One of the few Tiktok accounts I’ve missed since deleting my account. Beyond happy to be able to see you indulge in your passion and show off your incredible talent!!! I will always be excited to see what progress you make on existing projects, as well as any new work you produce! MAX RANDOLPH FTW!!!!!
I love the way you talk about the things you create. Creativity and creation, for me, is part of a spiritual process. So hearing another maker be so passionate and forward about what they make, and seeing it in action--is just awesome. Your work is phenomenal, and I can only hope one day I can be half the smith you are. You've earned my sub 100x over.
Oh thank you so much Heyden!! That means a lot to me!! You should join my Discord and/or Patreon community, it’s full of creative people sharing their passions, projects, tips, and just lots of fun! We’d love to have you!
I am absolutely blown away by your work, it is out of this world. I and many others I imagine would live to be your apprentice.😂keep up the immaculate work my friend. Respect from French blacksmith.
One thing I will have to do is add to my bucket list, is to see these doors in person, just to take it the beauty and design, to touch the cold steal door handles, and know I've held the doors to heavens gate, thank you Max for sharing your talents with us, I feel honoured that I am able to see work as spectacular and stunning as yours 👍🏼👍🏼🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘Cheers from Melbourne Australia
You are such a unique artist I’ve never seen a door like this just in the historical films I really love to see more of your art cause this is not just a work
With the doors, stone brick & train it looks just like a scene from the movie little nemo adventures in slumberland…. All time favorite childhood movie🥰🥰🥰
@@Max_Randolph_Studios I can't wait! Most of my orders are knives. Most of my regular blacksmithing work is for my own entertainment, keep these idol hands movin lol
Always look forward to one of your videos, such amazing work and showing the world metalwork can be as beautiful as woodwork or glassblowing etc. Can't wait to see what's next on this amazing set of doors.
Sir if the day ever comes that a new cathedral is built in the glorious manner of days gone by, it ought be you who have the honor of designing for it the doors and the locks. Absolutely gorgeous craftsmanship.
Truly one of the most intriguing and beautiful projects I've ever seen I can't wait to see what else is to come from you and your shop! The gods have made a amazing craftsman with one of the most unique brains on the planet🤘🏻 keep up the good work and I'll keep watchin
I can't believe it has taken me so long to find out you have a UA-cam. You just don't see stuff like this. It is so fascinating and inspiring to view your work. Cheers to you
Once again absolutely stunning work! Watching your videos actually makes me feel something it's not just mind numbing content. I love your work keep it up, I live my dreams through you're videos.
As always Max amazing work. So glad you decided NOT to grab that hot hing it was scary for a second lol. And I Love that rounded chisel 😍 did you round it out of a flat or is it an old hole punch?
Hah! It was once a plain old chisel that I rounded to make that line-work tool. You can find tons of them at swap meets and yard sales! I have so many, just in case I need to make a tool like that!
I know your probably get this a lot but you deserve WAYYY more subscribers than what you have now. I just subbed and I know nothing about blacksmithing but it seems so cool.
Do you make any of these to scale for a standard door? Making a Viking door in the woods, a handle and hinge set like this would be insane! Roughly 35” x 80”
Sir, I don't care how big you are, you are a dwarf from legend reincarnated. There can be no other explanation to the detail and craftsmanship you apply to your craft! I mean this as an exceptional compliment that I hope is received as one. Also, upon listening...could I detect a slight nod to the Willow theme track in your music?
I’m really interested in what Max has to say, but the music is too loud for me to make out the words a lot of times. Otherwise, the whole process is magical and mesmerizing, and I love his enthusiasm for his art.
I absolutely love your videos and the projects you take on, but please please please get yourself a lighting expert and don't rely on a camera's auto lighting and auto white balancing.
If I ever win the lotto and build my dream home, you will be one of my first calls. I love your work. Thank you!
That means so much to me!

Perhaps one day! I'm just glad you're here to enjoy it!
Awesome work, truly inspiring. What was the material you used to allow the bars to slide and not contact the wood?
It’s called Delrin! It works great!
Do you make any of these to scale for a standard door? Making a Viking door in the woods, a handle and hinge set like this would be insane! Roughly 35” x 80”
I’ve done all types of doors! Each one is different and unique in design
Love this project! Is there any update?
I’m so glad you like it! It’s currently on hold, waiting for the client to be ready to start it up again.
@@Max_Randolph_Studios thank you for the reply! Your work is truly incredible, thank you for sharing it with the world
What happened to this project? Haven't seen any more videos. Hope you was able to finish it, the designs look incredible!
Great question Sam! I will be returning to the Valhalla Doors soon!! I’m working on an oak tree sculpture right now, and the doors are next!
@@Max_Randolph_Studios camt wait!
Amazing and beautiful work! I cannot remember you saying in a previous video, but where are these Valhalla doors being installed?
Daniels Woodland in Paso Robles CA!
What is used to plate the bar to avoid the grease?
Delrin!
Hey Max, how long does something like this big project take you to make?
This is a pretty big project, I’ve been working on it on and off for the past two years, and it think it will take about another year to complete.
Sir, I don't care how big you are, you are a dwarf from legend reincarnated. There can be no other explanation to the detail and craftsmanship you apply to your craft! That’s a massive compliment! I have immense respect for their work.
What was that black plastic?
It's Delrin, a great wear surface
♡♡♡♡♡
Just for giggles, once the doors are done, I'd call a locksmith or two and pretend I'm locked out - Just to see their reactions^^
Ha 🤣 that is brilliant!
I saw the clip that shows they are...
I’m really interested in what Max has to say, but the music is too loud for me to make out the words a lot of times. Otherwise, the whole process is magical and mesmerizing, and I love his enthusiasm for his art.
I’m glad you are enjoying the content, noted on the music 😉
Who is this for my man
The Valhalla Doors are for a company called Daniels Woodland in Paso Robles.
I just want to be your apprentice
I hope to have an apprentice one day when I have a bigger shop! I do offer an online Apprentice program through Patreon if you are interested!
This video would be so much worse if you added dis tracks throughout this instead of calm and tranquil muse
I'm just here to lust after this man, don't mind me 🥰 💕
Oh hush 😏

Glad you're enjoying them! Yeah it's really tough to film alone, with really difficult indoor outdoor lighting challenges
