fun. No falls.
That sounds like a lot of fun!
I am praying med marijuana works for you, and I don’t pray, but for you, if I could move heaven and earth to make you feel better, I would. It has no harmful side effects. If your going to need something, it’s a safer option than those pharmaceuticals that are so readily accessible. It’s such a slow process to get a safer option. Thank you for raising awareness. I’m sure it’s not easy to film and edit when you feel like crap and are tired. 🙏🏻❤️Also thank you for the distraction. My son has been deployed for possibly a year. You made me smile, when I feel so sad
I went to my cousin Lexie’s wedding day shower party on August 24,2024.
Oh my I love Danielle’s hair!
I love watching your channel!!!!! I love learning too. And this weekend I walked a few dogs, from the Wag! app. And I also caught up on your videos :)) hope you start feeling better!!!
I moved house this weekend! It was a big move and I have had to get a lot of new things, big and small, like a fridge and washer. Moving has made me super anxious but watching your video has been such a nice break from it all.
my gp is worse in morning. If i am going to eat, lunch time is when I can. Mornings and nights are a no go on food. I completely understand the nausea. If anyone has not had to deal with nausea 24/7 do not understand how debilitating it is. I had a gasrectomy due to cyclic vomiting with my gp. I was being hospitalized every few months. I hope you get relief.
Hey, I just noticed something and didnt know if you knew it. When pushing in syringes, its a good idea to avoid touching the sides of the punger/stick, especially when drawing back meds, because that eventually goes in the syringe, and is an opportunity for infection. I know you always practice good hygiene, and have probably heard this but because its a port/central line and you use it a lot :) good luck with the mmj
Go go Jaquie!
My GI said maybe the reason why my GI symptoms get worse at night and morning is because your body releases hormones more during those times and it could be that when our body releases them we just have an adverse reaction.
That is really interesting!
This weekend I worked a lot mostly, but today I'm going to do some baking with my cousin 😁 and then I'll be getting prepared to do my first gastric emptying scan on Wednesday so I can hopefully get some answers on whether I have gp or cyclic vomiting syndrome 🙏
I love watching you work with Harlow! I am getting a service dog in a month (well, a puppy I will train to be my service dog), and I have gotten a lot of ideas from you. I love how you use hand signals, and practicing the similar-sounding words is a great idea!
Best wishes to you (:
I did my laundry over this weekend
Thank you so much for sharing your life so openly. I felt your frustration and anticipation so much more in this vid and really empathize with you. I keep you in my prayers darlin. My SD's send hugs to Harlow!!🐶🐾🐶🐾💕💕💕
I’m so relieved you felt better quickly with this new IV med. You deserve it. Hurry up MJ! Your strength, perseverance, and “keep moving forward” attitude are inspiring. Blessings to you 💗👚💕🌸 and to everyone who helps, supports, and loves you!
I love Harlow's enthusiasm :)
I had a choir competition this weekend :)
This might amuse you...I went in to Beall's last week while visiting at my dad's. I was looking for those "flowy" style shorts. Only I couldn't remember what you called them, I asked the sales person if they had any floppy shorts! She gave me such a look! 😆
Really hope this medication works out for you! I could not survive my bouts of nausea from my medical treatments and/or my dysautonomia without my acupuncturist!
You should look into essential oils!!
This was my first weekend on new medicine and it's made such a big difference. My energy is back my appetite is slowly coming back and I'm finally happy with the direction my health is going. I've even been able to go out and shop a bit and have lunch with a few friends I haven't seen in awhile. It's been an awesome weekend.
That is amazing! Gives me hope for improvements in my situation (: I hope things continue to go well!
Chronically Jaquie me to! I hope things continue to look up for you and I can't wait to watch your vlogs everyday and see your posts on Instagram.
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
Kytril has been such a life saver for me! I too am allergic to Phenergan and Reglan. I was going to comment to tell you about Kytril, so I’m glad you’re trying it! Thinking about you girl
Do you know how to pronounce the brand name? Lol I do not! :P
Chronically Jaquie haha the only reason I know how to pronounce it is because my uncle is a Pharmacist at Mayo Clinic and he’s the one who told me about it lol. It’s pronounced ky (rhymes with by) - tril (rhymes with pill) sorry that’s such a stupid way to describe how to pronounce it lol. The brain fog from meds and no sleep are making me delirious haha. Have you used it as a rescue med yet? Just wondering if it has helped you when you’re throwing up at all. I’ve been keeping you in my thoughts and prayers
They tried it once IV after my surgery but it made me cry uncontrollably so we decided it was not a good fit for me lol.
