Y'know, at first I didn't care for this song when I heard it on the album. I mean, I didn't hate it, but I didn't especially like it either. But the more I listened to it, the more it grew on me, and now it's definitely one of my favorites. The last verse where the instruments go silent and everyone's singing in unison gets me good, in a way that it wouldn't if the whole song were a capella like that.

I recorded this song back about ‘95 shortly after I moved to Nashville. Wish I could find the tape. Due to a glitch, Davis Strait came out Faithis Strait. Sang my own harmony, played guitar in DADGAD. I like their version better.
