  • This is a singles set between me and Anastasiia (aka Nastya) and our first time playing each other in singles! Nastya has an aggressive game with big shots from the baseline.     I was run to death by a guy who was nationally ranked in the 75 and over. He could place the ball on a dime with a twinkle in his eye every time.

    A girl I was once courting learned tennis way ahead and had me run all over the court. The embarrassment made tennis my sport as I secretly trained hoping to get even. In succeeding games, I managed to win a few and made her really sweat on the games I lost.

      @heavyblue4985 According to Andy Riddick, only players who live from the sport should be called pros, but he started somewhere and to even play the tournaments she played require a lot of dedication, professionalism among other things.

    I was at the Nadal Academy getting some tips. She takes “throwing the racket” to a whole ‘nother level. Every bit of stored energy she unleashes into the ball, it’s amazing.

    This woman has a pretty good playstyle but, as you can see her backhand is slightly bad because she kept using forehand the whole time even when she had the chance to use backhand and when she couldn't use a forehand she used a drop shot, but overall she's so good and has very good control

      Maybe junior pro? Maybe we just can’t see her abilities because she’s not being pushed. He hit every ball short and down the middle. Doesn’t require anything fancy to control the point if the ball is handed to u like that

    I counted 4 times where you just hit the ball right back to her. If you don't want her to run you so much, hit winners. Even if you miss, at least then win or lose the point is on your racquet...

    Maybe if you dont want to get dominated stop returning your shots only as deep as the service line.... this is when he losses control of the point.... its almost if I am a qualified tennis coach.

    Either you just wanted to keep the ball in play or you were overwhelmed by her strokes that you returned all the shots to the middle of the court, there was no depth. Also, your backswing is kinda light. You give the impression of someone who just wants to play passive strokes i.e. like a tennis coach feeding his student extra rally balls.

      @@Yoofi26lots of em. The fact that he was able to hit back to back shots with an ATP pro alone is amazing, his footwork is neat. Overall he's 4.5-5'ish which is great. I didn't write those things to degrade him, it would have been great dishonesty if I had skipped those points.
