There's nothing better than this incredibly beautiful music sung by great singers. My mother began playing classical music in our home in 1953, when we bought our first Voice of Music record player, during the 33 rpm era. I was about six years old and grew up in this environment thanks for to my mother. When I was about ten, I discovered the voice of Mario Lanza and played his recording of "The Student Price" over and over. Mom didn't mind. She was happy I was drawn to great music. I still have all the LPs she bought. At the age of 15, I discovered the voice of Jussi Björling and it changed my life. I have been enthralled with his voice for more than 60 years. In 1999, Classic CD magazine published a ranking of the 100 greatest singers of the 20th century in all voice categories based on the opinions of 25 music critics. Jussi ranked #1. Luciano Pavarotti, another singer I greatly admired, was once asked how his voice compared that of the Swedish tenor. He replied, "please, I'm only human." Since 1998, I have been a member of the Jussi Björling Society -USA and have attended many conferences in the U.S. and Sweden and met many great artists who sang with him, most now departed. I even met his wife, Anna-Lisa, and children, Anders, Lars, and Ann-Charlotte.
Thank you for your story. Very interesting to follow from you young age. Jussi Björling had a soft voice as tenor, he did not show how "hard" the songs were to sing, so did another swedish singer sing, his name were; Nikolai Gedda.
I was crying in my room, with scars and bruises, and He heard my cry to Him, I got healed, I have a stable job and a healthy pregnant wife! And we're expecting a boy, and it's all because of Him. Praise the good ol' God
Knowing that millions across the world listen to and love opera gives us all hope that the world is not lost and that it will survive through war, pestilence and changing weather patterns.

I grew up with opera and classical music. Back in the sixties I was into rock and roll. Somehow the classical music was in my veins and I absolutely love it. I tear up listening to opera like my dad used to do. Just loving this. Thank you
I echo your feelings. I too grew up with Opera being played (on 12" 78rpm records) and they are now part of me. How I wish I could go and listen to Maria Callas live once again.

The pearl fisher's duet makes me cry every time. I'm in TEARS. Vissi d'Arte also, but even if Cabaille (here) sings it perfectly, Tosca was made for Maria Callas, she's the only who can make me cry on this song!
I really love when people try to learn our language as it is not easy! so I hope you don't mind a slight correction? Spectacular (no K) and it is 'feel yourself' but still not quite right. I think "count yourself lucky to hear this wonderful music" is perhaps better but, of course, it is up to you. Thank you.
There's something special about human voices that touch our hearts. Like no other instruments. what beautiful arias by masters of voice. Thank you for sharing this compilation. ☘💚
I love love it! Too few LIKES! this should have a thousand! (well, can't make people like quality music, they like the popular genres and are unaware of these masterpieces)
after many sleepless nights feeling like I had to grow up too fast, this playlist helps me relive the better of my childhood and gives me so much seretonin. thank you so so much :)
Nothing entrances me the way opera does. Nothing, I believe, gives life it's fullest joy the way Nessun Dorma sung by Pavarotti. The soaring Vincero at it's last notes must be what heaven sounds like.
Here you go: 1) O Mio Babbino Caro: Montserrat Caballe 2) Il Barbiero Di Siviglia: Gianpiero Ruggeri 3) Die Zauberflote: Elena Mosuc 4) La Boheme: Montserrat Caballe 5) L'elisir D'amore: Vittorio Grigolo 6) Rigoletto: Vittorio Grigolo 7) Tosca: Vittorio Grigolo 8) Le nozze di Figaro: Non piu andrai, Alan Titus 9) Casta Diva: Montserrat Caballe 10) Un Ballo in Maschera: Vittorio Grigolo .... I am sorry, I really could not do more, ... arias selection is ok, but performances are far from something I really wanted to listen to. For many hours of good, enjoyable opera go to ua-cam.com/video/g4LOpDVkzD0/v-deo.html
Jackie
Raccolta molto, molto bella. Grazie.
A selection of classical music that will definitely address the intellect of the listener. You chose arias from world-famous operas, which were covering voices of perfectionf: soprano, tenor, baritone,. basso; etc. I enjoyed every single aria. Thank You!
This beautiful collection playing whilst working...and me singing along to most. Now I miss my days of performing. Thank you very much - I absolutely love it
Do you identify any of the divas? Music is through the diva, not just notes, not just non-human instruments. I'm plotting out the rest of the 23-24 season, now. The first thing I check is if I won't be pained by the opera. The second thing is who is the diva. Time as you know degrades nearly all voices; so I look for current recordings online to prove to me that she has the chops, now. Tickets seem to be easily available; but being held in the bosom of a fabulous diva is at least for me the reason to be present. Sadly, the best imho perform rarely in the US.. Met, SF Opera, and even more rarely at the LA Opera. (No, Santa Fe is not the hotbed of amazing talent, but SF's competitions are just that, and tickets are $25-85, dirt cheap.) In the fall in Western Europe are the old and young best divas. So, their names here are seriously missing.
I do dislike some solists, but the choirs are always top level. Thank you for these old versions, it is useful to compare with the way there are sung nowadays.
I didn’t recognize the voice of Pavarotti in any of these arias! Nesum dorma was sung ( not so good) by someone unknown to me. However the orchestra was very good in the recording. I did recognize Jussi Björling (100% sure) in 2 songs, Leoncavallo Pagliaci and also Bizet , the Pearfishers duet with baritone Robert Merlin!

