GHENA DIMITROVA❤👍
Dimitrova powerful and Carroli a great verdian bariton !
Gracias, gracias
Real voices! Thank you very much for sharing.
Ghena un fiume in piena
Sempre generosissima, Ghena ...
Meravigliosa recita Grazie mille
Luis Lima broke my heart again
many thanks for this treasure
Bravo Luis Lima
GRAZIEEEEE
Nicola Ghiuselev
WE ARE LOOKING FOR THEM GENA DIMITROVA, GYAUROV ...
The sleeping walking scene: I wonder where her concentration went. The vocalization and emission were on point, but she screwed up quite a lot. But she's forgiven. : )
One of the best choruses by Verdi - "Ondine e silfidi", has been cut. The ballet is missing too. It's a shame!
Wow. The Sleepwalking Scene is an absolute train-wreck! Good God, what happened???
Wow Dimitrova's decline began really early. A few years prior to this, she was tearing it up in Verona.
She had been singing professionally for almost 20 years at this point. I wouldn't call that early. People forget that she only came to international prominence when she was in her 40s and well into her career. She had been singing in the 1970s throughout parts of Europe and South America before the English-speaking world discovered her through those Verona videos in the early 80s. And she doesn't sound in decline here to me. The sleepwalking scene is off; otherwise, she's all there. Lady Macbeth is a very difficult role that few can get through unscathed.
