Might want to rethink Colorado. It's been califonicated. Had to move to Montana to get back to what's real. Really like your channel!
Awesome video Eric. You have been on my heart so much, praying for you and your family daily. I even put you and your family on our church prayer list. We’re ALL pulling for you my friend. You have touched so many people because the world needs more people like you. You stay strong and keep up your faith! Can’t wait to see you back on a regular basis. Missing you in Indiana.
Thanks for sharing, got to get to know you better. As a kid pheasant hunting was my favorite also. Not many pheasants in western Pa anymore. But we have plenty of turkeys. My favorite wood smell would be ash, we have many dead and dying ash from the devastation of the Emerald Ash Borer. Great video , I also really enjoy Ohio Hilltop hobby farm, and Mallard5 Farmhouse.
REDBELT. Best underdog movie ever made.
Ray Duerksen I have not seen that one. Just been added to my list. Awesome, thank you for sharing!
Thank you for sharing! Great to hear more of your background. I am also in IT & am getting into homesteading.
great to get to know you a bit more. enjoy watching your videos. would love to get out to that area of the country some time. blessings to you and your family.
Keep up the videos my man. Very good entertainment. Always look forward to seeing if you have a new video uploaded.
Great video Eric - keep up the good work!!
Nice video as always, if you do ever want to visit the North East, I have a nice little homestead in Vt, you and your family have a place to stay! Thanks for all your videos
Awe! "Where the red fern grows" was one of my all time favorite stories too! For pretty much the same reasons. :-) I can see you being a "mediator". I'm really enjoying these 30 facts videos!! Great job!
nice to know you more. the spaghetti meal sounds so nice, real food made from scratch !. take care
another great video. Thanks for sharing all that. I am also an early riser, usually by 4-4:30 though...
You do a great job I learned a lot about wood. Thank you
outstanding. thank you.
if your family ever wants to see the Great Northeast, you will be welcome on my Vt homestead.
Great video as always!
Well said! I believe you and your family are successful at most all of your projects. Keep those videos coming. ✌🏻
Simpleman Steve we sure do have our failures
Doug from Doug and Stacy recommended your channel. Looking forward to your videos.
Enjoyed your 30 things. Thanks for the shout out (I think), now to figure out 30 things about me(us) and find the time to make the video in the busy coming days.
I lived in Colorado. Beautiful state, but i'd really love to live in Alaska at some point too. Thanks for sharing a little about you.
Enjoyed getting to know you. Thanks Eric
I come away knowing a bit more, of you, I'm just opposite on eating, I'm a slow eater, thanks for sharing. Nice job Eric,,
I love our IT people they make things so much easier. We have a lot of interests in common. Thanks for sharing.
Crazy the amount of IT people in homesteading I'm also an IT administrator.
Oh wow! I'm not sure I've got 30 things that anyone would find interesting... but I'll give it a shot! Thanks so much!
yes Alaska!! would love to live there for one year to see if we could make it!!
good stuff buddy don't worry bout to much talking I myself enjoyed getting to know somethings about you thank you very much for sharing I couldn't do a video period haha I'm not a real talker in front of a camera tnx
I can't tell you how much we enjoyed this. It's really fun to get to know the people behind the videos and especially to see the similarities. It was really well put together. Loved hearing about you! Thanks so much for doing this!
Guildbrook Farm | Simple Sustainable Living really enjoyed your video and what you guys do. Thank you for thinking of us!
Great video Eric!! I really enjoyed that! Yes on ALASKA!!! - Mike
Great video. Thanks
Where the red fern grows was my favorite movie as a kid
Good stuff ! Subbed!
I really enjoyed this video. We have so much in common.
WOW - I'm from Milwaukee, Sherman Park. Now I live in NE Wisconsin. I play piano took lessons for 8 years and still can't read, but I can pick up any instrument and play a lil sumthan by ear also. I also rap and compose.
