@@swiftyoooo yeah. Raine even said that Belos needs all coven heads alive day of unity (probably to help merge the realms). If Darius and Eberwolf were to die in ER (along with Raine and Eda) the day of unity would have been postponed for a while as that’s 3 coven heads needed to be replace (and Kiki said it would be a hassle to find one replacement. Just image three)
I think the Coven Heads are going to source out the magic within their Covens. The Bile Sacks of everyone within the Bard Coven will empty out and that magic will seek Raine, who will then channel it into the portal. If the same happens for all the coven heads they would definitely have enough power to merge the realms (maybe even transform that raw magic into Titan's Blood for the merger)
@@rodrigoloescher6735 that's sound like it needs them to willingly help though, which I don't see Raine ever doing even if threatened. I think the Coven heads themselves are the ones to be "sacrificed" because then Belos doesn't need Raine to consent to anything he can just use them if that makes sense.

Man, coming back to this after the rest of the season is a trip. Belos’s purpose for Hunter is simultaneously less dramatic but waaaaay more twisted.
Seeing hunters breakdown really demonstrates how much expectations belos had placed on him, and seeing how he tears himself apart for not feeling useful or failing his misson i feel like belos is going to end betraying him, and its going to destroy hunter physically and mentally, in all honesty i just want hunter to be happy with himself and heal from mental anguish🥺
Have you noticed that so many of the people in this show seem to have expectations both placed on themselves and from others? Amity, Hunter, Kiki, etc. Some much more severe than others or at other times.

I feel like Belos was ONCE a decent person, human, in fact. (Whether he was THE human, we can't say for sure yet) But fell long ago when his greed for control of other witches and all magic took over any moral compass he had left after arriving on the aisles.
You can see the faintest glimpse of humanity when he talks about the calm nights and green trees, like he misses who he (or his creator?) was then. Belos was ONCE a good man. But has fallen so far that I don't believe any redemption (look back on how they *in my opinion* redeemed Lilith) would be enough for me or most, if not all the fan base, to have any pity for him in his current state.
Anyway, I can't make up my mind on the Hunter thing, but he is definitely connected to a grimwalker if not one himself. Maybe he was one gone wrong or "rogue" and Belos is going to try again?
That’s very true! We don’t know too much about him, but after Eclipse Lake he’s gone from being fairly enigmatic to a visibly complex and fascinating antagonist who clearly has some good somewhere inside him. If he was Philip, I’m sure that some part of who he once was is still in there. He seemed so nice without his mask that I want to like him, but in the end I probably won’t.
On Belos seeming human, his ears are smaller compared to other witches, indicating that they might have been human ears that were cut into the right shape
My theory: Belos had a wife (or any other gender but a women makes for sense for my theory sooo,….he had a wife) One day they discovered Titans blood and harnessed it’s power. They started going in frequently , but said to the public that it was to dangerous. Belos and his wife decided to have a picnic in their. Belos has probably been around for hundreds of years, so this was during the witch trials. His wife was seen doing magic and was executed. When he couldn’t bring her back to life, he went to the next best thing, getting revenge on the humans who killed her. He went insane trying to avenge her. Just a theory tho

While me and my friend were discussing the possibility of Hunter being a grimwalker I noticed that galdorstone is needed for a heart. And since galdorstone’s are said to enhance magic maybe Belos used something else for Hunter. Either as a substitute after he couldn’t find a galdorstone since they’re said to be rare or Belos intentionally used something else as a means of controlling Hunter more easily. A soft spot that can be easily manipulated. I’m torn between which one is more likely.
I thought that if Belos used his possibly human/half-human DNA. It actually just made him powerless due to it. Idk.
I like the first explanation better since the Emperor’s Coven still seemed to be looking for galdorstones in TTLGR (Bria and company heard them talk about them), and there didn’t seem to be any missing from the Looking Glass Ruins.
I really like this thought. Belos and Hunter use the same kind of magic, causing a connection between them. However, Belos will always be more powerful. There's no reason fighting it. Honestly, I think Belos might try to replace the heart before he enters Hunter's body. A failed attempt at replacing a magic source might even be what put him in his current state
I'm honestly really hoping that Hunter will switch sides on Belos, or at least act as a spy for Luz and the gang.
Or at the very least gain some autonomy separate from Belos. Hunter has academic interests that are stifled because Belos has a blanket ban on wild magic, aka non Coven magic. Wonder how that fits in, since he forbade research even when Hunter sought to use it it help his uncle.
Hunter and Lilith researching the unknown history of the Boiling Isles could be promising, both on the path to redemption and looking beyond the limits imposed on their worldview.

