      Given how long it has been for both robot and lion I think they would keep up appearance of the stoic face with a confident smile in public but the moment they go into a private room they would be hugging and crying for they are no longer alone plus I think even if they both won't admit it they still love and respect each other both before and after hh also I'm now wondering what will lion do to the dark angels especially when he has the risen backing him up

The novels have heavily stressed how lonely each of them are, how desperate they are for emotional comfort that only their brothers can bring. The main problem is 40k dark angels are bit dumb still and seeing Fallen just walk back in after "they" blew up their home world, chances are some will ironically betray the Lion and try to kill the Risen. However, this was kept a secret from the DA and other chapters. So they operated on the fringe.

      @weshammer  Рік тому +15

      The absolute best advice I can give you is to pick a faction or character you find interesting and then look up books based on them. That's the best starting point. Think of the 40k universe more like a comic book universe. You don't need to start with the very first Superman comic to get into DC comics.
      If you absolutely cannot pick though, the Inquisitor series is fantastic. So you'd start with the eisenhorn trilogy
      Caiaphas caine is also a really good starting point.
      Then there's the first three Horus heresy books. Absolutely fantastic, but it does require you to know a little bit about the universe. If you've watched a bunch of lore videos though, you can jump right in.
