We are going to drop two episodes of BCS from here on out. We just posted S3 E4 and 5 of our Patreon. We are ahead by a couple months there if anyone is interested in having early access! We also double drop there as well
Awesome!!
YAY!
LOVE YOU!!!
Thanks
One of you said that you should be on 'The Price is Right? Aaron Paul actually WAS. There's an old clip floating around on UA-cam, of him as a contestant.....& being told to "C'mon down...." ua-cam.com/video/_SEL27xiJGQ/v-deo.html
Three breaking bad references:
1. KEN WINS. As you guessed, his car gets burned down by Walt.
2. The expensive tequila (Zafiro Añejo) is the same type Gus gives to Don Eladio.
3. One of the cop who checks the 'idiot's' house is the same one who answers Skylar's call when Walt barges in and refuses to leave the house.
That #3 is fantastic, that kind of background continuity makes shows feel so much more real and lived in. Fucking love it.
Nice. I never noticed 3 until you mentioned it.
Nice.
The actor (Stoney Westmoreland) who plays the cop was ironically arrested a few years ago for trying to solicit sex from a minor.
Oh damn... I never noticed #3. Great catch!! 😁❤
I love how this episode really characterizes Jimmy's inability to follow the rules. He sees something that clearly states what to do, and he just has this deeply-ingrained impulse to always do the opposite. That's the significance of the switch.
Yes. The intro also shows how different he became after Breaking Bad. He used to be a rebel and live by his own rules (flipping the switch) and now he won't even open an emergency exit. Love how they wrote that.
@@oldcat7 Yea, but the emergency exit wasn't really about rule breaking. It's about not blowing his cover.
IT COULD GAVE EXPLODED
@@rustincohle2135 but he hesitated to get help. when it came to the switch he didnt.
Daniel "Pryce" Wormald makes Gale Boetticher look like a Salamanca.
Imon spinning on her chair happy had me grinning and I didn't even realise the good mood these reactions had put me in until Abi mentioned it. I haven't seen any of the anime stuff but love these reactions guys, all the way from England :)
I feel in this show, mischief, fraud, and lies are treated like addictions. People just can't help themselves even when it becomes destructive.
You guys are the best
they seriously are. Only "reaction" videos I'll look at
Imon and Abi, "Breaking Bad" takes place between 2008 and 2010.
Better Call Saul takes place between 2002 and 2004{ SE5 }
*there are six seasons in BCS
Hate to admit it but the actor who plays Ignacio is a damn good looking dude
he’s gorgeous i can’t help but literally get distracted from any scene that he is in because of how handsome he is 😂
Do you even know the definition of insanity?
I mention this only because Imon mentions, but I think there is a misconception about this episode. Jimmy didn't really want something like Davis & Main. Jimmy wanted to work with his brother and his brother's law firm. Now knowing Jimmy if this was that he honestly wanted to make his brother proud or if thought it would be easier to get by if he was part of a law firm with his name in it, could be both. But once the idea that his brother never really believed in him came to light. he begins a downward spiral, as seen in this episode. Basically if he didn't have what he wanted he was going to do what he was good at. Which is not following the rules.
Aww you guys are spoiling us!
I'm not sure whether you guys caught all the Breaking Bad easter eggs in this episode but the tequila Jimmy & Kim drank(Zafiro Anejo) was the same one Gus bought for Don Eladio in season 4 of Breaking Bad when he took out the cartel. Also, the white cop who was called to the house of the guy who got ripped off by Nacho was one of the two cops who went to Walt's house when Skylar tried to kick him out in season 2 I think.
Just found yall about 30 minutes ago. I just finished BCS. That and Breaking Bad amazing. Which this show is a prequel anyways. I would of watched it with yall had I found yall earlier.
Love your energy. Glad I found yall. ⚡
In Santa Fe all the buildings have a style like that. Kinda Pueblo style, lots of stone. They have strict building codes so even the big chain stores match the style.
Jimmy is deeply affected by Marco's death.
"What if this kills someone?"
Bruh this isn't rick and morty
10:01 - I feel personally attacked lol
As we watch vicariously your reactions
NGL, i loved season one, but was the moment that made me fall in love with the show 16:30. Such a nice touch! Saul is rule a breaker. Its how hes wired! Even something as simple as "Don't flip the switch.", makes his body ich.
Santa Fe is like an hour north of Albuquerque.
the flip of the switch (in my opinion) is the actual start of the show. things really pick up from here on out.
Yeah, he chose to flip the switch, he broke a rule even if he was at a good place in terms of career. It was super symbolic.