Chronically Jaquie oh gosh! That sounds awful lol. You poor thing. Yeah, probably a good idea to not use it. No one wants to cry uncontrollably! I’m praying that you are approved soon for mmj, and that it helps you! I know so many people who use it for nausea and vomiting, and it helps them so much. You are such an inspiration to me Jaquie!
Jaquie's brows are everything w/ no effort. I catch myself staring at them all. the. time.
I love youre channel I hope you start to feel better soon
Still can't get over jenise saying your banana bag was a pee bag I loved it
Acid/alkaline I use only alkaline water now and It has helped so much
This weekend i went to my local animal shelter and took a dog for a walk. His name is Rudi and he is awesome. I wish I had enough money to take him home with me.
I’ve tried so hard to acquire home health care like this.
Been in the hospital since Monday my gastroperis has been really bad this week.
For me, gastritis-caused nausea is horrible. And what’s even worse is, Zofran doesn’t work for me, so I need promethazine, which makes me sleepy. (I also have IBD, so I have gastritis a lot)
I spent the day with my bf for our 2.5 year anniversary. Thankful I was able to since my health hasn't been the best lately. I'm happy this medication is helping you!
Working and trying to keep my mind off my stomach difficulties. Hope things get better for you. I know first hand the different kind of life us with chronic illness have. Glad to be alive and still able to enjoy life!
Have you tried Marinol for nausea and vomiting.... It’s synthetic THC basically it works pretty well
Jaquie you have such a great attitude and outlook! Thank you for sharing your journey!
Some people I know who have tried medical marijuana say it helped with body pain too - I hope that's the case for you xx 💙👊
Just finished pushing my meds. Laying on the couch now. I don’t have as much going on with me as you do. I’m still amazed at how strong emotionally you are.
It was my birthday on the 7th! So that was my weekend! Unfortunately EDS doesn't recognize my bday and my back was giving me tons of issues but... we still had a great day!!!
Happy birthday! Yeah sadly chronic illness doesn't take holidays but I am so thrilled you still had a great time!
Chronically Jaquie Thank you so much!! Honestly your channel fills me with hope and happiness for my future every single day!! :)
Pink is such a happy color! 😊💕 I have mild GP and overall poor GI motility, and my symptoms tend to flare up much worse at night too 😥
As far as chronic illness is concerned, I have both chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia on top of other medical conditions that are unrelated as far as I know. When you mentioned your symptoms getting worse at night, I have a theory. In a case of a viral illness like a cold or flu I have known people including myself where their symptoms get worse at night? Something similar here maybe?
I'm so glad that this IV med is working out for you so far! I hope that your card for the MJ comes in as soon as possible. It always amazes me how you always stay so positive in times of hardship. Thank you for your positivity!
This weekend I've been trying to get in contact with my local lab to get blood drawn to check my TSH levels, but I feel like I'm getting the run-around. I had to call 3 different places to just find out what their hours were. I still don't know if they have my paperwork that was supposed to be faxed. But hopefully everything will be sorted Monday.
I've spent the last few days hiding out in the house from all the pollen near Raleigh. It's terrible, yellow dust everywhere. You inspired me to cook yesterday! (I'm not Chrinically ill but do struggle with several issues and some family members issues and sometimes I get really discouraged and depressed but you inspire me to keep moving forward!)
Have you tried Emend? Generic name: Aprepitant. I get it following endoscopies. It solves my chronic nausea for anywhere between 24-48 hours after I take it. It's hard to get insurance to cover it but has been the best anti-nausea med for me so far.
This weekend I helped a mare deliver her foal! And me and my service dog in training I’m raising went to a baseball game for some exposure! Keep moving forward, Jaquie!! ❤️
Also, I have IBS flares and they are ALWAYS in the mornings when I wake up. I agree with you, it’s different for everyone! I hope that you continue to have more and more relief from your nausea.
I'm happy for this new medication. Glad it's helping for the nausea.
If you're not sleeping in a reclined position, you might want to try it. Good luck with your symptoms!
I really really REALLY hope the new medication helps you out a lot!!
