As a dental student and former hygienist, I definitely agree with this direction 😏
Yes I am sure if you are in Dental School you are getting taught all of the latest techniques. Not everyone has adopted this technique, I think fewer than 20% of surgeons but it makes such a difference to the recovery and it adds more precision to the operation. Good luck in Dental School, I know it is a grind.

going a lil bit more into detail about how it cuts bone but not your glove would had been apretiated
I imaggine it's simmilar to the circular blade that cut only bone by moving back and forth and wiggling, instead of rotating.... did I guess right? :p
