Seeing a Cardinal Palisman on one of the brother’s shoulders could make sense on why it bonded with Hunter since he reminded him of his previous owner due to the similar resemblance.
My thought on it? I think that Phillip is Belos, and his brother is Hunter's descendant. Belos got turned into what he is by using wild magic to prolong his life. His brother's family grew over time, though some of them were born with Human hearts, making them unable to do magic. Hunter *is* Belos' nephew... just very far removed. That would also explain Belos' weird ears, which don't look to be shaped the same way, in any of the lines, as any other Witch.
Theory: Belos is actually Philip and he took his brother's name just like when Stanley stole Stanford's name in Gravity Falls, and then Hunter is a Grimwalker of Philip's brother
ARE YOU A FORTUNE TELLER??? FROM THE FUTURE PERHAPS????? IS THERE GONNA BE EVEN A LITTLE MORE OWL HOUSE SUCH AS COMICS OR SMTH OR A SPIN OFF I MISS THIS SHOW
One cultural detail you missed: Luz's mom didn't hit the guy with just a sandal; she used "la chancla!" (Admittedly, that still means "sandal," but Hispanic moms threatening someone with la chancla is well-known to Hispanic families)
I'm not even Hispanic and I noticed that! It's so cool to see writers including authentic cultural touches for their characters, rather than just painting one character a darker color and calling it inclusivity.
Belos is obviously Phillip's brother, the emperor coven symbol is an altered version of the tapestry one... Probably their family insignia. And the day of unity is Belos making his brother dream of "showing magic to everyone on Earth" real
the brother up front has what looks like a cardinal the same as hunters staff, and the brother in the back has a piece of paper with a circle possibly a glyph
the ending of this episode made me think that belos will definitely get to sway luz into agreeing and even helping with the day of unity and I think she might be desperate enough to do it. from what we’ve seen the day of unity is exactly what luz wants: the demon realm and human realm coming together. she could have everything she wants and I think that’s going to entice her. also with all these philip and belos revelations part of me is thinking maybe belos isn’t as bad as he seems. I don’t think they’re going for a full on misdirect of him not actually being a villain but more so a thanos approach where you can see and understand his motivations, why he’s doing it, and why he truly believes he’s right, but you still don’t agree with the way he’s going about solving those problems. I think he and luz will mirror each other in that way, where they both want essentially the same thing (to be in the human and demon realm) but have different approaches to it where in belos is the negative and luz is the positive
Probably during Season 2B, Luz would be that desperate enough to make a deal with Emperor Belos and/or the Coven Heads to help with the Day of Unity when she thinks that if both the Human Realm and Demon Realm are merged, she would never have to leave behind her loved ones in both realms.
12:50 One of the brothers is holding a glyph there. Seems like Belis might actually know glyph magic. I wonder what the other thing he's holding is. I feel like the fact that it's obscured might mean it's important. Maybe a staff that we've already seen or something.
Oh yea! And I remember how (I think it was the principal or someone else) mentioned that glyphs were part of the ancient times of magic 👀 1600s seem old enough
Been waiting for this breakdown!!! I cried for real with the Camila and Luz part. It's the part of growing up that's so hard. I got a thought about the day of unity. We all know by now the door leads to both worlds maybe in the end it'll stay open and the worlds will stay connected and anyone can come and go
Yea, i think maybe they won't be able to stop the day of unit but if so they'll be able to connect the realms in a good way. Kinda like the ending of Legend of Korra
I mean if I'm told my daughter obsessed with fantasy worlds chose to stay there...Yeah I'd also freak out Camilla might just ave to...you know hear the full story Like sit her down and go 'Mom I believed this was where I could learn to grow without having to be different, and I always had a way home, I was gonna go back once summer camp was over, but the portal was destroyed, and I've been trying to get home ever since. I've learned not to sink into my fantasy world when things go wrong, not to accidentally hurt others when I wanna make friends, and to be careful about messing with things. I want to come home, but I want you to meet my friends...'
EXACTLY!! Luz never got the chance to tell Camilla why and how she stayed, about how if she didn't give up the portal and helped them, Eda, King and Lilith would die. But if she didn't destroy it, Belos would go to the human realm.
