OUTSTANDING. This is one of the most useful, informative videos I have ever seen. I have been wondering how to do this very thing, and now I know. I'm going to purchase a larger generator because I want to be able to run the A/C in case of an emergency, as Vegas summertimes are unbearable without it.
Very helpful video. Researching solar generation vs gas. The Honda is a basic simple operation and I see now how easy it is to power home if needed, although I may not be using for the house at least at this point. Thanks for the clear instructions!
I can run my gas furnace with a 1/2 hp motor with it easily. One tip; set the fan on your furnace to "on", instead of "auto", while you're using the generator. You won't have the surge requirement each time the motor starts, so you can run other items like your refrigerator, some lights, etc. as well, without danger of overload.

GREAT video 👍
Thank you!
Nice video!
Nice job!
I wonder if I can get a transfer panel in my condo here in Florida? So many hurricanes here this would be perfect for basic needs.
Could you run a gas furnace off this?
I used a small home light 1800 watt generator to power our oil furnace through -50 degree power outage.
