Man it’s a very nice project.
Thanks for take the time for filming and sharing.
Thanks for watching and the feedback! 👍🏻
Giving the guys at 4 eyes credit for inspiration is a class act!
Thanks Ryan! Gotta give credit where it’s due! 👍🏻
Great bed, great project. But I like it better non black…😅
I found that if sink those bed rail brackets 1/32 - 1/16" you get a sturdier fit than if you mount them flush. But man, what a gorgeous design, I prefer the natural over the black but, both a beauties!!
Thanks for your input! This was my first time using the brackets so I was figuring it out as I go. Sinking them in makes sense that it would pull the joint tighter 👍🏻
@@mmcc_woodshop6288 You're welcome, it is a beautiful bed, much nicer than anything I can build.
I just made the moon fry bed from foureyes too. Lovely design.
Nice! It’s a beautiful design for sure 👍🏻
Nice job Mark. My girl likes to Harvey all the time. Thanks
Thanks! 👍🏻
Great presentation and dialogue. Cool tips as well. Thanks for posting.
Thanks Jeff!

So good... Well done!
Thank you!
Great bed!
Thanks! 👍🏻
Hi Matt,
After a year, how do the not glued loose dowel joints behave? Would you make any changes? Thank you!
They’ve worked perfectly. All the panels have contracted/moved very slightly (maybe 1/4”ish), and there are no cracks anywhere within the panels or frame. Everything is still pinned tightly and nothing has come loose 👍🏻
Fucking awesome!!! As usual my friend!!!!
Thanks Michael! 👍🏻
Wonderful work and video - will follow the growth of your channel with extreme interest. I'm curious - how many hours in total did the bed take to make?
Thanks! I didn’t keep track but I would estimate between 20-25ish hrs.
How tight is the hardware? Do those metal cleats pull the joint tight?
The hardware needs to be as tight as possible when it’s attached. As long as they line up properly it’s incredibly sturdy. Anyway downward pressure/weight will only make the joint more secure 👍🏻
Beautiful ❤❤!!!
Thanks Alejandro!
