Hi Jaquie, I just wanted to thank you for something: I’ve never had any kind of major allergic reaction before, just seasonal allergies that I take daily 12hr allergy meds for (itchy eyes, runny nose mostly), but I just did about an hour ago. Started off just coughing but it didn’t take long to progress to swelling, wheezing, and difficulty breathing, so after the initial “it’ll go away” and “why is this happening” I started to panic and really have trouble breathing, and I didn’t know what to do... but I remembered that you can usually abort your anaphylaxis with IV Benadryl, so I found some, took one, and within 15 minutes I was able to breathe normally again. If it weren’t for your videos I probably would have just hoped for it to go away and who knows what might have happened, so thank you! I hope you’re enjoying your trip 💕

I live in Oklahoma and Oklahoma and Texas are going through a weird cold snap on the weekends. But if you guys would have come during the week it would have been 80 degrees. LOL it's been a really odd spring and we had a very mild winter here.
I always plan nothing for the first day after an airplane trip, so I can spend it in bed and then if I can do sightseeing it’s like a bonus! I’ve also never gotten an accessible room when I asked for one, but I’m glad you got upgraded for it!
I didn't see if you were hooked up or not, but I have a great tip for feeding tubes and dresses! I use my sewing machine to make a button hole close to the seam on which ever side I want the tube to come out. If the thread matches the fabric well no one but you will notice the hole when you are not hooked up.

Several, actually, but they are "invisible" and a couple of them (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) are doubted to be real. I just wanted to say a big "thank you" for working so hard on your videos. I have found some validation in watching them because I can see the difference in your face, voice and countenance between when you feel good and when you don't. I thought I was the only one that did that. Not sure why I thought that, but I did. Thank you so much!
When you're young, even though you have a chronic illness, there is still a strong desire to keep up. That said, with time and experience, many find it hard to keep up. Once experience exceeds your desire to keep up, it may happen, that you're decision making process, regarding travel, will diminish. Not to say life has to slow down, or that you can't continue your travels in the car/ plane, but consider, your health first! I know you want to do it for everyone else, and for yourself, but just consider, that you may need to put your health first!
I can totally relate about the conflict we all have with chronic illness where we tell ourselves to listen to our bodies and at the same time don’t let out health hold us back.
I have pots and I am 13 years old so you inspired me to get my service dog that will soon be in training and I absolutely love her! She was one of the dogs from Puerto Rico that was abandoned during hurricane Irma. THANK YOU SO MUCH
I think the relatively lower pressure when flying can trigger a POTS flare. Before I was diagnosed I only knew that flying aggravated my nausea and dizziness but didn't know why, but now that I know more what's going on with my body I notice that every time I fly I have tachycardia and heart palpitations the entire time. Good job on surviving your flight, even if it was hard :)
I struggle when to push myself and when I need to just listen to my body. It is difficult, but you know your body better than anybody else. Have a fun trip, enjoy the wedding, and I hope you get to visit the aquarium.
I’m from Dallas Texas, and trust me this weather is out of the norm. Texans are dumbfounded by this weather. Some days it’s cold some days it’s hot. It’s been CRAZY! Our spring is usually cut short by summer, but this year it being cut short by winter.
The preasure of the cabin in the airplane at cruize altitude is equal to the pressure at 10000 feet. The minimum pressure so you're able to breath which means that there is a lack of pressure compared to the earth' surface pressure. So less oxygen. Ig its normal that you were dizzy 😕

I used to not wear makeup a lot because it made my face itchy. I think there is something in most makeups that I am sensitive to (not allergic). I have found that Physician's Formula doesn't make my face itchy. I like the InstaReady line is nice. I wear tinted BB Cream, Powder, mascara, sometimes eye shadow and some sort of lip gloss. You all looked wonderful!