Exactly like everyone is mad at her for making that promise but let's look at this from a parental stand point you just found out your child is in a place called the demon realm with no way back, how exactly are you supposed to feel about that, I would be freaking out. And it seems like Camilla only has Luz
I have a small theory that the brother of belos may have fallen in love when they went to the demon world and had a kid and so on. And years go on and what if hunter is beloses great x? Nephew which would help the theory with the palacemen and why hunter looks so much like the brother plus why belos wants him around and the no magic thing.
@@metallicsnake. that would make since but the only question is why did it take so long to get to the human world. Maybe the brother is stuck in the same place that luz was in the latest episode.
What I really loved this episode was that Vee actually made friends at the camp Luz was so afraid of. Luz could’ve done that too. She could’ve made friends and been happy on Earth Also, really wish Luz had taken a few seconds to spy on Amity. It would’ve been adorable
Could she though, besides one being from the magical world, it's pretty clear Vee didn't like her life there and probably hates reminders of it. This getting rid of Liz's weird stuff. Yes Ve made friends, but she was also trying to fit in and become someone new. Luz did not want to make friends or change herself in order to fit in. Vee is literally a shape shifter, she changes herself all the time and that's kinda sad.
@@demonheart13 Fair point but these new friends are into occult readings and Luz could’ve probably turned them onto good witch Azura They also aren’t brainwashed zombies like a lot of fans were expecting so clearly the camps not very affective
then she would get distracted to how pretty Amity is and spent her whole time looking and her until the portal closes then never gets the chance to see her mom
Oh gosh, now I’m worried which heartbreak will happen to each side. Heartbreak of your mother who raised you and always been by your side or your found family and friends that includes your GF? I mean one definitely has more people, but the other has the parent that loves and raised you.
I think that if Luz had had more time to explain everything to Camilla, then she wouldn’t have made her make such a rash promise. This will likely work out in the end, but it’s going to cause a lot of drama for everyone involved in the process.
If Luz finds a way that would allow her to travel freely between both realms, I give Camilla 1 week max before she "frees" Luz from that promise under the condition that she returns home every time. She is to nice of a mom to ignore her daughter suffering. And let's be honest, if Luz get's "traped " in the human world becouse of that promise, she will defenitely suffer.
I think it's more than that. Another theory also by The Roundtable, is that the coven sigils were made to drain magic from the witches that joined as well as controlled them, like what we see Kikimora do to Raine
I just realized there might be another Gravity Falls connection with the town Gravesfeild. Not only do they both have GF in their names, but they both seem to have a supernatural history
Has anyone else thought of the idea that luz also lied to her mom, I mean it is called yesterday’s lie so it could mean that when she does make the portal she won’t stay on earth. And that she only made the promise to calm her down and hopefully easy the idea of her staying. Also the training wand could indicate that ether one it comes back and is used to hunt v down, or Camila stole it and might get in to magic and understand why luz was so fascinated by it and decided to stay in the demon realm. Whatever the case is we do have one thing that will happen luz will have to confront her mom about magic and why she stayed in the demon realm. Any thoughts
The ending of the episode is giving me the feeling of Star vs the forces of evil ending 😖 also that line were Luz says “staying was the best decision she made “ that hurt on the emotional level 😢
Yess, the worst part is that Luz didn't even have the time to explain how the "decision" to stay really came, like i don't think she explained about how Eda, King and Lilith were about to die unless she gave up the portal and helped them
It's interesting how this is the second Disney show to have a character named Vee (the first being Vampirina, where the titular character was often called Vee).
I think the one thing missing in the portal door is something that would connect the demon relm to the human relm. It's like using a G.P.S. without a end location, or having point A without point B. So the portal Luz made is chose the Mirror dimention as a default. If Luz wants to go back, I think she needs an item that has a strong connection to the Human world.
your right on so many levels, but the item most likely, would be something she's held on to from the start.. LIKE THE GOOD WITCH AZURA BOOK, it would be another big decision for Luz
Part 2 of the season I think we will get a mother episode of her trying to figure a way to get Luz back and will get some surprise help from someone... May be Grunkle Ford? I hope so. He'd be the right person for such a rescue.
