Steve, has the best, apparel, with his own ideas. I love my two hat's, mask, and shirt I've purchased. And his baits, terminal tackle gear, are all awesome!! 💯 🛶 🎣

Great to see you fishing again. Flamingo is my favorite spot when I lived in south Florida. Whitewater Bay is good also.

Great trip. I was wondering if you would get up to the Everglades. Maybe in Late Oct or Nov when the temp lowers a few degrees and the dry season starts to set in you could camp at Flamingo for 2-3 days. Water should clear some and we all know the fishing can get really hot in the fall. Great video. The new shirt is wonderful. Some of my best memories w were wade fishing grass flats back home in the TampaSota Bay area with my Dad. Chaasing Trout, Snook & Redfish along the mangroves. The last fishing trip before he passed away was doing that very thing. Thanks for bringing back those visions.

this is the best channel on you tube for me. I'm always learning something about fishing or about nice locations to fish in. I try my best to let all the ads run while I am watching these videos so I can help somehow. I also bought some AATB stuff and it is totally worth it. Good quality and great prices

There are very few of us that are less then thrilled with a Snook. The slot! Catch pups catch big moms. Good little adventure and promotion.

I've been to Flamingo! Got eaten by the mosquitoes in late September!
I really liked the vultures that roost in the trees. If you die there, at least you won't go to waste...
Edit: You know, when I go fishing, I'm happy if I catch _ANYTHING_, lol...

    Fishing Tip For Redfish!
Use LIVE SHRIMP! Bring a dozen, use a ⅜z jighead, red or green. Run the hook from underneath the tail, through the body, pop the hook out between the front legs. Cast like Steve was doing, into the mangroves on a sandy bottom. let the bait rest, 2 quik bumps to simulate the shrimp moving. keep a tight line. The redfish will strike and move to your left. Good Luck

You can do really well with the reds on cut mullet and pins... you'll get lots of cats and sharks as by catch but it can be a pain to get them on flukes.

Last winter the park started requiring all boat operators to pass a park safety course online. Be aware before you visit.

    • @davidsawyer1599

Because most boaters are clueless. Few if any take the free courses offered by the Coast Gaurd Auxiliary.

It's not simply boating, its about navigating the park and its waterways. Certain areas and activities are off limits.

Fast moving tides over the mudflats and shallows keep sediment constantly stirred up giving it a milky consistency.

The water clarity it dependent upon the wind direction. It also matters when the wind direction changes and how soon after one decides to fish.