How crazy! I'm in Dallas from Missouri this weekend. My dad, who I am staying with, lives just a few blocks from the longhorn statue! They went to the wrong barbecue. Pecan Lodge is where its at! Thats what I had today.
Jaquie ~ Beautiful photos of all of you ! Sorry that traveling is hard on you. I'm chronically ill, and traveling is very hard on me too. I live in Iowa. Used to live in Florida. It's 31 degrees and snow showers all day. It was snowing last night as well. If this is what spring looks like...it's terrible. Its too cold for me. Makes me have more pain in all my joints. I can barely walk because it hurts so bad. I take pain medicine every day. I miss Florida. I wish I could live there again, but it's expensive. I can't afford to move there, and live there. My sons don't fully understand about me being chronically ill. No matter what I've told them about my health problems...they don't get it. My younger son likes to joke around sometimes. He makes fun of me being in pain. I tell him...just wait till you get older, and have different health issues. Then you might know how I feel. Sometimes it makes me sad the way my family is. My older son doesn't invite me over to his place to visit him. He's usually too busy with his kids who are autistic, and with his job, and his friends. My sons are grown up now. :o\
I so know what you mean about travel. Between security measures being incompatible with my medical needs and how sick I got the last time I flew, air travel just isn’t worth it. I had a migraine the last time I flew (California to Maine) for the whole flight and a week after. Driving is easier but still hard. There’s something about the up and down and pressure of flying that’s really bad. Somehow a 3 day drive (Maine to Florida) is so much easier on me than flying. I kinda wonder why you didn’t drive to Dallas....I imagine it’d be doable in a 1 or 2 day drive. Then again, I drive an hour to get groceries and 1-3 hours for doctors...so I don’t think twice about driving distances. It’s also the perfect excuse for listening to audiobooks. I so understand what you mean about pushing yourself. I’m having bad dehydration stomach cramps, and we were going to see a movie later. Between how I feel and ice/snow/freezing rain it’s not happening today.
The altitude change and barometric pressure really screws with joints/dysautonomia. That’s the cause of all your woes. I deal with it even just going to the major city from my cute little mountain town.

I never would’ve guessed Texas. I hope you’re able to enjoy some of the sights. And while I understand the whole make-up thing, I can’t remember the last time I wore any, although it was for a wedding and I ended up taking most of it off before leaving the house, you should wear it more often. You have a natural beauty, you and Janiece, both, but what little makeup you wore in the the blog really accentuated it.
I just recently traveled to Texas an highly suggest trying straight off the roadBBQ it’s delicious and you get HUGGE portions !!! And for attractions I would go to the Huston zoo. it’s so fun! Enjoy and have fun. Just remember don’t push yourself to hard because Texas will always be there and you and your Heath is so much more important. I love your videos keep up your positive attitudes 🙂
Yes, you should go to the Dallas aquarium. I went to Dallas aquarium last year and loved it! but I bet Florida has way better aquariums since you guys live by the ocean 🌊
Down where I live in Texas it’s 90 with 100% humidity in the summer fairly often. Texans usually don’t complain it’s hot till then, 70 is usually complained as being too cold still or if it’s windy it feels good. For me, 70 is still terrible because I have asthma so winter where it’s cold feels wonderful! I hate Texas summer and we have like 4

In Arizona. Summer It’s 115 degrees and it’s dry heat so it literally feels like you are standing in an oven, some times. And it’s 10 times worse when you are heat intolerant like she and I am.
Oof! We get some pretty hot summers in Wyoming, too - although it doesn't get quite that hot, we still easily get 2-3 weeks straight of highs in the upper 90s in July-August, and this year during that stretch of time I couldn't spend much of any time outside during the day because of it (last year I could, but this year I couldn't - my heat intolerance is getting worse). At least it cools off significantly at night, unlike it would if it was humid - one thing I absolutely love about the western U.S. (and absolutely hate about the Midwest and East coast; San Francisco's not bad, though, at least in January - never been there in the summer).

