I'm so glad to see your reaction to this. That moment where the stick clicks caught you off guard was fantastic 😂 Aric is one of most artistically creative drummers out there. Night Verses actually underwent an interesting change a couple years ago. They had a singer for a while, the singer left, and they decided to carry on as an instrumental three-piece. And many would argue it's their best work yet. NV is the only band I can think of that has a "lead drummer." He does such unusual stuff. I've seen interviews and he quotes Kobe Bryant, James Brown and his love for skateboarding as inspiration for the way he plays. I follow him on IG and he posts daily videos of new ideas and sounds and arrangements he's playing with. His style is captivating and dynamic. There's nobody else innovating the way he is right now. I privately sent you a link to a song he recently did with Justin Chancellor from Tool and it's wild, to say the least. So glad you enjoyed this and I can't recommend the rest of his work enough. I could watch him play for hours. And I have. He's at the top of the heap. 🤘
@@aaronhansen5101 agreed. It's weird, because their old material was good. Like... Very good. But as soon as they went instrumental, they became unreal. Something about the freedom to experiment with soundscapes and vocal clips makes it so much more interpretative and interesting. From the Gallery of Sleep is in my top 10 albums of the past decade, without a doubt. Each member of the band is on some next-level shit. I follow them all and I love watching them grow as artists. But man, Aric has charisma for miles. He has amazing chops, but he is also a top-tier performer and his visual art is equally impressive. It's a crime they aren't more well known.
@@SteveOGRock good and thank you..i'm waiting, hopefully there will be many audiences who will be present to witness the phenomenal reaction of oki fadhlan's drum skills

Me too! Aric is f’ng phenomenal. I personally love that Night Verses went full on instrumental. Cannot wait to hear what they come up with next.

Wow. That was bad ass. As always - loved your reaction. :)
Thanks for saying so, Tara!
His attention deficit series has some of the most random and crazy things I've seen on a kit.