My older son plays drums, piano and composes music using cubebase. My youngest son plays piano.
May God Bless you and your family and next time your wife shows that much love preparing a meal, try to take your time eating it. At least you took the time to give her props and let her know how much you enjoyed it.
No kidding! Talk about a small world! :)
Oak huh? I never really noticed it's smell. Gotta go with birch myself even though we hardly ever use it.
Come on up to Alaska we have tons of mountains.
Love that smell of Oak as well! I look forward to those coldest days when I get to burn the heavier wood. Had no clue you worked in IT... Do you just remote in from home or is there a local office you commute to?
Nice to meet ya, Eric, lol. I've lived in mountainous terrain all my life. A flat horizon totally freaks me out.
Jeanette Waverly lucky 😀
Nice Eric. 5am oh boy that's early. I was just finished climbing down my tree stand a couple years back deer hunting when a cow moose came down the trail, I waited behind the tree till she was passing buy and I just jumped out and yelled at her, the poor thing fell on the ground and I ran up the tree stand. Boy was she mad. LOL
Scary. The injuries bull moose cause every year is insane. Not and animal to mess with.
I went to college. Don't use it, but was in serious financial difficulty for years trying to pay off my loans. I agree with you there!
Alaska draws me, too. :-)
Creating Essence frustrating. I know a lot of people that have had a very similar struggle. I think some places won't look at you if you don't have it. Seems like most don't care if you have the experience. Hard part is the first hurdle of getting some experience.
I think every channel needs to tell us the 5 w’s about themselves.
You may eat fast, but you need to eat more. Ha Ha. Your metabolism seems to be off the charts!!! Do you always have this much energy? If so, make that 31.
At least it will take until the second round this year! Let's Go Hawks!! On a side note, not sure if Doug and Stacy will forgive you for taking down the Blues.
Greetings from Chicago and the Blackhawks and I too enjoy pheasant hunting Eric. ATB Mike
+mfavia620 you (shaking my hand in rage) :)
LOL...
MAN THAT WAS FUN!!!
Thanks for the video Eric, was great getting to know you better. Thanks for the call out, even though you forgot my name 😂 I'll have my response soon!! Take care!!
Sorry bud.
No worries 👍🏼
What part of Milwaukee did you grow up. I grew up south Milwaukee near the airport
If you were such a city boy, how'd you learn to hunt? How'd you get into IT with no training? How about a video of you playing us some tunes?
+Schnot we use to travel to my grandmothers a lot as a kid and duck hunt. We also travel to ME and SD to hunt.
Never pheasant hunted with my dad when I was young but my friends dad introduced me to it. I swear half the fun is working the dog or dogs. Hunting was something my dad wanted us to learn since it was such an important part of his up bringing.
How I fell into IT is a story of its own. A company I worked for in the warehouse noticed me. Took a gamble and started handing some basic things off to me. Our site only had Remote support for IT. I became the hands and eye for our location. It Perked my interest and put my library card to work to learn everything I could. Later got transferred and became the remote support that I once was working with. Made many jumps from there.
How did you get started with IT?
Have you been to New Mexico?
I do believe the author of 'Where the Red Fern Grows' grew up not too far from where I live. I did meet him once.
great book....
+Judy Homesteader that would so cool to chat with them. I heard they did a remake of the movie but have not seen it yet.
yes there was a movie and i think a second part to the book. Very few books i have read and that is one of them!!
Funny you should mention " Where the red fern grows". It was on T V today. Only got to see the end. Almost lost it. So sad ending.
So Why No new Videos?
GO BLUES =)
good chat
Lol, I was listening to the last game when the wild played the Blues. My plan was to rub it in over twitter. Well that tweeet never happen. Ha
Life in Farmland I remember the North Stars
Every true Minnesotan loves the Wild and hates the Blackhawks lol.
Do you use a pop corn popper? Or do you microwave?
I love the stop top popcorn. Really easy to make and to me taste so much better.
