I agree with everything you are saying. If you are serious about losing weight/improving/getting stronger at home I do think you need to invest in some things. I don’t go to the gym but I purchased weights, a stepper, discs etc, things I need to become effective at home. I also have equipment like a treadmill and stuff like that. I’ve lost 140 pounds just by changing my diet and hard work, plain and simple. This is great advice you are giving for individuals who want to keep working out at home.
Agreed-adjustable dumbbell are expensive, but with the right budget investing in them can take you a long way. Even a simple squat rack. I know it can be tough depending on the spacing, but great gains can be made at home 💪🏽
I have hEDS and have to make adjustments to most exercises, which can be embarrassing because it looks different from how others do things- all that to say, I work out exclusively at home. Thanks for showing me some new modifications 💛🙂
My pleasure! I would still aim for heavy (5-10 reps) and still full range. I worked up to 215 for my deficit RDL’s and they crush my hamz 😮💨 As well as my good mornings!
I would say I totally agree with the donkey raises, it doesn't do much for my glutes and also the tricep kickbacks. I feel my triceps and glutes being sore the next day if I do dumbbell tricep extensions and different variations of bridges. 😊
It is just easier for me to work out at home. I used to be really "fit" 10 years ago (70kg, 6'0), but now i am obese (115kg). I would like to know what equipment a beginner should invest in for at home workouts. I really want to build muscles. I was once muscular, but im looking at this new chapter of fitness like a novice.
I love this content-love the beauty, too (only recently discovered your channel)! Have you ever considered iFIT? I think you’d be an incredible trainer, as you remind me of some of my favorites. Seriously, they would benefit from your knowledge, expertise, and charisma. IJS. ❤ ETA: I know you’re already a trainer, I mean joining iFIT as a trainer while retaining your existing personal training. More people need to see you! 😊
This video needs more views… ppl need to focus on mobility and health and less about makeup (i love makeup don’t get me wrong but physical health is where its at)
