@@DragonTamer31K that isn’t true either including sugar in your diet does not make you crave sugar more in fact it is the restriction of sugar, like cutting it out completely or “only eating ‘healthy’ foods” that actually causes the body to not only crave sugar (because it’s predominantly glucose which is your brains optimal energy source) it can actually trigger both binge eating mentality and weight retention. La croix cooks fruit at high temperatures then collects the vapors which is a special process that makes it taste different. most just put artificial flavor in it or fruit juice and oils
actually always wondered this too. the FDA seems to only make sure there isn’t LITERAL poison in the food we eat but other than that i wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a complex system where some “paying” companies get the pass while others have a more watchful eye…
That's already come to light with meat plants. Several FDA inspectors were suddenly fired for shutting down a few beef plants that had some REAL issues (rats running around, rodent feces everywhere, broken refrigeration areas, etc). The beef lobbyists were able to get them re-opened virtually overnight and when the Inspectors complained, they lost their jobs. It's a real interesting story. I suggest searching for it.
