*100% best **Generater.Systems** I have used. A test for hurricane prep here in Louisiana: three AC units, 5000, 5000 & 8000, 3 fridges, 2 device power setups, 4 flat screens....AND I had 40% of the power meter to spare.*
We have used the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y for probably 30 hours with our camper and it’s been great! The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!
My EU2200i purchased in the UK in 2020 has no reference to a "spark arrestor" in the manual and it isn't included in the muffler assembly. Is this a US requirement that simply doesn't exist in the EU model or was it phased out?
There’s no mention of a “break-in” anywhere in the service or owners manual. There’s a maintenance schedule and as for the oil, the recommendation is first oil change at 1 month or 20 hrs of operation. I asked the Honda dealer where I bought the 2200i and he said Honda breaks in all of their engines. Then drains the oil, and ships them “dry”. As for the oil, guess I’m just a stickler for the rules. I use whatever Honda recommendation is, my rule is their engineering Dept has more metrics in what works than any bro science out there. Just my opinion tho,
ran it on oil for a i-power generator for the first half hour on mid octane and then the next half hour on premium octane and then blended the two for the next 19 hours before changing the oil. running it now only on low octane. only see ATV oil. probably sticking to the manufacture's oil.
I would add a magnetic dip stick to these units... sure saves the carbon from getting in to the open crank bearings!! also see the yahoo group eu2200i for more info!! including parallel cords and tie in for home backup! as well as natural gas and lp gas conversions!! groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Honda_EU2200_Generators/info

I used to write SOP's and produce training videos. This is very good.

Great video! This inspired me to make my generator videos.
Ive seen yours too!! Good idea testing the CO minder in the Kabota!! Glad you showed how to bypass the CO minder if it acts up!
@1:59 > It makes absolutely no sense to use a dipstick when the oil level is up into the screws of the fill port. Do they think we are all blind....?
Have you ever met a human? 😂 We can be kind of dumb.
Step 1: Peel all warning stickers off the machine and stick them to your forehead.

Very diverse video by Honda...
Is the spark plug socket size 5/8” or 13/16” (21mm)? I’ve been getting different information
does Honda have a recommended break in period for a new generator ?
@Ricky Ricardo with T6 oil that engine will last forever 👍

How long is the warm up period on these generators?
Where did the 12 volt plug go it was on the 2000
Great Basic Info.Thank You.Appreciated.
I want this generator, I don’t need it just want it !
Why don't you rinse off the soap when cleaning the air filters?
At the 3:11 mark they say to “rinse with water” the air filters.
Is this inverter generator 2200i available in India with the Honda India subsidiary.
No anti-seizing compound for the spark plug?
NGK recommends installing dry - the metal in the threads provides an anti-seize surface, according to their website.
What is the cost and watt ?
Thank you

I've always wondered why fine-wire sparkplugs are not recommend by manufacturers; platinum & iridium's. Just curious, anyone know?
Fine-wire spark plugs are much more expensive, and they don't help much in most applications like this.
Why Honda doesn't make diesel engine portable generator?
Honda makes a 12,000 watt (12K) generator with model number Honda EB12D. The generator is a beast, weighing in at over 700 lbs.
Cute and accurate

I bought a magnetic dip stick for that very reason. 👍
How money ?
Awesome
12nm was an important info not in the manual
does anyone no why they soak the filters in oil
Superior contaminant capture, use an air filter oil as engine oil isn't designed for this purpose.
@@antpart7998I beg to differ. My (2018) manual specifically mentions engine oil. Fact.

Dude looks like a lady🎵🎶
It’s a girl
Why are they so white🤔
It's a dudet dude!😂

Who the hell still uses ounces?
I do all the time. My measuring containers all show metric and imperial for that reason.
Right at least give metric as well as oz.