Honestly I felt for everyone's struggle, even Kikimora! Who I feel she's slowly losing her mind in how she is now full paranoid and out to get Hunter. Anyone else feel that her image in the intro is a tease and hint that Kikimora is going to end up transforming into a bigger monster once she becomes desperate?(either stopping Luz or getting rid of Hunter)
Hope future episodes explain who she is before she ends up being that one Mini Boss that dies quickly before the main boss who is Belos.
Really think about this for a moment: Hunter is the Golden Guard, teen prodigy and Belos' most lethal enforcer. Yet Amity was more than able to hold her own with him and even put him on his toes. Home girl came to play and went for the kill.
To be fair, Hunter's power comes from the artificial staff, and the fight was the first time he used Rascal. The fact he staled Amity with a weapon he wasnt familiar with is really more impressive
Exactly, it just goes to show how talented Amity is, especially since she has been pressured to be the best since she was a little girl by her parents.

THE FACT THAT ITS CANON
At this point I don't believe Belos was Phillip Wittebane. If that were the case, it wouldn't make sense he would have donated his journal to the library. It seems logical from the Echo Mouse Phillip was the one who constructed the two items used to create portals (the large eye on the suitcase and the small one on the key) and Belos's experiments suggest he isn't completely competent in how the portal works. He clearly knows the two primary "keys" to make it work, but not how to accurately re-create it.
New theory is Belos was a friend of Wittebane's when he came to live in the Boiling Isles. He studied with and helped Wittebane in researching magic, most likely helping in discover a way back to the human realm. My thoughts are, while Belos had access to all of Wittebane's research, he did not inherently know about human technology. Once the case and key were complete, Belos attempted to steal it for his own means. Wittebane either perished or gone rogue, but managed to keep it out of Belos's hands. Probably teleporting it randomly somewhere, likely the spot Eda had found it in the future.
With Wittebane either out of the way or powerless, Belos how attempts to locate the case and key again. The grimwalker, I believe, was all Belos. He used what he learned from Wittebane, and discovered a way to extend his life through constructing grimwalkers, and since then has been using them to as his present body wears out. I do think the grimwalker (and hunter and the present Belos) was the form and appearance of Wittebane though. Maybe he had gotten some of Wittebane's blood and used that in the first grimwalker experiment, so it grew to look like Wittebane. And Belos simply kept that appearance.
Also given the stressing of the day of unity, I feel like that is a "Sozin's Comet" situation. A sort of once-in-a-millennium event, which would most likely significantly amplify magic in general on the Boiling Isles. It could also explain the Coven system and the seals. Belos needs both the portal and a massive supply of magic to either create a large and stable portal to the human realm, or to simply merge the two worlds together. Suffice to say, for this plan to work Belos has his Emperor's Coven working feverishly to bind as many witches to his Coven system as possible while he himself attempts to make ready the portal.
So I don't think Hunter is a "sacrifice" in that sense, but a new body for Belos to inhabit. His "family" could easily have been other grimwalkers he created before Hunter.
Yes! You and i seem to be in the minority here, as most people in the fandom have basically come to the conclusion that Belos IS Phillip Wittebane.
But I don't think he is. I was thinking he'd be a completely different third party that has no connections to Belos whatsoever, except maybe he stumbled upon Phillip's research somehow, maybe it was published somewhere else at some point and he has no idea of his journal in the library.
But I'm really liking your theory that he's actually someone Phillip used to know and even helping him with his research. Phillip hiding the portal from him makes sense as to why it was randomly in Eda's backyard and why Belos doesn't have it himself; the thing I don't get about the Belos is Phillip theory is that if that was the case, why didn't he already have the portal, and why did he leave his journal lying around in the library? It just doesn't add up to me
Oh wow that could also explain the curse! In the diary, Wittabane says that he escaped alive from Eclipse Lake, but his companions didn't. Maybe Belos was left behind and presumed dead by Phillip. When he escaped, the exposure to that much of both Titan's Blood and Fool's Blood (which I have to imagine is just the Titan's Lynthatic Tissue by proximity to the Blood) started eating at him. Maybe he used the magic around him to escape and became addicted, but that's quite a stretch hehe. Either way, that would explain his half understanding of the portal and maybe even the importance of merging the realms. It could be a huge revenge plot.
That's actually a good theory , it explains a lot of the gaps surrounding the 'belos is wittebane' ; this is something I've been thinking that's connected to the 'belos is Phillips friend". Perhaps the fouls blood left belos significantly mutated and as soon as he left eclipse lake he inhabited Phillips body because he blamed Phillip for the death of the acquaintances on his trip to eclipse lake and him becoming severely mutilated so he murdered Phillip and inhabited his body. This is merely a theory though, more of something i thought of but i still thought it would be fun to share
@@irlelliewilliams Well there had to be a tweak after episode ten, at least a little. My guess is, while my theory remains sound, NOW I believe one of the Wittebane brothers survived, who is now Belos. And either Belos switches grimwalkers to alternate the appearance of the brothers, or Belos is using the other brother's remains as the "ortet". Maybe only a small portion is needed to grow a new grimwalker, but after so long he may have used the last of the "ortet" to make hunter, and now Belos found a key to immortality using the Day of Unity. That sounds a little more macabre for Disney, so that may not hold as much water. But the presence of TWO Wittebanes just deepens the mystery. Both as to what happened that day in Gravesfield back in the 17th century, AND what the Boiling Isles was like at that time.
And of course we have the problem of the "fulcrum" of the series now, Titan's Blood. It's become obvious it's essentially for making any portal work, if the key's eye held titan's blood then it stands to reason the door eye does as well. So unless there are still titans alive from which to procure more blood, with the key broken any portal creation would be finite in use...