My GI/MCAS doctor has me on Cyproheptadine or periactin. It has helped so much. I have to use zofran here and there, but it has worked wonders. If your not already on it, I would ask about it :)
Hey jaquie my symptoms at night get worse too
I love watching your videos I’ve been struggling with stomach issues for years and this last year has been the worst. I love food more than anything and I can’t for the life of me keep it down at night and it comes up every morning with the worst severe stomach pains
How is the spot where your tube was? Is it healing ok?
The outside looks great! But there is a hard lump beneath it... And it hurts at times. But my surgeon is not too concerned.
I've been curious too
Does anyone remember which video they gave Harlow frozen yogurt?
My gp is worse at night . I only eat lunch and dinner because the food will build up and make me sick . The medical mj helps greatly
Sorry your so sick I hope things get better love you Jacquie
Have you ever tried taking a teaspoon of baking soda in a cup of water just before you go to bed, to help neutralize the stomach acid that you're no longer able to vent?
I love your nurse. She’s such a happy sweet person :) especially seeing how much Janeice is struggling with her nurse it makes you realise how a good nurse goes such a long way in good healthcare! I also love her pink hair! 😬 I watched “A Quiet Place” and it was awesome! I loved it. You should watch!
We want to see it! And yes my nurse and I were talking about how a good nurse is so important!
Chronically Jaquie oh do watch. Was so good. And was scary but in a Stranger Things kinda way? I can’t do horror but I survived this!
So glad you’ve got a good nurse :)
Love you Jaquie❤️❤️ you inspire me so much ! Stay strong 💪🏽💪🏽
Have you ever tried Haldol for N/V? It’s used quite commonly here now!
Just curious...have you ever seen a mitochondrial disease specialist? They may be able to help as some of your symptoms are from your mito!
I am recovering from the removal of a basketball-sized ovarian cyst. I have staples from my bellybutton to my pubic bone. In tons of pain. Your videos are very empowering!
i recently started vlogging and i'm loving it i hope the mj works for you. it's a hit or miss for my nausea but is great for my ic pain !
That was one of my questions regarding my son. Knowing that now helps me understand more. That makes a lot of sence he has GERD as well. Thankyou! Its hard enough understanding a 3 year old but add in a chronic illness and things get super complicated.
I hope the new IV anti nausea meds work!
Have you tried Emestrol? I use the liquid form for nasuea it's used in hospitals around here
My family got a puppy this weekend.
How exciting! :D
So did my sister in law he's adorable!
Jaquie: "Olay"
Harlow: "seriously???"
😂
I wonder if eating rice to help absorb the acid would help. I added some rice to my chili to day and it helped with the acid in my stomach. we're all different though.
Ask your Dr. About ginger root or ginger root capsules for nausea and vomiting. I dont know if you will be able to tolerate it. I use it to help calm my stomach. I use it as a tea. Goodluck!
I have already tried it
Well, Since I go to the gym all week (5 days) i'm supposed to rest and relax. Yesterday that didn't happen I had a random BUNDLE of energy.... did laundry AND was able to go out to eat! However, that crash was real..... Today I am relaxing. I wish Janiece could have Danielle as a nurse. ;( I hope this new med helps you to enjoy the trip more! Are you nervous about sitting on a plane? ( I am not, not entirely sure how i'm going to when the time comes, fly to England)
I don't get nervous on planes, I just don't like traveling. The trip if fun but getting from point A to point B is exhausting. Someone needs to invent teleportation lol
I'm glad you don't get nervous, it's awful. yes, it is exhausting but wonderful people understand. :) Yeah, I don't understand how it can be in shows and movies but noones figured that one out yet. lol
Bed rest this weekend as MEcfs payback hits after a trip to the post office on Thursday - so thank you for providing a little bit of company 😊
You are such a strong warrior. I hope this med works for you. I'll cross my fingers for you.
I suffer really bad with acid reflux and it's worse at night and it's the same with my chronic pancreatitis is worse at night even with all the medicine I take. I have have sleep propped up which is horrible I hate it.
Look like you are feeling better. 😃 Hope your new med helps. We spent the weekend at my daughter’s Rodeo finals. Central Texas Rodeo Association.
What about doing a granisetron patch along with 4 mg of zofran. Works for me. I also have abh capsules when needed. Its compounded and has 1 ativan, 25 Benadryl and 1 mg of haldol.
Good sharing. Have they actually test the ph in your stomach? If so what test did they use? Also when you are puking are you more dehydrated or the same? To they test that? Your sharings helps others. Thanks. Blessings.
Binge watching The Raw Life!!
Wow! so great you got to eat a little bit. I have been taking things easy and resting this weekend with my pup.
