Yes thanks very much for the AV 30 info. I had two put in my 172 and have found the DI to drift badly..I must admit I tend to start the plane before they have aligned…I’ll try that and see what happens.. on the whole I am extremely happy with them.. I have them connected to a Garmin 430.
In the video you said you turned on the “internal magnetometer” …isn’t how that model always works if you don’t have the optional external magnetometer? Thanks!!!
How much work is it to maintain the polished aluminum? I am thinking of doing the same with my 150k but it is tied down instead of hangared. Would you recommend it? Nice video btw.

The earlier models did not have an internal magnetometer, and even one with it need it turned on and calibrated

Its an Ifly 740b. It is a Ram Mount

Its a lot of work depending on how shiny you want it! Too much anymore