My theory: Phillip was dying, and he made a grim walker for himself and swapped his body with it. But it was imperfect which explains the green scar.

Edit: I also just realized that in the selkidomus episode, Belos could have literally been sending current Hunter to gather materials for a new replacement, yikes…
It literally says a lot about Hunter's mental state when you realize he rather bury himself alive than show up to Belos empty handed and ultimately disappoint him. If he has a redemption arc coming, Disney better make it worth them cutting the show from having a Season 3, cause Dana already worked hard enough on this

I don’t think he’s a Grim-walker clone. I believe that is Creepy Luz. As for Hunter, I think he’s already going down a existential crisis as he’s obsessed to get Emperor Belos’ approve that it almost makes him serves as a example of what Amity would have become if she never meet Luz.
EDIT 1: So, I was wrong about Creepy Luz being a grim walker. However, I still believe that Hunter is just an example for what would’ve happened to Amity if she never met Luz.
EDIT 2: So, Hunter has been confirmed to be a Grim-walker clone of Caleb aka Phillip’s brother. I was really hoping that wasn’t the case as I saw hunter as a real person.

Oddly enough, I think Belos looking like a normal (ish) human underneath the mask makes his him more menacing because it adds a human element to his manipulative and deceitful personality.

Because the titan is Belos, it’s protecting its heart and you can’t damage it anyways . “Nothing can pierce it’s heart” esp if the Titans blood is flowing there “ you’ll never manage to “kill” it .

The face reveal by Emperor Belos was the biggest jaw drop of this episode!
Just imagine: end of season 2 Emperor Belos is beaten pretty good by the Bad Girl coven and then Hunter runs over to help him and is like "Uncle! Are you ok?!" And then Belos is like "oh Hunter...you were always there by my side and I think it's time.." and then Hunter goes "time for what?" And then Belos goes "I always said the Titan had plans for you" and then he raises his hand and then his plant abomination type matter starts shoving into Hunter's mouth but we only see from his POV and then the screen fades to black showing belos' iconic blue glowing eyes the way I would cry for Hunter😭

The one missing link with the 'Bellos is (or is related to) Phillip' theory is that, Phillip made his portal successfully. It seems to open up directly on his colonial-era Connecticut house back on Earth. How did he or his family line lose both the portal and the knowledge of making it for like 400 years? Even if some memory loss occurs via cloning or whatever, what would've delayed his plans for so long, and why was the perfectly-functional portal forgotten in the Clawthorne's back yard?

Honestly I think luz's staff is going to be a bat since bats are usually animals accompanied with witches and if you look at the newest episode of season 2 it shows luz messaging amity with a vitural bat and amity has a profile of a cat which we see as her staff in the episode
Also, the Clawthorne’s have been said to have bird themed staffs, bats are kind of like an honorary bird and Luz is sort of an honorary Clawthorne
Honestly, i saw a theory that come up with "snake" and it fits more than a bat for my opinion. Also Eda gave luz an "egg" so i think it should be a animal which comes from an egg like bird or repitile classes.