Jaquie ~ Beautiful photos of all of you ! Sorry that traveling is hard on you. I'm chronically ill, and traveling is very hard on me too. I live in Iowa. Used to live in Florida. It's 31 degrees and snow showers all day. It was snowing last night as well. If this is what spring looks like...it's terrible. Its too cold for me. Makes me have more pain in all my joints. I can barely walk because it hurts so bad. I take pain medicine every day. I miss Florida. I wish I could live there again, but it's expensive. I can't afford to move there, and live there. My sons don't fully understand about me being chronically ill. No matter what I've told them about my health problems...they don't get it. My younger son likes to joke around sometimes. He makes fun of me being in pain. I tell him...just wait till you get older, and have different health issues. Then you might know how I feel. Sometimes it makes me sad the way my family is. My older son doesn't invite me over to his place to visit him. He's usually too busy with his kids who are autistic, and with his job, and his friends. My sons are grown up now. :o\

I so know what you mean about travel. Between security measures being incompatible with my medical needs and how sick I got the last time I flew, air travel just isn’t worth it. I had a migraine the last time I flew (California to Maine) for the whole flight and a week after. Driving is easier but still hard. There’s something about the up and down and pressure of flying that’s really bad. Somehow a 3 day drive (Maine to Florida) is so much easier on me than flying. I kinda wonder why you didn’t drive to Dallas....I imagine it’d be doable in a 1 or 2 day drive. Then again, I drive an hour to get groceries and 1-3 hours for doctors...so I don’t think twice about driving distances. It’s also the perfect excuse for listening to audiobooks.
I so understand what you mean about pushing yourself. I’m having bad dehydration stomach cramps, and we were going to see a movie later. Between how I feel and ice/snow/freezing rain it’s not happening today.

The altitude change and barometric pressure really screws with joints/dysautonomia. That’s the cause of all your woes. I deal with it even just going to the major city from my cute little mountain town.

Welcome to Texas! Lately weather has been cold, hot, cold, hot. I'll never get used to it. :) And summers here are like 100° with high humidity 😭

I never would’ve guessed Texas. I hope you’re able to enjoy some of the sights. And while I understand the whole make-up thing, I can’t remember the last time I wore any, although it was for a wedding and I ended up taking most of it off before leaving the house, you should wear it more often. You have a natural beauty, you and Janiece, both, but what little makeup you wore in the the blog really accentuated it.

I just recently traveled to Texas an highly suggest trying straight off the roadBBQ it’s delicious and you get HUGGE portions !!! And for attractions I would go to the Huston zoo. it’s so fun! Enjoy and have fun. Just remember don’t push yourself to hard because Texas will always be there and you and your Heath is so much more important. I love your videos keep up your positive attitudes 🙂
Yes, you should go to the Dallas aquarium. I went to Dallas aquarium last year and loved it! but I bet Florida has way better aquariums since you guys live by the ocean 🌊

Down where I live in Texas it’s 90 with 100% humidity in the summer fairly often. Texans usually don’t complain it’s hot till then, 70 is usually complained as being too cold still or if it’s windy it feels good. For me, 70 is still terrible because I have asthma so winter where it’s cold feels wonderful! I hate Texas summer and we have like 4

In Arizona. Summer It’s 115 degrees and it’s dry heat so it literally feels like you are standing in an oven, some times. And it’s 10 times worse when you are heat intolerant like she and I am.
Oof! We get some pretty hot summers in Wyoming, too - although it doesn't get quite that hot, we still easily get 2-3 weeks straight of highs in the upper 90s in July-August, and this year during that stretch of time I couldn't spend much of any time outside during the day because of it (last year I could, but this year I couldn't - my heat intolerance is getting worse). At least it cools off significantly at night, unlike it would if it was humid - one thing I absolutely love about the western U.S. (and absolutely hate about the Midwest and East coast; San Francisco's not bad, though, at least in January - never been there in the summer).
Well to make you guys feel any better, here in Wisconsin we have 14” of Snow! But I love you vlogs I don’t miss one. Thank you
