Alicia, you have definitely changed the game for me with this demo of both the Danessa and Lisa's skin tints. I have danessa's in number 9 and her concealer in number 9 but I'm definitely going to incorporate Lisa's skin tint and blend them together for the absolute perfect cocktail!!!! This really really helped me and saved me some coins Thanks so much ❤❤❤

I have and did really like both! I prefer the finish and undertone of the LE skin tint over DM’s Yummy skin tint. BUT something in LE’s skin tint is irritating to my skin and the top of my nose and the area around my mouth inevitably gets itchy, tight, and flaky.😢 I have to give a shoutout to LE’s customer service people, though. In these days of mediocre and apathetic customer service, stellar service should be recognized.

Do you think it could be the salicylic acid that is in the LE skin tint?

I love the idea of combining both the LE and DM skin tints. Also need to try combining the DM blurring balm and the skin tint. Both look amazing! I will definitely try this, thank you for the ideas! Excellent for helping me use my products instead of having them sit. ❤️

I had to stop the video and share my fave before hearing yours just to see if we love the same product. I love Danessa Myricks, but her complexion products in the medium deep range are always way way way too warm. Lisa Eldridge offers an option with an olive undertone, and I absolutely love it!! The shade, finish, and wear time are all great. I’m not worried about coverage (although LE’s skin tint evens me out) because imperfections are a part of life. LE tops my list of favorite skin tints. That said, I fix Danessa’s skin tint by adding the tiniest dot of her deep royal blue color fix. It works!😊
Ok, I’m returning to your wonderful post now.

Love a skin tint. Moved away from foundation as I got older and I am ecstatic there are so many great skin tint options on the market. Lisa Eldridge is my pick.

Thank you for this. I have the DM balm and the LE skintint. Definitely combine them together!
Thank you also for putting my feet’s back on the ground for NOT WANTING the Serum tint but stick to my overwhelming make-up stash and use it up before buying a new product🙏🏻🙏🏻

Thank you so much for this, I don’t have the yummy skin but I have the blurring balm and the LE skin tint. It’s great to know the blurring balm doesn’t break the LE down, so I’m excited about shopping my own stash and getting creative!

I don’t have LE’s skin tint but I use DM and I cocktail it often. I really like the DM concealer. I use it really often. I have three shades of DM Yummy Skin Tint. I like doctoring the colour with DM Colorfix, other skin tints, touches of BB Cream, a soupçon of foundation.

Alicia, you either have some magical lighting or your cheeks have an amazing color/reflect no matter what tint/foundation you put on. I've noticed it in other videos, but it really shows here. No wonder your blush always looks so great, you skin there is just beautiful. I like the LE better on you but the mix is also nice and the blurring balm made it all so gorgeous. I love the LE skin tint so much, matches are great and the look is great even on maturing skin. I'm so grateful you mentioned the Prada, I was tempted, but now I'm not so Thank You. Your artistry with so many products & tools is maybe the best on this platform.

I felt similar about the Lisa Eldridge foundation sample that I recieved. I much preferred the Hourglass foundation. But the LE skin tint is now my ride or die and I may have found a hack. I attended a wedding this weekend where I needed a bit more glam, and I put the LE skin tint under my LE foundation (almost like a primer), and that made a WORLD of a difference in the finish.