FR i feel like if he does end up having a role in the day of unity, it's gonna be the "i was starved for knowledge and ended up fucking up the whole world" type of deal. Kinda like in She-ra, when Glimmer activates the heart of etheria (Glimmer is not a nutjob but i think you get the comparison)
I personally imaging him saying "SEE I TOLD YA!!!! I TOLD YA!!!!". Then pick up his "armor" and fail pathetically. Later, he's captured and begins talking crap about being taken to Mars, and stuff like "You won't have my teeth". And Eda tells him "Have people told you are a total wacko?", he says "yes, but know-", and Eda says "-And they hit the jackpot".
Theory: Philip and his brother came to the boiling isles but only Philip made it out. Brother ended up staying and bonding with lil'rascal. At one point he had a kid, Belos. Belos then found eternal life made a grim walker, Hunter, and then the modern day.
Soo, as for the episodes spelling out something, so far we have “Seek the key” Whatever this could lead to, I don’t know. My mind immediately went “seek the key back home”, but that’s 8 extra letters, and we still have 11 episodes left.
The biggest guess I have for those statues is those brothers founded the town and had unusual properties which was why they had statues. We’ll find out around episode 17 or 18. Usually the later half of the season.
I've been thinking about what Philip said...that all his "companions" failed. What if the Owl Beast is really Philip's brother, just cursed and over time, forgot who he was? Then, ended up in the scroll and cursed/attached to Eda?
Remember the poem of the first season? Two Witches torn apart. Curse of Feathers and Mud. Betrayal of blood. Due to the Feathers and Mud line and Belos having a very muddy state that drains him just like Eda it might be that that poem talks about both, Phillip cursing his brother with a curse that seems to make him immortal but in lots of pain
Oh sheet your right, all the evidence I've gathered points to that, it's either that Papa noceda left Camila, but seeing that she still allows him in the picture could lead to Papa Noceda working abroad
I wonder who Luz's dad is considering his face was covered , and also I wonder if Camila will end up adopting hunter given his and Luz's sibling dynamic
Whack theory: King is a basilisk. The place where King was born looked eerily similar to the basilisk holding facility this episode. Maybe King’s dad is disguising as a demon (the king demon) and his mom actually did look like king, and their child ended up as King. King is integral to the plot because he has the power to absorb magic, we just haven’t see it yet, idk weird theory
"Every small town has its secrets, but Gravesfield has far more than most, and ours are buried deep, kept in the dark, and I have made it my life's work to shine a light into them."
Well, Jacob does indeed have live archived footage of concrete proof. And although him saying he will use it to "get his account verified" sounds lame, that's still something to be very worried about, he low-key said he is gonna upload it to the *internet* . And you know what that means, everyone is gonna see it, will find some way to go viral, and soon, everyone is gonna know about it. Which could one day reach to the government!! So yeah, you have every right to jinx it that Jacob will be a problem later on.
that symbol was probably the clawthorn crest, so belos had it to give to Hunter, and Eda has it from Belos's brother, the same family shared between the two
The most popular theory that exists right now after this episode is that Hunter is the clone of Philip's brother Grimwalker means "The dead walking", and one of the ingredients to make one is "the bone of ORTET". I think, in this case, bone of ORTET means "bones of the deceased" So, if Philip is Belos (questions as to how THAT happened could be answered in season 2B), then that means he went back to his brother's (supposed) gravesite (Eclipse Lake), got one of his bones, and used that to make Hunter (jesus christ...) That's the current theory right now
I was reading again my “Gravity Falls Lost legends” book again after watching the video about Eda and Stan and I also noticed that on the next page of the one that has Eda’s wanted poster, when Dipper opens the Diary to read about the “Crawlspace” in the top corner of the diary you can partially read Boiling isles as the Title and something about legends and the word Wi… which I suppose is for witches.
Man I can see why dana said season 2 is her true visions of the show and personaly forme luz used to be a boring mc in my opinion but season 2 made her way better
I just realized something… if Luz ever does find her way back home, would that mean she’d no longer see Amity? If this is the case, we could see some spicy bombshell as a finale.
@OFFOX I’d hope so but they need Titan’s blood to be able to cross dimensions and the only source currently known is the key and that’s broken meaning it has a limited supply. All the blood at the lake is drained so unless they find another source, this could be a likely scenario.