I think there WILL be a Body Swap, but I think Hunter will swap with the bird talisman, as he often hides it in his robes. This would allow him to continue to be a character without dying on the spot due to being in Belos' dying body.
I actually did not expect his face reveal this early. Felt anticlimactic for a villain reveal.
I liked it. If his mask got knocked off in a fight later on, it would be very expected. Because hid face reveal was so random, it was more of a shock
Part of that is probably because Disney decided to nerf season 3 entirely and only gave her 3 special length episodes. So she only has the last half of season 2 plus 3 hour length episodes to wrap it all up instead of a proper season 3
Belos is part witch part human, The day of unity needs a part human part witch sacrifice, so belos cloned himself so that he doesn’t have to sacrifice him self.

Pretty plausible theories. Though I'm still wholly convinced that Emperor Belos' endgame is him ultimately wanting to become the ONLY being that uses magic. I mean it makes sense considering how rigid he's made the Coven system.
I think his end game is just the destruction of magic period.

Magic didn't work on earth without the titan's essence, I think with earth being so much larger the titan's essence will dissipate too thinly for magic to work.
Belos is definitely a failed Grimwalker clone, I'm calling it right now
See I think Wittebane--either on his own or by making a deal with the Titan--made his first grimwalker back in the 1600s, and used the body swapping spell from 1x08 to, well, swap bodies with the grimwalker. Based on the diagram in the book looking like Hunter, I'm wondering if all grimwalkers look like him, but when the body swapping spell is used we know that some features are changed. This would explain Belos having blue eyes, a square chin, and human-sized pointy ears. If my theory is correct, then either Hunter will die in Belos's old body, or Luz & co will have to hurry to swap him back before it's too late. I hope it's the second thing!

Sadly I really see hunters side of things. I'm a survior of parental abuse and I know how hard it is to get away from your abuser. I've done it twice. Thankfully the first time was easier but when I finally left my other abusers home, I actually had a panic attack and couldn't function for an entire month after that. I was so terrified even though I knew I was being hurt and not gonna get better if I didn't leave. Ontop of that, Belos has been the only person in his life to show him an ounce of "love" until this point. A victim may know they are hurting others to please their abuser, but to have those good times again and to be seen as worthy after being torn down over and over again is a powerful thing. Sometimes you don't even realized you've picked up your abusers habits in order to survive. honestly, it breaks my heart to see this but I can also relate in a lot of ways.
News; The Owl House is ending at Season 3. One of Disney Channel's best, Luz, Eda, and King will have their storyline wrapped up in a shortened Season 3. Creator Dana Terrace talked about the future of The Owl House, along with what the fans can do to get more of it, such as by watching the show on Disney+ or by sending handwritten letters.
Dana Terrace is really interested in continuing The Owl House in things like spinoffs, comics, or shorts. If we're extra lucky, maybe even an Owl House Season 4! However, none of this can happen if there isn't a demand for it. Disney needs to see the potential here. So, while the news of the show ending is unfortunate, there's still hope.
Imagine if Luz makes her own Grimwalker, she already has the wood and she knows where the tow ingredients are-
Or makes Hunter a new body. Either way Luz be playing god and or raising the dead.

The scene at the very beginning before even the intro has got to be one of my favorite scenes in the whole series. You don’t really expect a face reveal yet, and you don’t expect it to be so casual, and you definitely don’t expect what you see- a pretty standard, perhaps attractive, older man with a weird green scar on his face. NOT some hideous demon. And he addresses his “nephew” softly and kindly, speaking of the Human Realm with genuine passion, beautifully and almost poetically. You can see the person he once was, whoever that may be, shine through, and you almost want to like him, but slowly he becomes a bit less agreeable, not wanting Hunter to die so that he doesn’t need to find- or build- a replacement. He reinforces again that the Titan has big plans for Hunter, but what are those plans? It’s so far from what a lot of us expected in that regard, and it works brilliantly.
For people saying it's just Creepy Luz (disproven) and not Hunter, look at the ending op in season 2, the stylized pained window-esc art it looks exactly like the eyes on the grimwalker page. That is too much to be a coincidence.
Well Luz's mom would certainly notice if her daughter's eyes changed color.
Creepy Luz can change her eye color with Illusion magic (if Grimwalkers can have the ability to perform magic, maybe some of them can?)

