No doubt about it. I actually have a tendency to just hang up once I know it's about making a deal over the phone. Only thing I wanna hear over a phone in a business setting, is where when how, or to clarify something. If you can't trust your product to sell well on its own, then I have no reason to believe that you're not cheating me out of everything I have.

To me, seeing someone ask for a $100 discount off $30,000 just comes off as odd, though this dude and his "University" seems sus without any prior research done by myself. I personally wouldn't do business with someone worried about the small amounts of money in the beginning. You’re not a salesperson. This kind of negotiation can work but you wouldn’t say it as rudely. You would reframe it to ask ‘$100 is a drop in this $30,000 ocean. I know you aren’t asking for $100 because you need to spend it on something else, so help me understand why you’re asking that?’. You would never ever say ‘if you’re worried about $100 go and find a street corner to beg on’. They would rightly tell you to fuck off. This is how you know Grant Cardone has never actually sold anything before, because this stuff only works in scripted UA-cam shorts like this one. Besides, they wouldn’t ask for it if there wasn’t a reason, so find out the reason and you can better serve them.