This episode broke my heart 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔 but i loved it so much 😭😭😭😭 and i loved Camellia in this episode her saying i am sorry that I pushed you away please promise me you will stay that line Broke me 😭😭😭.
My theory: Luz's father could be Belos' brother. He and his brother decided to go to the other dimension, and the reason Camila said "I've never been so scared before" is because she remembered when Luz's father was in the same situation, but he never returned, so she asked Luz to promise that SHE will return to her.
When I saw the abomination head, i first thought it was a gag, but then I thought about it some more and I remembered that Abomination magic has already shown a capacity for portals: either by summoning abominations from elsewhere, or by using Abomination Goop to send a person somewhere else. Obviously, the two fields of magic are interconnected. Edit: Whoop! I just noticed! In the picture with the two brothers, one of them is holding a scrap of paper...with a circle on it! It's not definitively a glyph, but it definitely feels like a strong hint for one.
Well there went the whole “Creepy Luz” plot line out the window. So much for a new antagonist, Luz just befriended her like she was a Steven Universe Future villain. -_-
The Roundtable I got some theories. I think the brothers were accidentally teleport to the Boiling isles and saw wonder, while one brother tries his best to find a way home, his brother felt it was a change of face. These two could’ve married and bared many children including the descendants that would make Belos and Hunter. As for the witch, she tried to escape but the portal was destroyed so they were trapped on opposite sides. And if Hunter is Belos’ nephew that means he could be a descendant of the same brother who had a Cardinal. So after all these years that one palisman found his old friend but reincarnated in his descendant. As for Belos if he’s also a descendant he wants to see the land of his forefathers. And if he wants to expand his empire he’ll rule the human realm with an iron fist.
My theory is Philip went, and got trapped there then returned to earth. Then he and his brother went back for some reason (I figured that demon was King's dad), and something terrible happened.
Vee also ironically gives me vibes of “Vee” from the Pokémon manga who was an Eevee that was experimented on by Team Rocket in order to exploit its unstable genetics in order to use all 7 of its evolutions in order to create the ultimate weapon. But just like the owl house,s Vee Pokémon’s Vee also escaped from it’s cruel life and was later caught by Red and became one of his ace Pokémon. So maybe this was also an inspiration for Dana Terrace since she likes Pokémon lol
One thing I'd like to note about the doppelganger, is her little crooked catmouth. Suffice it to say, I went through something wildly traumatic. It totally shifted my demeanor. Hell, I started stretching frown muscles _I didn't even know I had,_ and ended up with this odd little smirk on one side, that's turned my smile all crooked. As a writer- and one who's been through those things _personally,_ it's something I would weave into my characters. A crooked smile is, in my works, a sign of a broken or breaking mind. I know it's little more than a character design thing, but that's immediately where my mind went. I don't expect the writers to have given her that expression based solely on the fact that her backstory is one of the most *_actively torturous_*_ ones in the setting._ I highly doubt it will be- or that they'd show the poor thing reaching her psychological breaking point. We already saw glimpses of what happened. I really doubt that's the direction they're going with her in the plot- it's now time for the characters to look forward, not back.
I dunno if anyone else used to read this series called "Sister's Grimm", but there was the same kind of mirror thing in that. Like, seeing everything in the reflection realm. It's pretty cool.
What I think the newspaper says: Every small town has its secrets, but Gravesfield has far more than most, and ours [havent figured out] ep, kept in and have made it my live's work to shine a light into and I have found far more than most.
1 thing's for sure tho, i waited til my bday to watch this ep and my friend watching with me found joy as everytime there was folklore, origins, worldbuilding and backstory, I reacted unknowingly and thinking back on it, it was fun , but yeah the episode was so good in the fact that it had history, somethn very interesting in shows
I've been thinking about that last line that Camila to Luz about promising to come back, I honestly believe Yesterday's lays the groundwork for Camila to have abandonment issues by her husband, the overwhelming emotional tone that comes from what most of Camila says and Luz's shift in facial expression to a dull pained look tells me there is most going on behind Camila's words that might have a much darker implication, but this show probably isn't that dark, but I find it hand to imagine having a framed photo of yourself and your daughter with your divorced husband. Also the whole fortune that was red to V and Luz which implicates both of them talks about running from a past that was not kind to you, also Vox is very right about her father having a ray of light over her face, but for some reason whenever a face is covered i always think dark implications.(although it is a ray of light which could be a good thing seeing how light has played a pivotal role in helping people and showing positivity). Again probably reading into things that are too dark for a Disney show but Dana has been getting away with a lot of things so maybe this is what she is going for but this is all just a theory, I'm kind of just writing off the top of my brain so if there is anything I think of later that I'm forgetting at the current moment, I will probably post an edit.