I think the Grim-walker clone has to be Creepy Luz. After all, We haven’t seen her eyes yet. As for Hunter’s story, I do see Phillip Whitbane/Emperor Belos taking over his body as a new vessel/host around the Day of Unity in a similar manner to the Body Swap Spell from Season 1. However, in this case, it could be similar to what Kingdom Hearts villain and Organization XIII leader Master Xehanort did to Terra in Birth by Sleep.
EDIT: So, this theory was been thrown completely out of the window as Hunter is a Grim-Walker clone of Caleb aka Phillip’s brother and Creepy Luz turns out to be a runway creature from the Boiling Isles who shape shifted into Luz to live a normal life.
But if Belos could get her to the Human Realm, why does he need to make the portal?
That means whoever made it had access to the portal during season one, and Eda kept it pretty secure. If the portal wasn’t used, that makes the whole aim of Belos getting it pointless unless a third party was involved. I can’t see Eda making a Grimwalker, certainly not without telling Luz, King doesn’t have that power and Hooty couldn’t keep it secret if his life depended on it. Lilith saw Luz as a pet in season one, and there’s no apparent third party at the moment capable of making a Grimwalker of Luz and dispatching it to Earth.
This also brings into question motive for DoppelLuz. Someone wants to make sure she’s not missed on Earth, but most characters on the Boiling Isles have no reason to do this. I doubt it’s anyone at the Owl House, and unless it’s a powerful illusion anything Gus would do would have worn off by now. Besides, DoppelLuz has physical form, she hands Luz’s mother the box of tissues.
If someone is body jumping to fight the lifespan limitations, it could be a Luxu situation. That may also tally with aspects of the original personality being lost over time, there’s been so much of a Chinese Whispers effect the current identity is very different to the original. Doctor Who did a very interesting take on cloning, where a person is realised as they are remembered by others, effectively a Chinese Whispers version of themselves (an in universe Flanderisation if you will).

@@jbcatz5 a think that a third party *is* involved, and that the portal door wasn’t used, but rather a more direct source of Titan’s blood. I’m assuming it’s someone on the Boiling Isles since that’s where the ingredients to make a Grimwalker originate from, and that’s where Luz is, but there seems to be an entirely alternate Titan where the Collector originally trapped the owl beast that cursed Eda, so maybe there’s other portals there? I doubt that though, because it’s unlikely that they’d know about Luz. Wait. Since it says ‘bone of ortet,’ would that require some of Luz’s bone to make a Grimwalker of her? I don’t think she lost any bones.
???? They know enough about Luz to send letters back to Earth that keep her mother from noticing something is up. For the moment their intent seems to be benevolent, keep things on Earth as though Luz never left, but their long term motivation is yet to be seen.

Belos looks like he's turning into wood. If he's some sort of homunculus like Hunter then this would make sense with the overconsumption of the wood.. from what the paper says wood is like bone marrow for grimwalkers so too much could probably make them revert into a beast or become wood themselves.

This theory is very, very good, and I like that it included the possibility of Belos being Philip. So many people figured that out pretty much instantly, especially since their accent and inflections are so similar (but different voice actors, different bodies), so they’re considering it “too obvious” of a backstory for him and speculating that he is instead a descendant of Philip. Honestly, though, I prefer the theory that he is Philip himself and, as you theorized, possessed the bodies of Grimwalkers he created. However predictable, holds a lot more emotional and thematic weight. Philip would be a dark reflection of Luz, a human who stumbled into the Boiling Isles and “became a witch” despite possessing no natural magic, but somewhere he went wrong, overtook the Isles, and became…Emperor Belos. He’s been there because he’s from there, speaking about it with genuine passion, and I’m sure he misses it as much as Luz does, even if his intent isn’t just to return home. If he was just a descendant of Philip who heard stories of Earth from his ancestors, where would the thematic resonance be? That’s even more important than being surprising. But what do I know? Belos could be anyone! Belos could be Hooty’s brother for all we know lol.

