    Don’t feel like you have to have comment for us. Those of us who love you and your family are completely okay with it. Chronic Illnesses are hard and exhausting, and it’s perfectly okay to not have to deal with comments on days you don’t feel good. Always focus on yourself first ❤️.

    Hi Jaquie there’s an option in UA-cam creator studio where you can “hold comments for review” that contain certain words that you choose you don’t want to see on your channel! So they won’t be posted unless you physically go in and click them if they contain those words. Just another tool!

    Oh Jaquie your too sweet to have to deal with the horrible things those ignorant people feed into hatred for their fifteen minutes of fame ... You really do not owe us an explanation this is your life you have decided to bring chronic illnesses to awareness I have learned so much from you! I'm old enough to be you and Judds mother but I have grown to be found of you both...I have a chronic illness also. I also love when you janise are together the friendship you guys have is special thank you Jaquie for all you do!

      tami77090 I've read some of those posts about Jacquie and Janice, and it pisses me off. I love how people think you guys and other chronic warriors are faking things. Just don't listen to them.

    • @chasetonga
      @chasetonga 6 років тому +2

      Molly Fanton How could anyone say they fake it? No Dr. would give her a port and feeding tube if she were faking it. Not to mention you can look at her coloring and her other body language and know it's real.

    • @highhopes151
      @highhopes151 6 років тому +2

      Molly Fanton well said. Plus how do these haters know how much chronic pain takes from you, and how do they know what it really feels like to have chronic pain or any chronic illness I would love to know how they can feel how much pain we are in or how our body feels like when they can't feel what we have to go through every day! I have chronic pain and other health issues so I totally understand when someone is in pain but you can't really feel how it really feels like to someone else? So how can these haters know exactly how and what you feel cause as far as I am aware that there is no device out there to actually know how someone is feeling. Sorry these haters have got that bad and I hope that Jaquie talked to judd to see if the police can help find and deal with these haters.

    I appreciate the fact that you decided to not take the comments that think differently as being constructive rather than being personally against you. I think having other people moderating the comments is a great idea and can help you not get comments that are negative like that. No one should ever feel threatened.
    Thanks for listening and finding an alternate solution

    I am so glad you DID let us know about that comment. I am a firm believer in respecting people's spaces on the internets; example, I try not to use my vast and varied vocabulary of profanity on your UA-cam videos, Jaquie.
    While I totally respected your decision, it did make me a little sad. Now that I know more about what put you in that position, I am furious that you had to go through that.
    I am glad you have decided to try a compromise with moderators; you do not need more on your plate.
    Moderators: I welcome and proactively respect your positions and authority!!! (In the past, I have been a mod in several different venues; bereavement chat rooms, message boards, LJ fandom communities, so I know it takes time, commitment and SPOONS. Thank you all in advance for your time.)
    Jaquie and Janeice, it's always great to see you together!!! And I think I speak for everyone that watching Judd and Paul's bromance is always a great highlight in ya'll's vlogs!!!
    I hope you both continue to heal, and feel well enough to celebrate Jaquie's belated birthday!!!

    Watching your channel has given me the courage to actively seek out medical problems I've been having for five years. I was so scared that drs would say I was taking and that I couldn't have that much wrong or be in that much pain. I finally have started seeing Drs and have been diagnosed so far with Chiari malformation, neuropathy, and found bulging discs in my back. I'm going to see a rheumatologist to find out more and get the help I need! You are amazing!

    Jaquie you inspire me and happy belated birthday. I've fallen behind on watching yours and Janeice's vlogs recently. I'm having health issues too in the past few weeks. I'll be praying for you both as I'm dealing with my own issues. I keep telling myself daily, "One day at a time, one step at a time and one corner at a time!" Helps to remind me that I need to slow down and listen to my body. If I ever get to Florida it would be fun to meet you both since watching your vlogs has helped me to be more productive in advocating for myself and getting my family on board with it all. Keep icnoring the trolls of hate as they do it just to make their selves fill better.

    I am so sorry that you had that happen to you and I totally understand why you needed the time to deal with it. But please just remember that you know what you are going through and how your body works. Like you have said before that you only show 10 to 15 minutes of your day how can people really understand what you and your body feel like. I feel so sorry for you that you had to go through that nasty comment. I totally understand and I think that it's a good thing to get help with dealing with the nasty comments so you can deal with your health and the positive comments. Plus when you have chronic illness then sometimes you need to focus on your health. Totally understand and agree with what you are doing for the comments now. I am happy to see you with Janiece and recovering together that’s what you both need right now...Jac you are so on the ball with everything and so organized I am very surprised you forgot some of your meds but like you said you weren’t feeling well and that could throw everything off...when you mentioned yesterday about disabling your comments it upset me because I LOVE connecting with you some way and to also know you are ok...I didn’t see the comment in question but I had a feeling someone commented something negative and that’s where you were coming from to say that....I seriously can not believe that happened...I have never met you but I feel like you and Janiece are my friends and how could ANYONE say anything negative let alone threatening because both of you are truly the sweetest (actually 4 of you including Judd and Paul) and hope to meet both of you one day...like you said you will just have to monitor your comments because all you need right now is positivity...I hope you reported and blocked them on here...as well as if they are on your other social media sites you do...stay safe...sending lots of thoughts...love...hugs and prayers from a still very cold New York❤️💋

    Jaquie, I dont know if you know this "trick" but its called positive pressure flushing, where you actively flush your port and as you flush you clamp the line. By flushing while you clamp it reduces the chance of you developing a fibrin sheath that may reduce your ability to draw blood from your port.

