I disagree with all the other comments. The rotation needs to be FASTER!!! I want them to be pulling a fraction of G, and leaning far forward on their couches to not fly off. If a guest flies off - their point is invalid.

Hey Wes, if you ever need for any reason (and I mean ANY) someone to clean up audio for these, I am willing to help. I've been watching for a while and would love to help clean up audio. I could get rid of the ringing for you and even teach you how if you would like. I am offering this as a fan, not to demotivate you or to really say anything disrespectful, but to say that I support what you are doing and I want to get involved if you are needing it!
But either way, I love these videos. Thank you for covering this. If you need an editor or audio guy, Id love to make this something I could work on with you in the future.
(The ringing can be removed with a linear EQ set to non linear mode with a strong Q curve or having one of the bands set to bandcut, I'll help in any way I can.)

Interesting to see how little Sam knows about de-growth and how he strawmans the whole thing. I know it’s in the nature of the situation that he’s a techno optimist, but to what degree was hitherto not known for me. UBI fits into post-growth economics btw, and de-growth is a necessary stage on the way to post-growth. Prof. Herman Daly has outlined the steady-state model already a long time ago, and yes, we can and will have to use regenerative, circular practices which will be enhanced and optimalized by AI, alongside new scientific discoveries - but we still live on a finite planet, with finite resources with an ever increasing population where the wealth and resources are horded in the global north, there has to be a fair transition where extreme peaks and extreme lows gets more equalized, and grows the middle, there is no way around that, and the real danger is fantasies of eternal, explosive growth due to an all-powerful AI tool that will unlock the secrets of the Universe and hord even more resources and power to just one small part of the world or the pyramid.

maybe the developers are responsible for genocide already...we used to discuss "what would you have done if you saw Hitler before he established his system that led to so many deaths..AI was used by Israeli army to think of tactics to use to hit Suspects and the AI solution was "where's your daddy" and "lavendar" .. used to hit (kill in targetted strike) the SUSPECTS when they are home with their families so they don't have to deal with revenge attacks by sons etc.. maybe the developers are responsible for this genocide.. and the pager attacks in Lebanon against Hezbollah sounds like an AI solution

I love this, but 10 minutes in I'm starting to wonder when the platform stops, does it just come down to who shoots first or most accurately? Or, do they try to decide which one of them should die, and which one gets to leave the circle?

We had tix for this in Turin, but skipped it as last year Sama just did a xoom dial-in (BTW, it was just a normal stage). Bummer.
I didn't imagine that he and Elkann - the grandson and chosen heir of Gianni Agnelli, think Henry Ford's grandson - knew each other. Birds of a feather (i.e., the ultrawealthy) flock together. I wish these guys would reach out to Clarence Thomas. I'd much rather he was sponging off of these two than his current crowd.

Capitalism can work better if incentives from all classes are aligned. Creating a garunteed income from a public wealth fund that pays into a UBI would work IMO. Raise funding through ways that taxes cannot be evaded like VAT on luxury goods, land value taxes, and taking shares as taxation rather than income. The zero sum game perception of capitalism will fade if people understand that they get a bigger check if a company does well. Have the government cut the red tape but harsh on penalising extranalities (another way to fund the public wealth fund).