I binged the whole series in two days like 3 months after it’s completion and I felt that I really missed out on the experience so now I’m going back and watching theory videos and such from when it was coming out and I’m loving it

My theory is this...
You need to understand, a large part of the Owl House deals in names being specific... Luz means light, the first spell she learned, Belos named his reanimated brother Hunter because that was his job, not his name, to dehumanize him and keep him under control, and so on...
Going by this reasoning, several aspects of the series become possible, leading to my theory.
It was shown that Philip and Caleb were taken to the Boiling Isles by a witch, in the newspaper clipping. My belief is, Philip was excited over this, but Caleb was the more puritanical, wanting to go home, whereas Philip wanted to explore the Isles and log them. Now, it needs to be understood about the Collector, at this point... Going by the name specific use of the series, his name is the Collector, meaning he isn't just after a single bird entity, Eda the Owl Lady's owl spirit, but a collection of them... Which leads me to believe the witch that rescued them would be... The Cardinal Lady.
Now... I believe that Philip was in love with her, but was too shy to tell her, but she slowly won Caleb over to loving the Isles, and in doing so, he grew to love her, as well. He even planned to marry her, and as a sign of his affection for her, he carved a palisman in her honor, most likely over the food she may have first fed them when they arrived on the Isles... Flapjacks... Again, possible, through the meaning of names in the show.
Philip viewed this as an act of betrayal from his brother, and the Cardinal Lady, even though neither of them knew Philip's feelings towards her. From this point on, Philip only desired to find a way home, leading to the building of the portal. He took Caleb and the Cardinal Lady to to titan, and they both perished in the cave of Fools Blood, the companions he talked about dying in his diary. He then made a deal with the Collector to use his portal to free him, and as an act of good faith, he drew out the Cardinal Lady's cardinal spirit, sending it through to the Collector, as a promisary down payment, for which he was given the power to become Emperor Belos.
He later reanimated Caleb as a Grimwalker, naming him Hunter, sealing off his memories... However, he also resurrected the Cardinal Lady, reforming her body into a small, deformed version of her true self, with her own memories sealed off... and he named her... Kikimora... Again, with the names... A kikimora is a spirit who is the personal servant of a powerful wizard, even loving him, in return for small bits of power he gives her... so, Kikimora isn't a name, it is, like Hunter, a title and job given as a name, allowing Belos to finally have the woman he loved under his control, forgetting all about Caleb, and teaching her to, in fact, hate Caleb, as a rival for Belos' love and power. And Belos' palisman... a carved right hand... the Emperor's Right Hand... which he attached to her head, covering her dead right eye, where he drew the cardinal spirit from, from which he can always control her. At one point she received a letter from her family to come home, but she chose to stay with Belos and forget about her family, after he offered her even greater power... I believe her family was only a false memory given to her by Belos, and the letter was a fake sent by him, to reinforce her loyalty.
Every time Flapjack comes back to Caleb, and Caleb instinctuallly protects it from Belos, it is a sign of betrayal that causes Belos to kill that Grimwalker, and make a new one, no longer calling them Hunter, when he sees Flapjack and his brother together, but, instead, calling them Caleb, knowing that they might regain their memories, and then free Kikimora from his control, as a result. At some time in the past, one of the Caleb's did, in fact, remember, and made the attempt, and failed... but knowing Belos made more before him, and would make more after, he left a clue for the future Caleb to remember his lost and enslaved love, the Cardinal Lady... he scratched out the right eye of Flapjack, so that he could remember who Kikimora really was.

Hunter is the next Amity what I mean by this is that Hunter will probably be an antagonist for the rest of the first half of season 2 just like how Amity was an antagonist for the first half of season 1 but as we get into the second half of season 2 hunter will be more of a good guy and by the time the season finale rolls around he’ll be completely good just like how amity was in the second half of season 1 (edit: this is just my opinion)

This episode honestly made me hurt that much more for Hunter than just how anxious he seemed in Hunting Palisman.
In this episode, versus the cool and kinda dorky version of him, we get to see the pure desperation and insecurity that he lives with every day because of Emperor Belos. Just the sheer panic when he told Amity "I don't want to be replaced!"

Hunter is definitely my favorite character in the Owl House for sure. And I'm honestly scared as hell for his future and whatever fucked up shit Belos has planned for him.

The bodysnatching idea never occurred to me until you mentioned it, but now I WANT IT. It has so much story potential! Not to mention how it could create a whole new set of character relationships - would Belos!Hunter pretend to be the exact same, or seemingly do a 180 and go full evil? How would the Owl Crew figure out the bodysnatching? How EXACTLY would they get Belos out? So much story and worldbuilding potential!