Vee’s backstory and transformation scene seriously gave me MAJOR Hazel vibes from infinity train book 3 due to how much they have in common when it come to both successfully being clones who where created by villains, both want to escape the trauma they endured, and have human forms thanks to their shapeshifting property’s. I’m really excited to see where Vee and her story goes from here since i just have a feeling she’ll return later on in season 2.
This honestly was the perfect way to end off the middle of the season. It gives us so much to think about and so much to talk about and I can't think of a single episode in season 2 so far that was bad. Season 2 is definitely doing a really great job of out doing the owl house as a show especially since season 1. Really just goes to show that modern cartoons can be just as good if not better than classic cartoons
1. "tarot" card girl is Azula (Grey Griffin) 2. it's *basilisk* (same spelling with the mythical creature), not "baskilisk" 3. in the same woodcut illustration of the witch and the 2 brothers, one of the brothers is holding Luz-type glyph magic
Genuinely teared up when Camilla comforted Vee. Vee was abused and treated with such disdain all her life that Camilla was the only time she knew what it was like to have some kindness shown to her. She literally thought all that was about to be ripped away from her. You could see how genuinely terrified she was and yet Camilla doesn't let that change her love and tenderness towards Vee.

One cultural detail you missed: Luz's mom didn't hit the guy with just a sandal; she used "la chancla!"
(Admittedly, that still means "sandal," but Hispanic moms threatening someone with la chancla is well-known to Hispanic families)
I'm not even Hispanic and I noticed that! It's so cool to see writers including authentic cultural touches for their characters, rather than just painting one character a darker color and calling it inclusivity.
Reminds me of the grandmother from Coco.
Not just Hispanic, it's a thing in pretty much the entire latino community. As a Brazilian, I have experience with that lol

Belos is obviously Phillip's brother, the emperor coven symbol is an altered version of the tapestry one... Probably their family insignia. And the day of unity is Belos making his brother dream of "showing magic to everyone on Earth" real
Thank you for explaining what I thought, I like Gravity Falls and lore so this is literally what I want
the brother up front has what looks like a cardinal the same as hunters staff, and the brother in the back has a piece of paper with a circle possibly a glyph
This has to be the saddest episode of the entire series💔 no matter where she stay she's going leaving someone she cares about behind
the ending of this episode made me think that belos will definitely get to sway luz into agreeing and even helping with the day of unity and I think she might be desperate enough to do it. from what we’ve seen the day of unity is exactly what luz wants: the demon realm and human realm coming together. she could have everything she wants and I think that’s going to entice her.
also with all these philip and belos revelations part of me is thinking maybe belos isn’t as bad as he seems.
I think you're on to something 🤔🤔🤔
Crazy it will lead to weirdmageddon like event.
I still love that Luz's Doppelganger was first voiced by Luz's main VA and then voiced by Michaela Dietz!!!

12:50 One of the brothers is holding a glyph there. Seems like Belis might actually know glyph magic. I wonder what the other thing he's holding is. I feel like the fact that it's obscured might mean it's important. Maybe a staff that we've already seen or something.
Oh yea!
And I remember how (I think it was the principal or someone else) mentioned that glyphs were part of the ancient times of magic 👀
1600s seem old enough
favorite part was when Camila pulled out a slipper from her bag🤣
DO NOT MESS WITH DA MAMA OR ELSE YOU GET LA CHANCLA
The clone thing was a burst. In the episode, Luz and her mother conservation got me emotional😢
They drew the witch with a devil’s tail, has principal bump ever been to earth?
