Super pro isn’t the most bling bling but what I’ve learned is that they make a damn good product. Just got a pitch mount from them, beats buying a beatrush forged piece!
Nice DIY. I just put on a set of SPCs. My toe was so off after the install that my rear end was wobbling and shimmying the whole ride to the alignment shop.
Nice video been wanting to do this with some new coilovers wasn't sure how hard it would be, looks straightforward like you said.. keep up the good work man 🤙
Do you think these coils will allow me to correct my camber back to 0 degrees? I am running -3 degrees “naturally” from Coilovers and I’m not sure which one to get. I’m planning on either these or Cusco. Again my goal with an LCA is to correct my camber back to 0 degrees. Thanks again man.
Bolts 1,3,4 59ftlbs. Bolt 2 25ftlbs. Although, I would tighten them tighter as I felt these specs weren’t enough for something as important as control arms.
Scoobyfreak86 thank you! that’s what i just read too and it seemed kind of low. would you say there is any risk in tightening bolts 1,3,4 to around 80-90ftlbs?
@@Henry-yb7sk I read about 75-80 for the bigger bolts I remember when I did my coilovers. I over torque one and snapped the bolt lol at 115 pounds. Read up and found it be 75-80
@@Autofreakgarage mhmm. The LCA I bought from a dude said he couldn’t install cuz he didn’t have endlinks I was like. I’m pretty sure we have stock ones. 🤷🏻♂️
@Scoobyfreak86 thanks man. What coilovers you got installed. I just copped some BC Coilovers and very disappointed in the rear drop. Does yours go low ?
Not good design. Installed these on my ‘23 WRX today. Cam bolts are poor quality. The cam stops on the arms need to be much thicker to prevent cams from over running. I’ll be taking these off asap and selling. I’m a mechanic with 30+ yrs experience and IMO SuperPro could do better.
Loving the build makes me wanna sell my 08 legacy and get a STI 🥺
Yo dude that's the headlamp leveler sensor system. 4th bolt goin in on the left arm. Thanks for the vid !

Exactly. Function over form!
Thank you for making this video. I just got my superpro lca's and will be using your video as a reference during my install.

Bro I thought I broke my car, this happened to me and I was freaking out😂😂
Looking forward to installing my cusco ones. Thanks for every detail on this part.

Nice video... nothing like working on your own car on Labor Day like a true American! Saving that $$$ for the next mod. Love it.
Agreed! It was a fun install too. No issues and went smoothly. That doesn’t happen very often haha.
Thanks for all the info and showing the setup.
Love the color! Subie blue!!
Is there zero rear camber adjustment with the stock control arm? Not even a camber bolt?
Nothing. You need aftermarket camber lca’s or camber bolts but I’d recommend lca’s.
Just got mine with the toe rods
Great content! Very helpful thanks for uploading :)
“Gonna lube these up hehe” lmao. Good video brotha 🤙
I gave my mechanic superpro arms and sent old parts and grease untouched

It all depends on how low you are, but these lca’s can get you back into spec if you aren’t slammed.
Rewatching this lol my shop by said 200 for everything because I was about to do it myself
I just got quoted $900 in total labor for LCA and Toe Ends. Yeah, no chance.
How do you keep the rear diff so clean I’ve had my car for a year and it has surface rust on the diff a little
Just normal cleaning and spraying under the car during my washes.
the blue looks great! torque specs for the bolts?

Hey I just got a set of super pro LCAs, did you re-use the factory bolt on the other side of the eccentric ?
I used any hardware provided with the lca’s.
do you need rear toe joints a well for thesse?
Not needed unless you are going for a much lower stance.
Do you have a link and a part number and a link for those LCAs?
ebay.us/pyhvXu
Thank you. 👍
Do you know how much camber you could get out of these?
I’m running -3.5 in the rear with them if that helps you.
@@Autofreakgarage do you know if you could go any further?
Theres still some remove for more
@@Autofreakgarage thanks I’ll probably get some of these then.
Hey bro. Would I need a endlink for control arm?
You can run stock but I would upgrade them anyway. The stock endlinks are pretty weak.
@@Autofreakgarage mhmm. The LCA I bought from a dude said he couldn’t install cuz he didn’t have endlinks I was like. I’m pretty sure we have stock ones. 🤷🏻♂️
@@Autofreakgarage need to install lca soon because I’m kind of rubbing on 265/35 on deep curb on road. But overall just normal driving I don’t rub.
My 2019sti w/ 255 40 18 tires (oem suspension) rubbing when over 100/km into corner. Do u think -2 would be ok to avoid rubbing?
Yes dialing in a bit of negative camber will help.
Would I need to get adjustable toe arms as well?
All depends on you’re ride height. I did not need them as the stock arms allowed me to get back into spec.
@@Autofreakgarage ok. I only want to drop mine an inch with Fortune 500 coilovers.
You’ll be fine with stock toe arms
Does this lower the car?
It does not. Just allows for camber adjustment.

Some minor toe in on the rear is a good thing!
@@Autofreakgarage my issue is im getting toe out
Ahh that’s different. You should be able to get the toe back in then.
Do u need a alignment after install?
Yes
Dont forget toe control arms you will need em
Not 100% necessary. Just got my alignment today and got it close to spec.
@@Autofreakgarage hey bro what were your alignment specs?
