The only farms that don't get cab corn or beans are the keyboard farmers! We constantly have cab corn especially my father he will push the limits. I'll stop to unload with my combine twice to his one. I personally don't like spilling any grain but I like giving the old man crap on the radio when he does!!! We run 2 gleaner s98s with 40 foot macdon heads and 12 row gerinhof corn heads . I sprayed our wheat 2 weeks ago with 28 % nitrogen when it was warm. We keep going from 40 degrees to snow all winter here in southern Michigan. Great video keep up the good work!
@@farmhandmike yeah I'd have to talk to my family first . But I'd suppose it's possible as I'm not that far from you I live near the Michigan Ohio border .
Beautiful photography again Mike , with the drone and on the field, you also explain really well the configurations of all the machinery plus I like your humour!
Hi Mike! Quick story here, where i live, there's always heavy equipment running (cat d8s, dump trucks, graders) probably when i was about 8-11, when i would hear the sound of a machine running or at work, i would always hop on my bike and follow the sound of the machine and i would just be at total peace while watching. Just something about equipment that i love, but the squeak of a Cat dozer track is a sound that is very special to me. Everytime I heard it i didn't have to wonder what it was. Now im 16 and if i were to come to the US, i would be doing this and heavy equipment full time!
Another great video - no overly intrusive commentary or music, just the sounds of the machines themselves. A few other channels ought to take note ! I was surprised to see that the bat reel header didn't have any support wheels behind the vertical rear face - that's a lot of wieght for the crop elevator to support on its own
Holy Waterhemp Batman! Those boys need to turn down their spreader speed. Don’t want trash hitting your next pass in beans it knocks beans out of the pods. Corn not as important but he’s still spreading 50’+
Mike, if I know you, you were itchin' and/or twitchin' to jump in that DT610 & grain cart to offload that combine and load up the trucks! Just for the sake of the video of course 😀
If they wanted to bale the corn stalks/fodder for bedding they still could. Most of the farms that don't raise livestock just let the residue stay on the field and most will work it under after harvest.
23 minutes of porn lol... I live in the UK and dont see any any Versatile equipment, in fact I dont think there is any which is a shame because it just looks great in it colours
Have you seen any of Mike Mitchell’s videos from southern Saskatchewan? I think they have sox of the X9’s and over the last two years, one has burned up and they have continuous plugging problems. Not sure if it’s because they are running a 50 or 55’ Honeybee head or what it is but I’m pretty sure they won’t say it but are not happy the salesman sold them on them. He also has a couple of Fendt tractors that are USELESS in Canadian winters with the DEF systems.
All I can say is this farm watches Mike Mitchell on UA-cam and his opinion did not stop them from buying the Ideal combines. They really like the machines. I know it doesn't get as cold here as western Canada but DEF in extreme cold can be an issue for everyone. I personally don't know Mike Mitchell and have only watched a few of his videos but judging by all the advice I get on my videos how I do things wrong you can't take everything serious on here.
I think you meant to say the Mitchell’s had six Ideal 9’s, the X9 is a John Deere. They definitely abused their combines. Mike is hard on machinery, I have watched all his videos and I’m an old farmer’s son and I can tell you I would never let him operate any of my equipment. He pushes everything beyond its limit and thinks it is funny.
The Fendt Ideal combines are a beautiful machine. Like any fine piece of machinery they have to be treated with respect. Most of the Mitchell’s problems were caused by pilot error.
Glad to see more videos of Fendt Combines & tractor along with the Versatile.
With winter still hanging on here in SE Michigan, it sure is nice to watch your latest harvest video from the comfort of my recliner. Thanks Mike!

Two Gleaner combines sounds like a great video opportunity sometime.

SUPER!!!
These Fendt Ideals are really black big monsters! 😮
Thanks a lot for the video! 😊👍🏻

ما شاء الله
That really is one good looking tractor and grain cart. Great harvest vid.
Man I love these Fendt machines! I have thought many times of painting my massey GC 1723 that color.
You had greast drone footage love watching the big combines in action
The ideal combines look great😉👍 harvest videos are great to see👍😁
Hey mike from. Louisiana good to see you again good video
Great video, thanks for the video Mike
Great video as always Mike. Greatings from Germany
Good work, Mike, How about showing a close-up of the action of the grain ben and the way it's spitting out the grain.

I live about 8 miles from Justison Farms. I live at Raymond, IL. I go by and see the combines all the time.
Great video. Looking forward to more from this farm in the future. Really nice equipment.
You really do make good videos.👍
Yea still winter here in west-central Illinois too!!! So setting here watching a another great harvest video from Mike.
That is good looking equipment

Man I wish we had those big flat fields where you can run 16 row cornheads in my area.
I'm gonna be dreaming about cab corn for the next 2 nights now, much as i just seen. great video
Yes another Mike less video on UA-cam. From the imperial co California.
Great video.. always look forward to seeing your content! Thanks Mike

Awesome equipment 💯💯
👍
Wonder how this farmers Fendts perform ? Thanks for the video, Mike !!
They really like them.
I'm surprised more guys don't switch to combines other than Deere or Case
Ideal combines do a pretty nice job at chopping corn stalks
depends on the header
Mike, just a question: Is this a food-grade den corn or strictly a fead corn, and what makes the difference?
This corn is most likely going for feed or ethanol.
show
Thnak you Mike for a great video
Cab Corn makes Views!😂😂😂👍🏻
Great video!
This is one of my good friends family farm know him for years and very good people
Another great video, I did see what I believe to be a fendt T7 near Salisbury Wiltshire England
Great vid Mike. Looks like they've become the Men In Black!
Saludos desde Costa Rica la cosechadora Fendt es enorme
A combine that size and price you would think it could run a lot faster than that. Maybe they are just taking it easy so they won't plug the chopper.
Great vidio as always.
Yes that DT and J&M look great.
I'm heading home tomorrow. Another 30 days and we will be planting corn.
Safe travels,
about the cab corn; i like the contrast of the yellow kernels on the gray paint regardless what caused it
Great vídeo Mike.
Great Video
Nice video Mike. Great catch of the competition also!! lol
Great. Well done.
Another good video. Starting at the 14:50 mark, who is performing the music? What a good match for the video.
Mike, if I know you, you were itchin' and/or twitchin' to jump in that DT610 & grain cart to offload that combine and load up the trucks! Just for the sake of the video of course 😀
At about the 20:27 mark, see the critter escape from in front of the corn head?
Hey Mike, whats the song at 15:36? Awesome video as always!
Stealth Black fleet(except for Versatile)..... Cab Corn on 9T(it happens)..... 👍
So the machines seem to now shred the waste. How do you collect it now or don’t you ? Can’t make bails ?
If they wanted to bale the corn stalks/fodder for bedding they still could. Most of the farms that don't raise livestock just let the residue stay on the field and most will work it under after harvest.
@@farmhandmike hi Mike, thanks for answering so quickly. I have learnt something new !
✌️✌️✌️
Should be a requirement to dump a little cyorn for the beirds. lol
heu Mike for us that are not farmers how is a bushel campaigned to a lb of pounds?
Corn in the midwest is generally around 60 pounds a bushel. Test weight can very though and the moisture of the corn at harvest makes a difference.
@@farmhandmike Ty was not sure have not helped any one farm in like 40 years
Some of my passwords include cabcorn.
Ask Mike Mitchell what he things about Fendt Ideal combines lol
