One thing: there was a unique Togepi that you could get in XD Gale of Darkness that was guaranteed to have Tri-Attack. When combined with a high SA Togekiss + Serene Grace and Silk Scarf, it's a pretty nasty combo even without the original STAB it got from the normal typing. Very rare nowadays, but totally legit.
As an update to this, I just found out that Togepi and Togetic can actually learn Tri Attack as a TR in Sword and Shield. It seems to be one of the standard awards for Max Raid Battles in a lot of places within the Wild Area, so this combo is significantly easier to get your hands on now, even if it doesn't have stab anymore.
Where to start.. For one, it gets access to follow me, great typing, insanely high flinch rates with Air slash and serene grace. Now gets access to super luck, which combined with a razor claw or scope lens means it has a 50% crit rate. It is an all around insane support pokemon, second to maybe dusclops. It can fend for itself very easily, and can shut down threats with air slash flinches.

I’m surprised that in Gen 4 and Gen 5 nobody tried using Tri Attack on Togekiss. If you don’t know in Pokémon XD there’s a Shadow Togepi that knows Tri Attack and you can transfer it to a GBA game after clearing the story. If you then transferred it to Gen 4 you could evolve it into Togekiss. It would be Special Normal STAB that thanks to Serene grace would give a 40% chance to cause either burning, paralysis or freezing
@@kylepua3469 did somebody see my comment? Also it’s technically only 13.33% chance of freezing specifically it’s just a 40% chance of inflicting a status condition

Who here remembers Gold's Togepi, Togebo, the savage alcoholic chain-smoking gambling bruise-knuckled Togepi that absolutely destroyed Silver's Tyranitar in Pokemon Adventures
Togetic actually hasn’t been in the lowest tier in recent gens, largely because of the introduction of Eviolite. It’s movepool has expanded along with Togekiss’s, and it can also pull off a good Paraflinch set, especially with its good typing and Eviolite-boosted defenses. It’s speed also isn’t as much of a problem thanks to it’s increased bulk and the fact that it’s in a lower tier. As far as I can remember it’s in either RU or NU (though I think it’s NU because RU is full of walls who don’t care about air slash and clerics who can clear paralyzation as of now)
Bad until generation 5 when it got Drought, then mediocre in gen 6 with the weather nerf, then finally mediocre again in gen 7 with instant Hail and Aurora Veil with it resting in Borderline - too good for UnderUsed but not used enough to be considered OverUsed - currently.

Man! I keep saying "if i could make my joy into a cure for depression, i would get over my sadly terrifying fear of needles to do so" but all i needed was a Togepi to just take my mental joy to others. I wish atleast cause i am overly happy alot of the time.
How GOOD were BUG types actually?!?! I want this video because everybody thinks bug types are weak. BUT ARE THEY? Like this comment if you want the video to be a thing!!!
DankestOverlord The only good bug types are Heracross, Scizor, Forretress and Mega Beedril (probably there are a couple more, but these bugs what came to my head). Special mention goes to Ninjask due to it being on baton pass teams until Scolipede outclassed it as a Speed Passer.
Togepi is my favorite Pokémon still to this day. And so glad to see that he made a massive comeback in sword and shield and is one of the best in the game when evolved to Togekiss. You should update that
Albert Batres to be honest, pretty terrible actually, yeah Wonder guard is pretty good but...yeah the ONLY thing it has that is good is Wonder guard, the rest...is fucking awful, it's stats, it's movepool, and 90 base attack is pretty pathetic, faster and stronger ghost types outclassed it like Gengar (and it's Mega), Froslass and Mismagius, and ghost types that can take hits like Dusclops with Eviolite, Dusknoir, Cofagrigus and Mega Sableye, let's not forget that status, weather, and Pokemon with Mold breaker, Turbo blaze and Terra volt can destroy Shedinja, also entry hazards like Spikes, Toxic spikes and Stealth rock can kill it as well, a Pokemon holding a Toxic Orb, Flame Orb, Black sludge and Sticky barb can use Trick on Shedinja and kill it with those items, last but not least, if Shedinja is a physical attacker, it can KO itself if it hits Pokemon holding a Rocky helmet or if it has Rough skin or Iron barbs, with all that said, Shedinja is in NU
FamilyFunday 7 Don't listen to this guy. Appearantly it's a thing now where people will lie about FSG already having done a video on a pokémon, just so they can get people to stop asking.

I ran a surprise mixed Togekiss in Gen 5. Hustle ability, max attack and special attack with Extreme Speed, Brick Break, Fire Blast, and Shadow Ball. Assisted by a Baton Passer with Hone Claws/Swords Dance.
Woah woah woah, you didn’t even talk about Togetic and eviolite! And how it would spam Tri Attack. Togetic is possibly one of the best eviolite users nowadays in PU.
TLDR - It held some promise as a lower tier niche in gens 2/3 thanks to Spikes and Rapid Spin combined with a few offensive options, but Stealth Rock killed it. I made a long explanation a few weeks ago.

