- Inside Taliban-Controlled Afghanistan 🇦🇫 Since I started to travel and explore Asia, Afghanistan has always been my dream country. The movies I have watched and the books I have read about Afghanistan have built dreamy expectations in my head of the country that I would not be able to experience anywhere else.
After my first trip in 2023, this year I made another trip to Afghanistan, and as last time, my visit did not disappoint - Afghanistan was time travel from bustling & unorganized bazaars, street shaves, same clothing in different colors, no brands, magnificent landscapes, and the bravest people with the biggest hearts of hospitality.
On my second trip, we covered Kunduz, Kabul & Herat.
Visiting Afghanistan is a sensitive topic for many people. As in any country I go to, the main objective is to share the day-to-day life and spotlight the ordinary people that the mass media fail to capture. No matter how you feel about my trip, here are my impressions as video content.
Despite facing significant challenges, Afghanistan has many positive aspects that deserve recognition: diverse landscapes, rich history, warm hospitality, delicious cuisine, resilient people, and more!
Safety:
This was the biggest concern of many people I have talked to, and naturally, that has been the main worry when you enter a war-torn country over the last 40 years. With the takeover of the Taliban, the country is much safer than before; at least no conflicts are going on.
My Persian surname, which is the same as the current supreme leader of the Taliban, my cultural background, being a man with a +3 years long beard, and looking like one of the locals do not qualify me to talk about safety much when it comes to being a tourist. I had a significant advantage, considering the above.
Disclaimer: This is not a travel advisory. Since the Fall of Kabul in 2021 until the Chinese recognition in 2024, no country has recognized the Taliban as the legitimate government of Afghanistan. There are no formal diplomatic & international relations.

I am an AFGHAN The man in the 23:59 is keep saying (pool na mam _ pool na mam) in Persian (پول نمیخواهم) which mean i dont need money.
He sees you as a spiritual and blessed person, so he wants to touch you. And as you see after touching you, he put his hands on his face like making Dua. Usually they kiss the other person's forehead or hand out of respect, Its something normal in Afghanistan.

Please tell the driver assistant to not throw trash in the streets please. This is second/third video I see him throw things specifically plastic in the middle of the streets.
He's a pashtun what you expect from them. They are the ones that ruined beautiful clean Kabul and now Herat.
I spotted this too.. and was writing a comment when I read yours!
They are really cool guys, and I have told them few times not to throw things out of car too, but it is hard to explain "why not to" part without the fundamental understanding.

I saw that too, in the other video the guy drank the energy drink and just tossed it across whilst the bin was right next to him. The stall vendor then picked it up and binned it.
I’m an Afghan in Australia. I love that you buy from the street vendors even tho you don’t need some of those items. I will be returning to Afghanistan soon insha Allah

@@abusiraat1698 , Afghans are fleeing to western countries in large numbers to this day. They are even risking their lives by rowing across the English channel in dodgy boats in order to claim political asylum. Unless they're simply economic migrants playing the system, hardly the behaviour of people from a "safe" country. I suspect that those who are now praising the Taliban regime in the comment section, have already found sanctuary in the west.

It seems that after the US troops withdrew and the Taliban took over, there seems to be a marked improvement in the law and order situation. Iam impressed by the fact that despite the western sanctions, life is after all going smoothly for the people. A great applause to you and Mr.Noor for bringing forth the good part of the country. But the war has left some unhealed scars no doubt.

Agree with others, I like to see the "road less traveled" by tourists. Been watching for a long time and I even traveled to SL after your first journey there. Noor is a perfect guide. A perfect blend of being local but also not too much translating.