Interesting take on these two products that for me are quite different from one another. Personally I don’t mix them on my skin. But since the LE skin tint is so super versatile I don’t doubt it can be done. For me the LE skin tint has won in terms of what I tend to reach for. But mostly also because of colour. I dot. Have a perfect shade match in the DM lineup and they also do oxidise on me quite a bit. But apart from that I do like the finish of it. It is though more of a traditional tinted moisturiser texture wise - which I don’t think the LE skin tint is at all.
First when I got the LE one I did not really like it at all. I also had a very hard time figuring out the colours of the skin tint as they are by no means traditional. They are like Alicia says a lot more neutral and neutral olive leaning. And if you approach that fact with a traditional mind set you will get lost. In essence I find with the LE tints is that they are meant to balance up your skin tone to neutralise if you will your own skin tone and make your undertone more levelled out. And it is excellent therefor at neutralising redness. It evens out redness better than most foundations with more coverage even. As it doesn’t work by covering up. But by neutralising the unevenness in your own skin tones. So the LE formula is a more innovative one, if you ask me. Also in terms of consistency. When I first used it I also felt it was too thin and too little moisturising for my dry skin and I did get some gathering around the nose and some flaky ness during the day. Until I discovered that it is a total shapeshifter depending on what level of moisturising you put on underneath. In essence you can make it appear matte or dewy depending on what you use under it. Which makes it magic to me. It also doesn’t oxidise at all on me. One last thing about the LE that I like so much is that it glides on without you having to faff with it at all. You can just spread it out with your fingers and it sits perfectly. No rubbing, or buffing which is great and important if you use sunscreen underneath. As most foundations and tinted moisturisers you need to massage, rub or buff onto the skin will also disrupt the sun screen filter. But since the LE skin tint glides on so thinly and effortlessly you don’t get that problem… The DM needs a bit more massaging and if used with a brush - buffing.. Now I would have loved the DM yummy skin too too had I found a perfect match for my skin. But since you use that more like a traditional tinted moisturiser it also becomes more important to find a good match. In the LE lineup I have been able to make several of the colours work, which is weird in itself. But I credit that to the complete difference in how they work with the skins own tones to balance them as opposed to cover or change them. Which is quite unique in my opinion.
One product though that is soooo underrated is the DM blurring balms, I love that product and have completely quit powders since discovering that, it works for every blurring or matifying need without ever feeling dry or causing flakiness on the skin. It is truly a dry skin gals best friend and replacement for powder. The super innovative technique of the Upsalite ingredient is that instead if utilising absorbing powders that attract moisture to themselves that then evaporate and disappear, (which is great for oily skin types that they do but often a problem for people with dry skin, as it tends to soak up more moisture than needed depleting the skin on its plumpness during the day… The Upsalite method is instead to utilise teeny tiny little micro sponges that attract the surplus moisture on the skin. But since they are sponges they not on,y attract moisture to themselves, they also manages to hold on to it which can during the day help the skin to stay replenished instead of depleted. Miraculous! Love Love Love!! ❣️

There are dyes that are the same as if you didn't wear makeup. If I wear makeup, it's so that my spots don't show, mainly if not, I would apply a moisturizer and that's it. I feel that Danessa's fulfills its function much better in my opinion.

I'm in love with the LE Skintint I also have shade 10 wish it was slightly warmer I think I'm gonna order 11 and mix for my skintone but still great. I also have the DM never use it I don't like it probably cause somehow I got sent shade 6 and its way to light for me i know i didn't choose 6 I think i chose 8 so I never use it . Whatever that Suqqu shade is it looks like a perfect match for me , I need to get that shade and put it on my list for when I finally order Suqqu it looks beautiful. Haven't tried the DM concealer I have been using the VB concealer abunch and the Westman also love the Chanel Sub concealer but I haven't used it lately because the packaging sucks and I just reach for the other 2 more now because they are quick. I also hate LE org foundation it's just not for me . U look beautiful as always and also putting out great info.
I have the yummy skin balm the hydrating one in my cart the Lowkey shade of the low light and her brown pallet. I'm about to order them . I tried to order that primer sense the last sale and it literally just came back in stock a few weeks ago which is crazy .

I just finally invested in the Lisa E skintint. I was waiting to see how people liked it a little further down the line. For science, as far as cocktailing goes, CeraVe hydrating sunscreen, let it soak in, then I use a dollup of Lisa's elevated glow, with a couple drops of my Mac studio radiance for a really nice balanced skin. We use what we have! 😊