Knowing that plasma donations are needed for IVIG inspired me to try donating blood. The blood drive only let you give whole blood, and I got dehydrated and symptomatic from it, so I’m not doing it again, but I recommend trying it, I didn’t think I would qualify and I did. I’m still going to try plasma donation since you get iv fluids at the end.
Working at my old high schools musical "Oklahoma"
Are you going to the Shorty Awards? It wouldn't surprise me one little bit! Jaquie, you are such an AMAZING INSPIRATION to me and so many others! God bless you and your family! LOVE and PRAYERS from Gainesville Florida.
I was blessed with some extra energy yesterday so we ran errands and cleaned our apartment. Feeling it today but it was totally worth it 👍🏻 gotta run with the energy when it hits
I've been taking it easy. My bothers daughter turned 1 last week so they had a party yesterday. It took alot out of me. But was worth it. Went to church this morning and now going to relax at home. Can't wait to see where you guys are going! Could it be worse at night because your laying down? Continued prayers!
The DMV is enough to make anyone vomit. Harlow is so cute at mealtime.
I have EDS and a few other conditions which lead to me throwing up most nights. I have found that by using Emises Bags, I am able to at least avoid a night on the bathroom floor. They aren’t the perfect solution, but they do really work!

For the most part, I took Saturday off social media (except for Patreon stuff), did some drawings and played Guitar Hero lol. Right now I’m exhausted so just watching Netflix and napping lol. Sorry to hear you didn’t have a good reaction with the medication but I’m glad you have another option! I’m praying it works for you! 💖 I’m also glad to hear it helped with your nausea. I’m still trying to find something that helps with mine, but medications here are called different names than in the US, so when I suggested something or asked if it would help, my doctor was so confused 😂
Have you tried Emend for nausea? Or Ativan? Or Benadryl?
Great to see her barking command is coming along so well!
Jaq if you can only eat plain saltines why do you have chocolate all over your mouth?? (starts around 6:40)
How long does danelle have to stay with you after you try the new medication? Is she only there for when you administer it or does she wait around a period to see if anything develops?
I've been playing The Sims all weekend. Also WHY DID UA-cam NOTIFY ME 5 HOURS LATE... UA-cam GET IT TOGETHER. ok I'm done...
I think it is because we usually start out with our head raised up, and later down. Mine is worse at night, especially bloating and nausea. But like you, nausea and vomiting can happen at anytime anywhere. I have been on IV hydration therapy to keep me hydrated, if I am not nausea is worse and I am in the hospital. But I also have the ileostomy.
If you’re looking for pot , try s hybrid . I use one called rise and shine
We went to thrift stores yesterday. My brother loves old stuff so we spent the day driving around to different places. My aunt is bringing her dog over because uncle is getting some testing on his heart in Cleveland. He’s going to have surgery on May 4th.They’ll be there for a couple days and they want testing done. He’s going to need to have some valves replaced. My cousin his son had this surgery a year ago. He’s always had heart problems and was in stage four congestive heart failure. The only thing that would help was to replace his valves. My uncle has the same problem as my cousin but it’s not as bad.
I had such a fun weekend!! I went to a convention (anime convention) and took my service dog in training with me. I was pretty nerveus at first but it went so great!! I got to see all of my friends and did great training. I am so proud of my boy and he is learning so quickly!!!
Since you reacted to CBD (it made my pots worse too) are you worried of reacting to the MJ because it's a plant? Good luck though!
I seriously thought I was the only one who had worsening POTS issues on CBD, I feel strangely better you had the same (not that I am happy you had problems lol). It is kind of a risk but one worth taking, in my opinion. So many potential benefits!
Chronically Jaquie when I tried my medical marijuana, it was thc tincture and supposed to help my pain and sleep. It does say it can lower bp, which I could feel cuz when I stood up I felt much dizzier than usual but if you expect it it should be fine!
Hey! What happened to Harlow’s insta?
I hope this new nausea med will hold you over until you are cleared for medical marijuana. I am glad you are in a state with this option and hope you will be able to work with a knowledgeable person who can help you find the best product for you. We are all different in what meds we tolerate and which work for us. For example, when my chemo nausea was at its worst I was prescribed Zofran and Ativan (usually prescribed for anxiety) with greater resolution of symptoms than Zofran alone, but otherwise Zofran alone works for me. However, if given Phenergan I become both very sleepy and so anxious I cannot stay still and the slightly less nausea is not worth it.
