Great video Gene , as per the othe comment, there is a guy on you tube that shows how to make a preheat cup , also I think he uses a 200a generator ( don't quote me on that ) but this conversion is on my list .
You should really invest in a kerosene lantern. Something like a Coleman 201. They have the generator preheating cup built into them so you don’t have to carry a blowtorch around with you and drill a hole into your globe. All you do is fill the cup with alcohol, light it with a match, then 30 seconds later light the mantles. It’s a lot easier than what you’re trying to do. They also burn brighter than a white gas lantern with kerosene in it because they’re actually designed to burn that fuel.
