Today Rick shows you guys the Super Pro Front Lower Control Arms for the 2002-2007 WRX/STI. This is a great upgrade for the cars that came with the steel arms from the factory. It is still a good upgrade for those guys with cars that came with OEM aluminum arms. No worrying about fussing with pressing in and out bushings, these just bolt right in. With new end links and an included anti-lift kit you can't go wrong.
Will this fit my 02 wrx wagon ? please respond.thanks
Well the stock front arms are the same shape from 95 Impreza to 07..
Only difference is that the STI's after 2001 has got aluminium arms, but same mounting points.
Even same on Foresters and legacy's
I need this for a Dodge Durango 🤨🤔
Click the first link in the video description to get the current price. We don't want to list any pricing in the comments because the price can change at any time. Thanks.
If you want that to look good down the road, you should cerakote or clear coat the aluminum, especially up North (Salt). I had a set of King Shocks that got ruined in 1 Winter season and I sprain it down with water as often as I could
Dude cerakote would look so amazing on these! I don't know why I've never thought of that. :)
Thanks!
Rick
@@rallysportdirect Yes it would and I think it would really protect the parts from salt. I crashed an 04 Impreza Wagon that came from Vermont last week because the lower A-Arm fell apart from Rust. It was made from Steele and I knew my car was rusty but I did not know to what extend.
hey so i got these control arms and for some reason their are a big washer and a smaller washer but for some reason the smaller washer feels like it will split the bushing if i tighten it to the 190nm ? i noticed in this video u have 2 large washers ???
hmm that is odd, I'm sure you know this, but just to make sure, the larger washer goes on first towards the control arm with the protrusion face in towards the bushing. Then on the bughing itself, there is one side which has slightly larger diameter and that goes towards the washer you put on, then the smaller washer goes on with the protrusion facing towards the bushing. With those installed like that, the bushing will be squeezed, but eventually the washers will bottom out on the metal insert and you can torque to spec. Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Rick
Oh also, here is their instructions(they are not the best) 61bfba21cfb27d3414b0-33d79809264fd8f465f395acab527149.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/spp_aloy0004K.pdf