He is 500 years old but I think it's the old lady from the good which books
Been waiting for this breakdown!!! I cried for real with the Camila and Luz part. It's the part of growing up that's so hard. I got a thought about the day of unity. We all know by now the door leads to both worlds maybe in the end it'll stay open and the worlds will stay connected and anyone can come and go
Yea, i think maybe they won't be able to stop the day of unit but if so they'll be able to connect the realms in a good way. Kinda like the ending of Legend of Korra
@@dicentra985 I hope it ends up being like that because Luz has so much to lose no matter what happens
I mean if I'm told my daughter obsessed with fantasy worlds chose to stay there...Yeah I'd also freak out
Camilla might just ave to...you know hear the full story
Like sit her down and go 'Mom I believed this was where I could learn to grow without having to be different, and I always had a way home, I was gonna go back once summer camp was over, but the portal was destroyed, and I've been trying to get home ever since.
As I child of divorce myself, with a mom similar to Camila, I think "did you hate living with me that much" COULD hint to divorce
Hunter is definitely a grimwalker of Philip as the statue of Philip has a scar and so does Hunter
Luz now have a adopted identical doppelganger sister.
She do
I have a small theory that the brother of belos may have fallen in love when they went to the demon world and had a kid and so on. And years go on and what if hunter is beloses great x? Nephew which would help the theory with the palacemen and why hunter looks so much like the brother plus why belos wants him around and the no magic thing.
Maybe with the good witch azura and he wrote books about her.
She could’ve made friends and been happy on Earth
Also, really wish Luz had taken a few seconds to spy on Amity.
@@demonheart13 Fair point but these new friends are into occult readings and Luz could’ve probably turned them onto good witch Azura
They also aren’t brainwashed zombies like a lot of fans were expecting so clearly the camps not very affective
then she would get distracted to how pretty Amity is and spent her whole time looking and her until the portal closes
then never gets the chance to see her mom
@@RichardiOS275 haha. Fair enough. It still would’ve been adorable
@@justinbuergi9867 i don't think I would find Luz wasting possibly her only chance to see her mom again to be adorable
Let’s be honest. The moment Luz promised Camilla she’d come back was the moment we worried about the future of LUMITY.
I was more of worried if she can finish the promise
Well that the first worry that trought my mind when she promise her mom that she will returned to the human realm permanently

My theory about why he was studying the basilisks was so that he could make the coven thing seal specific magic
I think it's more than that. Another theory also by The Roundtable, is that the coven sigils were made to drain magic from the witches that joined as well as controlled them, like what we see Kikimora do to Raine
I just realized there might be another Gravity Falls connection with the town Gravesfeild. Not only do they both have GF in their names, but they both seem to have a supernatural history
yesterday's lie is by far, my favorite episode of the entire series
Yess, the worst part is that Luz didn't even have the time to explain how the "decision" to stay really came, like i don't think she explained about how Eda, King and Lilith were about to die unless she gave up the portal and helped them
Vee is so adorable in her semi-Luz form, especially when she wears the hat and shades. She looks so cute!
It's interesting how this is the second Disney show to have a character named Vee (the first being Vampirina, where the titular character was often called Vee).
@shaquille mccray I haven't seen much of Chuggington.
@shaquille mccray omg chuggingtons I used to watch that as a kid
I think the one thing missing in the portal door is something that would connect the demon relm to the human relm. It's like using a G.P.S. without a end location, or having point A without point B. So the portal Luz made is chose the Mirror dimention as a default. If Luz wants to go back, I think she needs an item that has a strong connection to the Human world.
your right on so many levels, but the item most likely, would be something she's held on to from the start.. LIKE THE GOOD WITCH AZURA BOOK, it would be another big decision for Luz
I think gravesfield is the only place that the portal can open to and the old shack was built around it
Part 2 of the season I think we will get a mother episode of her trying to figure a way to get Luz back and will get some surprise help from someone... May be Grunkle Ford? I hope so. He'd be the right person for such a rescue.
The chances of these are unlikely but it would be a shock
I feel like Jacob is gonna have a a MUCH bigger role in the merging of realms when that happens but huh that’s just a theory A OWL thoery
“There is a connection between... Phillip and Philips brother.”
-Quote of the century!
I'm going to forever appreciate Luz's expression when Jacob talked about his Mars theory
I took back everything I said about Vee. I used to call her “Evil Luz or creepy Luz.”
Damn, cant wait for the scene in Sonic Rangers where Sonic devolves into a monstrous bloodthirsty beast
Kinda like Unleashed, actually
The Werehog form?