The pearl fisher's duet makes me cry every time. I'm in TEARS. Vissi d'Arte also, but even if Cabaille (here) sings it perfectly, Tosca was made for Maria Callas, she's the only who can make me cry on this song!
Comparisons are moronic and very unfair to the other performer. It's all so subjective anyway.

Nothing to add really. Thank you some beauty left in our sick world run by idiots with mobile phones as their crutch.
I'm having a bad moment in my life! It brings me peace, love and hope. Wonderful!
❤❤❤
I love love it! Too few LIKES! this should have a thousand! (well, can't make people like quality music, they like the popular genres and are unaware of these masterpieces)
You can't 'educate' people who listen to wrap 'music' whatever that is....
So beautiful, and wonderful music. Thank u all
after many sleepless nights feeling like I had to grow up too fast, this playlist helps me relive the better of my childhood and gives me so much seretonin. thank you so so much :)

Minunate voci , minunată interpretare 👍💯♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹✋✋
Maravillosas obras maestras, un regalo a nuestro espíritu y a nuestros oídos, gracias miles. Esta música se eterniza en el tiempo.
Desde México saludos y bendiciones, excelente música
Hermosas, poderosas, majestuosas, también primorosas voces!😃🥰😥👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Nothing entrances me the way opera does. Nothing, I believe, gives life it's fullest joy the way Nessun Dorma sung by Pavarotti. The soaring Vincero at it's last notes must be what heaven sounds like.
As I commented before, beautiful selection, but one not always recognize the singer's voices. Would be interesting if they would be included.
I just came to say the same. The artists need recogition.
Here you go:
1) O Mio Babbino Caro: Montserrat Caballe
2) Il Barbiero Di Siviglia: Gianpiero Ruggeri
3) Die Zauberflote: Elena Mosuc
4) La Boheme: Montserrat Caballe
5) L'elisir D'amore: Vittorio Grigolo
6) Rigoletto: Vittorio Grigolo
7) Tosca: Vittorio Grigolo
8) Le nozze di Figaro: Non piu andrai, Alan Titus
9) Casta Diva: Montserrat Caballe
10) Un Ballo in Maschera: Vittorio Grigolo
....
I am sorry, I really could not do more, ... arias selection is ok, but performances are far from something I really wanted to listen to. For many hours of good, enjoyable opera go to ua-cam.com/video/g4LOpDVkzD0/v-deo.html
@@dusanj8295 A great start! Thank you so much.

Jackie
Extraordinary, what a singer.
Raccolta molto, molto bella. Grazie.
Queen of the Night....stunning. I have been looking for such a collection...what a GIFT!!!

Arias,
This is heaven on Earth! Thanks for the beautiful selection❤
25 wunderschöne Opernarien haben
mich an meinem Arbeitstag begleitet... Danke 👍🤗
Absolutely beautiful. I was brought up with classical music. I love it. Thank you.
Great playlist. Would've loved to know who the talented singers are.
Just loving it❤
Beautiful voices, a fireplace burning, candle light , flowers; lost with today’s society fine dining and ballroom- have lost to today’s society
Very pleasurable. PLEASE add the singers!
Have become addicted to opera in recent weeks - this is terrific!
Opera is addictive, lol! full of emotion and poetry
Keep going,m there’s an endless universe of beauty out there for you to discover.

Que be ho hem passat amb tots vosaltres al Gran Teatre del Liceu , Jo sempre he estat , i , segueixo al mig del cinque pis a on estan tots els critics musicals de la opera , la acustica es inmillorable ❤
These wonderfulness will quench and moisturize the dryness of the soul, an evoke comfortable feelings and nostalgic feelings
Děkuji Vám 🤍🕊️