    Also, as friendly advice to you or anyone in a similar situation... I had 5 years of MRSA ‘breakouts’; the boils that needed lancing continued to come up under my arms, on my face, on my neck- right over my spine. Finally, one came just in between my eye and temple. My doctors are caring and knowledgeable about my many chronic illnesses, but (as I am sure you know) things can fall through the cracks. When the last boil came up, the dr. who saw me was very concerned. So, he ordered a blood test. We found out my MRSA had become systemic. In other words, it was now in my blood, and very dangerous to me AND anyone around me. I needed to be put on Vancomycin (turns out I was allergic to it, but needed it, so I was also on round the clock benedryl and hospitalized the entire time as it was administered via IV). This finally kicked the chronic outbreaks. I just thought this would be helpful information. I wish someone had suggested this to me as I had to withstand dozens of procedures that hurt (I am also someone that local things like Lidocaine does not work on, so I feel everything). Obviously this is something anyone should discuss with their physician about. Hope all goes well, and this info is helpful to someone. Keep going strong. Thank you.

    People can be so cruel, I wouldn’t be able to even handle the not so bad comments, I just watched you video of when Judd came home after 11 months felt like crying but to hear that someone was that mean to you made me cry ... I’m an older person and I can not believe or get over how mean people can be. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

    First of all, I am so sorry you get any negative comments. I can’t even understand that desire to be that way. Also, to be hurtful or threatening is uncalled for. I hope your moderators are able to help with that. I am in so much pain I don’t even know how you are able to keep up with reading everything. May you continue on your amazing journey, and thank you for sharing what you do with all of us.

    I did the same thing a couple of weeks back, made the long and for me difficult trip back up home to my Mums house by train as it’s too far for me to safely drive alone for a family funeral. I got there and realised I had failed to pick up a new blister pack of one of my most vital medications. It wasn’t possible to go back and get them, just too far so I had to spend the first day of my five days away (a day that was meant to be a rest day) going all over by taxi in a blizzard trying to sort out 3 days worth of my med to get me through to when I got home, it’s just had to be my control drug that requires a doctor to physically sign but on the bright side it ended up being my old family doctors who came through for me and they have all my old medical records from before I moved far away 12 years ago so they could see I wasn’t drug speaking and I do need the med and I got a reminder of why I loved that GP practice and was so sad to leave them. Take care and lots of warm wishes from England x

    Oh, that's so nice of you Jacquie to appoint moderators to try and help compromise. Of course negativity is expected, but that doesn't make it any less horrible. Something like that is really affecting. Hopefully this plan works out better!

    Jaquie, I am so sorry some ASS had the nerve to send such a hateful comment to you. You deserve so much better. Don't think about it if that is possible, remember you have a lot of love and respect from those of us that count. Take care, and love to all. wtg Judd for getting her forgotten meds. The love shows.

    I am SO sorry there are trolls that feel the need to make our lives even harder than they already are😔 I also just noticed in this vlog, just how much smaller Janiece is😲 It will be much better when they figure out what's going on with her and get things moving in the right direction. I KNOW how frustrating it is to not be able to eat out of fear of pain and other issues, or not have doctors really understand. Sending zebra love 💚💗

    One time, one of my doctors increased the dose of one of my medications after I packed for a big cross-country trip. A few days after I got there, as I was restocking my pill container, I realized that I had put enough pills in my pill container, but not in my reserve. It was a medication I absolutely had to have, so I freaked out, not sure what to do. Then, I took some deep breaths, and I remembered that my doctor used paper scripts, so, I checked my wallet to see I had one for that medication. Thankfully, I did, and I was able to fill it at a local pharmacy the next day. Now, I always count take my whole supply with me, making sure I have what I need plus extra, just in case I drop some.

    I am sorry that they were mean to you. I love you and Judd for being nice and funny. I know as a chronic illness warrior myself that it can make you feel guilty when you forget an important medication and have your husband have to go get it, trust me it has happened to me a ton. But with so many medications to remember to bring sometimes it can be tricky. I hope you have a great time celebrating your birthday!!!

    So just thinking out loud. Wonder what Paul calls his recipe. My maternal grandmother who’s from Oaxaca does exactly what he did with round steak and it’s called bistec de milanesa.

    Wow, I'm sorry you had to experience that ugliness in the past comments. I'm glad you have moderators, it'll help you plus it also gives more witnesses to any future ugliness that may occur. Always a good thing if you need to call the police. It does my heart good to see you and Janiece back together again, I love to watch you two interact with each other and to watch the bro mance between Judd and Paul too, lol. Hugs to all.
