The main issue seems to be the problem of a replacement QB for Rodgers.They just didn’t plan on Rodgers getting hurt and having to sit out the season.They need to do more building for this team to become a top tier contender in the NFL.Getting Rodgers was definitely a start to that building process.

Nobody is blaming the Jets for giving Aaron Rodgers what he wanted. The blame belongs with Aaron Rodgers for asking the team to sign players and coaches because they’re his friends and not because they give the team the best chance to win.
You got to place blame on the GM too; he signed off on all of the aforementioned, didn't address the lack of depth as well as injuries on the offensive side of the ball, and had the owner and the rest of the front office cosign on the moves and lack thereof
