This guy is hidden gem... So much things I learnt from him. He is different from the rest of the UA-camrs who keeps yelling BS without making any sense. This guy is down to earth, and calm as f. Hope you grow more and more.... This is the first channel which Bell Icon I actually pressed.
14:38 In Spiderman No way home trailer Marvel have also done Clever editing. In the end of the trailer, It looks like Dr.Ouc Speaks to Tom Hollands Spiderman (The Editing Try to convey it ) But actually both the scenes are from different Locations. SO Dr. Octopus was saying Hello peter to Tobey Maguire's Spiderman.
From this video we can learn that why some directors make so iconic movies, coz they're that crazy, that they can literally do anything to just make it perfect
I am also very happy to see that you are talking about the historic movie, Mughal e Azam. I love all of your videos and your work. You always give information like a friend. Love your work. Keep it up👍
It's look like you genuinely like to talk about these things with curiosity and Intereste in them. And you've shown that with you're efforts. I also at first thought what can a graphic designer talk about movies and shows but you changed that perception of me. And now you can just add filmmaker reacting to movies because you're a pretty good filmmaker now. And you're putting a lot of work towards that.
I literally can't stop myself from watching the song 'Mere Sapno Ki Rani' , after listening the fact that Sharmila Tagore was not there in the train at all !
11:36 That type of cut is know as a J cut because we hear the audio of the next scene before the scene... Also there's a L cut where the audio of the current scene is stretched to the next scene... Just sharing a bit of knowledge...😄😄
I think the best part of the Sharmila Tagores scenes in that song is that they added in practical moving shadows in her set too (probably with prop trees and branches).
Wo bonfire wali feeling hum sabko aati h Aapke videos dekhte waqt! Mere sapno ki Rani na jaane kitni Baar Dekha h but edit itni awesome h ke we never get to feel that something is amiss.
The Mirror scene in Mughal-e-Azam was probably shot on Tilt shift cine lenses if I am not wrong. And Sharmila Tagore was busy shooting with Sir Satyajit Ray in his film Aranyer Din Ratri(The days and nights in forest) while she was in the middle of working for Aradhana. Shakti Shamanta was not pleased with it at all.
Mujhe to abhi pta chala mere sapno ki rani song ka..there were not together.. In that time next level editing.. Thank u brother... You are really awesome..
the video may not have a million views , but your fascination towards indian cinema......get me , loved to see that there still exists professional critics in india , and i am gladly happy to see your adhipurush video getting such a good response
Great content as always, Shamim. I'm always immensely impressed by how you can draw parallels from retro movies to our current modern cinema. Too good!
You said you were so happy making this video and you don't know why..similarly I was having Goosebumps when you did breakdown and praised the making of Mughal e Azam and i don't why ! 🙌🏽😍
0:55 sir Hame Knowledge se matlab hai brightness nhi Source kesa bhi ho chahe 100 saal purana video hi ho par Agar knowledge hai to sab kuch hai love u sir
This was perhaps the best video. I learnt so much about filmmaking. And also I never realized the making of Mere sapnon ki Rani. Thanks a lot bro,for your hardwork and research.
Really liked this video and the fact these things happen and even Indian directors thought like this makes me so happy. If I was there making this video maybe my excitement level will be the same too. Super excited to watch something more like this and your videos help in learning so much.
Itna detail me jaan ke bht mast laga. Soch rhe hain hm bhi kal sunday ka din isi ko dekh k bitaye. Khair starting me jo brightness ka baat kiye ,aap ek kaam kr sakte hain. Apne background me ek light source rakh lijiye koi alag colour ka other than white . And try to focus that light towards the wall away from you behind ur back . Ya fir ajkal ek light aata hai jo upar ceiling ki taraf focused rhta hai. Vo bhi acha lagega. Vo aesthetic ko badha dega .
Very good work done here. As being of the same background like you with almost the same years of experience I feel you are doing a great work of spreading the true meaning of an art aesthetics. Please check every frame is a painting, accented cinema (Sholay: Appreciating an Epic Masala | Video Essay) a Chinese praising India cinema you will love it.
Song in Aradhana, Didn't ever notice that... now when observed, i can say such a brilliant work !! despite of having camera restrictions (back then camera stabilization was not there, how smartly they took shots.. jeep is too slow when they take close ups, all big movements happen in master shots, vandana's shots are all framed tightly.) In conclusion i feel that its not about having highly sophisticated technology and doing things but doing maximum with whatever sources you have... must say a Brilliant work ! Nice to know this observation :)
Re watched sapno ke Rani after your video, was fascinated to see that even the timing of smokes is also synchronised with the tune......the makers had really put their heart and souls in their works.
bro ur fantastic i just randomly clicked on your hanuman teaser breakdown video today and since then i am continously watching you its ur 5th video i am watching today u r doing a very great job man keep it up 👍👍👍👍👍👍
By the way that Sholay bullet scene zoom in and reaction than zoom out was inspired from the film “ The Good the Bad and The Ugly”. Which is exactly will see in Quentin Tarantino movie “ Inglourious Basterds”
i was so happy like you while watching this video. but i feel it is a liitle different video than your other videos. i am learning so much from your videos sir. waiting for your next video.

I really didn't realize that in "Mere sapno ki rani ", the song there was 2 different shots combine together. Thats insane 🤯
I think the best part of the Sharmila Tagores scenes in that song is that they added in practical moving shadows in her set too (probably with prop trees and branches).
