First TIme Trying BETEL NUT + Giving Back To Sri Lanka + SAFARI + Local Road SNACKS

- Just a couple travel days combined into one video!!
First a little highlight of the Safari I got to go on which was a lot of fun. No matter what, I got to see some elephants which is always a treat to see!
Then the start of the day at a nice road side stall doing pol roti, a must try when in Sri Lanka!! This lady made some up fresh and they were absolutely delicious with the sambal! After arriving into the city we just had a light meal for dinner before we got rained on!
Now the next day was more than just about the food, but giving back to Sri Lanka. We planted some trees up in the mountain to hopefully help prevent landslides in the future.
After that we went back to a locals home to enjoy some really amazing samosas that had to be the best I had in Sri Lanka. Of course, Supun and I went for some lunch at a local place afterwards as we both were still hungry!

I went to waterfall in Bogor yesterday😍 Everything looks delicious including steamed corn. What a coincidence😁
I tried betel leaves once when I was young, saw my grandpa ate it like a delicious salad...once I had it, I spit like a maniac (mind you, I was a little girl that time)...it was soo bitter, my mouth was numb for hours...it gave me quite a nightmare and when I see you're about to put in it your mouth, I was like "nooooooooo" 😅
hahahahha II had to try it though! wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be. I just couldn't stoop spitting.

Hello Max nicetosee again. That’s an awesome fall and corn fresh from the pot dipped in salt water. Love corn..but I love corn grown in Missouri around Waynesville where I grew up. I could smell what she was preparing. Like I said, you are my eyes and taste buds. Betel nut is one nut to chew hard but yuk I hate it. My uncle loves it back in Philippines. Now let’s eat.

I kept hearing luminous Sambol and I thought you say luminous due to its color. Then I realized what you really meant is "Lunu miris" Sambol. (Lunu = salt and miris = chili). Hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