Watching this thing grow from such humble roots was actually quite incredible.
Will we see another type analysis soon? The Ice video is my favourite of yours.
Yes!
How GOOD were Ground Types ACTUALLY?
Your content has always been consistently solid, but this video was excellent! Felt very polished. Keep up the good work!
Pretty please can we have a How good were gligar and gliscor actually ?!!
He should do recap all the pokemon he's done when the Gen.7 meta has settle.
Man! I keep saying "if i could make my joy into a cure for depression, i would get over my sadly terrifying fear of needles to do so" but all i needed was a Togepi to just take my mental joy to others. I wish atleast cause i am overly happy alot of the time.
How good was gligar & gliscor ACTUALLY?
JT LDrago94 I second this
How GOOD were BUG types actually?!?!
MD3 Fan mega pinsir bro
MD3 Fan and feromossa
also genesect
including volcarona and buzzwole
"Joy Dust" does sound like a drug
How good was Exeggutor ACTUALLY?
Yes! Finally! Thank you for so this mon!
Togepi is my favorite Pokémon still to this day. And so glad to see that he made a massive comeback in sword and shield and is one of the best in the game when evolved to Togekiss. You should update that
How good was S H E D I N J A actually? Please I'm begging you
Albert Batres That'll probably be the April Fool's day analysis.
Joe Boxer That'd actually be really funny I hope he does that
Albert Batres to be honest, pretty terrible actually, yeah Wonder guard is pretty good but...yeah the ONLY thing it has that is good is Wonder guard, the rest...is fucking awful, it's stats, it's movepool, and 90 base attack is pretty pathetic, faster and stronger ghost types outclassed it like Gengar (and it's Mega), Froslass and Mismagius, and ghost types that can take hits like Dusclops with Eviolite, Dusknoir, Cofagrigus and Mega Sableye, let's not forget that status, weather, and Pokemon with Mold breaker, Turbo blaze and Terra volt can destroy Shedinja, also entry hazards like Spikes, Toxic spikes and Stealth rock can kill it as well, a Pokemon holding a Toxic Orb, Flame Orb, Black sludge and Sticky barb can use Trick on Shedinja and kill it with those items, last but not least, if Shedinja is a physical attacker, it can KO itself if it hits Pokemon holding a Rocky helmet or if it has Rough skin or Iron barbs, with all that said, Shedinja is in NU
also annoying af when your pokemon does not have moves that can take care of it
How good were the johto starters actually?
sparkly_donuts Bad. Every one of them is bad.
Andrei Valdez Feraligatr has Sheer Force with good stats, Typhlosion has good stats but lacks a good move set and we all know Meganium is terrible.
Oh the egg puns! Great vid, Togekiss is one cool (and cool looking) little mon!
How GOOD was Clefable Actually?
Terrible until it got its fairy typing.
It was OK in gen 4 when it got Magic Guard. Then gen 5 happened.
Robletics It already has been done.
YEEES
FamilyFunday 7 Don't listen to this guy. Appearantly it's a thing now where people will lie about FSG already having done a video on a pokémon, just so they can get people to stop asking.
A very good question James should ask.
How good was Weezing actually?
How good was Elctrode, lets hope this one rolls around at some point.... I'll be here all day guys
AJ Parker noooo electrode F*cking suck
How good were the Johto Starters ACTUALLY? Great videos, keep up the good work :D
Bad
Not Feraligatr nigga
How good was Quagsire actually?
Ornyxrex_97 The Quag is unaware, he don't care 😂😂
Kyvan de Jong he's a good stall tank
Kyvan de Jong it got stockpile, infestation, and toxic, it's just a stall
Kyvan de Jong true but with unaware, it takes hits better, grass isn't very common because it is weak to so much.
Kyvan de Jong yeah I guess. Quagsire isn't really terrible though. I think it belongs in at least BL2
How Good was Gligar/Gliscor
Clefable!!! How GOOD was Clefable ACTUALLY?
I've literally been preaching for this for 2 months!
Ditto1396 LOL Same
I hate how all the comment's are people asking for new mons and not how good ur vids are keep up the good work FSG!
I make it a point to say these vids are awesome, even the egg jokes on this one!
yeah literaly every coment is about the next video no1 cares to talk about the video they just watch
its our society always lookign for the future and forgeting the present
I ran a surprise mixed Togekiss in Gen 5. Hustle ability, max attack and special attack with Extreme Speed, Brick Break, Fire Blast, and Shadow Ball. Assisted by a Baton Passer with Hone Claws/Swords Dance.
Gligar and Gliscor? The best poison heal Pokemon?
How good were the hitmons actually?
Elite Four Christian goooooooooood
"More awkward waddling pre-evolution"
How dare you insult my favorite pokemon (but yeah I agree it's pretty bad competitively)
Woah woah woah, you didn’t even talk about Togetic and eviolite! And how it would spam Tri Attack. Togetic is possibly one of the best eviolite users nowadays in PU.
SonOfUlti Yeah i completely forgot about that
Togetic is D tier in USUM PU viability rankings...
Togeti isn't that good, it loses to many stealth rockers and still has shit defense with Eviolite
I wouldn’t call it one of the best. Maybe because it’s slow and somewhat ok sp atk. The best eviolite user is probably chansey
In PU it is one of the best. Maybe not all around THE best, but it's still up there.
Let’s see how the META was shaken by METAgross
Togekiss is my favourite Pokémon. It's so cute and it's pretty great
How good was Tangela / Tangrowth actually?
How GOOD was Delibird ACTUALLY?
TLDR - It held some promise as a lower tier niche in gens 2/3 thanks to Spikes and Rapid Spin combined with a few offensive options, but Stealth Rock killed it. I made a long explanation a few weeks ago.
People love False Swipe reviewing derpy pokemon, such as Shuckle.