Well damn, it's Colin Robinson in that loud car!
Love your reactions 🌴🌴
Underrated channel confirmed
you two are ridiculous and hilarious
"Don't call the police when you're a criminal and you do stuff."
This is sound advice.
Two episodes in one day? Love it
Better Call Saul def took inspiration from Fargo in how some of the populace act.
I think the light switch is just supposed to be symbolic. Like, Jimmy is flipping a switch and trying to go straight and work at the law firm, but deep down he knows he can't keep it on.
Is that parking ramp the one from the face off episode of Breaking Bad?
I beg that one day you guys react to Overly Cautious Hero. One of the characters specifically acts like how u guys when u see a guy you like in anime. It’s a hilarious show with a nice plot
It's sad seeing Jimmy like this, but he brought it on himself when he associated with criminals like Walt.
Wait, Walt wasn't a big bad criminal when he met Saul. He an Jesse were just two goofballs and Saul had to introduce them to the criminal world. Saul is the farthest away from being an inocent person that one can be, I even think the had it too easy on Breaking Bad.
A bartender can get 18 shots out of a standard 750ml bottle of tequila. The three of them finished an entire bottle with each shot costing $50. When you add in New Mexico's sales tax and alcohol tax, Ken's bill came to $957.03...and that's if you don't include a tip! Adjusted for inflation, that's $1391.80 today.
No, not quite. I did the math on this years ago and made a meme about it:
imgur.com/gallery/xbm6xUb
750ml is 25.9 ounces. Shot glasses are either 1oz or 1.5oz. The shot glasses the bartender served them were 1.5oz-- which would equal 17 shots, not 18. So, $50 per shot is $850 plus Albuquerque sales tax at the time (7.5%) totals $913.75 plus they had appetizers. I doubt Ken left a tip after getting shafted like that.
@@rustincohle2135 The difference between a full shot and a shot missing 1/17th of a shot is a few drops. A skilled bartender will be able to stretch an additional shot out of the bottle, so 18 shots. Especially at $50 a shot, because that's potentially another $10 in tips - maybe more if you got a high roller trying to impress someone. A good bartender can read their customers like that. On top of that, it's three people ordering shots and it divides into 18 more evenly. That's a nice meme and all, but there's a difference between googled numbers and the lived experience.
Sorry for the unrelated question, but figured I had a better chance of getting an answer on a recent video lol. I just came across this channel and was checking out the MHA reactions, but it looked like some episodes (like S1E10) were missing. Are those patreon only? Or were they uploaded and taken down?
Those videos were blocked and lost sadly :(
Imon_Snow Awww...thanks for responding anyway though. I’ll try to just watch what’s available. 😊
ngl, following that last scene, a green portal should have opened up, and Rick, cartoon and all, should have come through and presented him with a shovel.
Couldn't help but noticed you said donkey balls...
1:53
I think Dahmer had more space between his two sides of mustache.
hi guys my bday is coming up and it would mean a lot if you guys reacted to an anime called banana fish? its one of my ultimate faves and ik you guys will love it, love you guys!
Ken LOSES two times.
... *sigh* Grab a shovel Morty. Grab a shovel!
They could do a show that's nothing but somebody considering pushing a big red button and y'all would go insane.
React to Golden Girls. It’s what the people want
How old are you? If they do that, then they HAVE to react to I Love Lucy.
@James R AGREED!
😂
:D
Hello can u react to the manga Fire force pls
It's the worst season but still good lol
THIRSTY
It’s def more slow but stick with it and I think you’ll see a lot more breaking bad for sure
You guys don't have to tell us this anymore lol. We were hooked from season 1 episode 1. I think you can tell with our reactions and discussions how enthusiastic we are about BCS. We adore it!
Dude, just stfu
juntakyle The thing is that this show is already fantastic, in many ways, on its own merits. It doesn’t have to be like Breaking Bad.
Let them be the judge of that.
Why do people come on BCS videos and tell reactors how "slow" it is and to "stick with it"? I see this all the time and there's not a single reactor of this show on youtube (that I have seen) who has ever complained that it is slow or shown disinterest. Everyone reacting to it loves it. And yet, like clockwork, these comments always pop up. It's odd because it's so disconnected from the reality.
Something I don't like: why does the idiot have to be an I.T. worker? I'm a I.T. worker woman and I'm kind of tired of shows representing me and my co-workers like idiots... Actually, we software developers are usually more intelligent than most people.
They are not questioning his intelligence. They are saying he is an idiot socially.
You're mad because of that? You really are an idiot
You guys have got to relax.
I enjoyed it haha, better then falling asleep.
