some of the best ads came from late 90s early 2000s time in hindi space, they were creative, 'actually' funny, self aware (but not just for the sake of it), some times local and old aesthetics and many times brave also

Very good breakthrough, i am a hardcore fan of Scoepio and i own one, if given an option between any other luxury suv and scorpio , i would always choose scorpio. My scorpio has gone very old but still the power and pickup is gr8. Thanls to mahindra for making this "Daddy"

I just happened to discover this channel a few months back and I am glad I did! I mean, look at the amount of knowledge you provide! 9:40 I never in my life would have observed that. And that last piece you made was 🔥
P.S.: I am not even in the field of film-making, VFX etc. I have zero knowledge. But by watching your videos I realized that how interesting this field is but at the same time how ingenious one has to be to get things work even if it's a small ad.

I was actually expecting you to also talk about how Singham series did a lot of indirect or more subtle marketing of Scorpio.
The kind of marketing where Mahindra cars are not only used for hero shots but also get destroyed in the film. Something that BMW has been doing for a long time with the Mission Impossible series, Dodge doing the same with Fast and the furious series and Aston Martin has been doing the same thing with the James bond franchise.
In fact this subtle type of marketing worked so well that for Singham Returns, TATA tried to replicate it but failed. Mahindra however, Successfully pulled it off in the rest of the Singham series or the "Cop universe". And it actually did wonders for them. Mahindra actually understood how to use the Soft power and influence of cinema for their products.
