For the life of me I cant get the newly installed lower control arm to reach the ball joint that is in the knuckle once installed. Am I missing something because no matter what I try it's impossible to reach the ball joint? Did I over extend my cv axle?

Does the new control arm have any bolts that are required to be adjusted in an alignment? Can you do this install without realigning the front end?
If you disconnect the sway bar from the control arm you wouldn't have to fight it when trying to pop the ball joint out.