Theory: Philip and his brother came to the boiling isles but only Philip made it out. Brother ended up staying and bonding with lil'rascal. At one point he had a kid, Belos. Belos then found eternal life made a grim walker, Hunter, and then the modern day.
I love your theory and your profile pic
Soo, as for the episodes spelling out something, so far we have
“Seek the key”
Whatever this could lead to, I don’t know. My mind immediately went “seek the key back home”, but that’s 8 extra letters, and we still have 11 episodes left.
If it helps the next 3 episodes spell out
Fea so since were coming up to something big. I'd say the 4th will start with an R. So we get "fear".
6:29 THAT IS THE OLD GOLDEN GUARD SYMBOL THAT HUNTER SEWS ON HIS CLOAK IN S2 EP 13
The biggest guess I have for those statues is those brothers founded the town and had unusual properties which was why they had statues. We’ll find out around episode 17 or 18. Usually the later half of the season.
I wonder if season 2 will end with the day of unity
also I really want to see how Luz and Vees. friends would interact with eachother
I've been thinking about what Philip said...that all his "companions" failed. What if the Owl Beast is really Philip's brother, just cursed and over time, forgot who he was? Then, ended up in the scroll and cursed/attached to Eda?
Let's play a game. It's called "Wine or pine." Wine means the comment aged like Wine, and pine means it aged like swallowing a pine branch.
Given how distraught Camila was over learning Luz ran away from home, it implies that she has a history with "someone" abandoning her in the past. 🤔
The 1st thing you mentioned is also my question, but the 2nd thing you mentioned might be a little wrong but we'll just see
I knew Eda and Stan were married! I knew it
Whack theory: King is a basilisk.
Is there going to be a video on the craig of the creek capture the flag
Vee's voice actor also voices Dolly from 101 Dalmatian Street, and Roger Craig Smith also voices Ezio Auditore from Assassin's Creed.
This is the second time in western animation where someone uses the la chancla on someone. Not sure if that’s the right way to say it.
"Every small town has its secrets, but Gravesfield has far more than most, and ours are buried deep, kept in the dark, and I have made it my life's work to shine a light into them."
I feel like Jacob is gonna be a problem later on. Wait I probably just jinxed it-
Well, Jacob does indeed have live archived footage of concrete proof.
Oh no
that symbol was probably the clawthorn crest, so belos had it to give to Hunter, and Eda has it from Belos's brother, the same family shared between the two
Last time I was this early, everyone still thought Vi was going to be a bad guy.
The most popular theory that exists right now after this episode is that Hunter is the clone of Philip's brother
Grimwalker means "The dead walking", and one of the ingredients to make one is "the bone of ORTET". I think, in this case, bone of ORTET means "bones of the deceased"
So, if Philip is Belos (questions as to how THAT happened could be answered in season 2B), then that means he went back to his brother's (supposed) gravesite (Eclipse Lake), got one of his bones, and used that to make Hunter
(jesus christ...)
That's the current theory right now
The scene with Luz and her mom was so emotional
I was reading again my “Gravity Falls Lost legends” book again after watching the video about Eda and Stan and I also noticed that on the next page of the one that has Eda’s wanted poster, when Dipper opens the Diary to read about the “Crawlspace” in the top corner of the diary you can partially read Boiling isles as the Title and something about legends and the word Wi… which I suppose is for witches.
As a Gumball fan, after seeing Jacob Hopkins as a random anonymous name, I felt proud
I love how the fandom did a flip of being suspicious about creepy luz, to loving and wanting to protect V
Man I can see why dana said season 2 is her true visions of the show and personaly forme luz used to be a boring mc in my opinion but season 2 made her way better
the symbol with the bird is the old golden guard symbol from any sport in a storm
My theory:
Luz's father could be Belos' brother.
Edit:
Whoop!
But there wasnt a villain in SU Future

The Roundtable I got some theories. I think the brothers were accidentally teleport to the Boiling
isles and saw wonder, while one brother tries his best to find a way home, his brother felt it was a change of face.
I doubt Azura is a real character so people needs to stop
What I think the newspaper says:
Every small town has its secrets, but Gravesfield has far more than most,
and ours [havent figured out] ep, kept in
and have made it my live's work to shine a light into
and I have found far more than most.

I think if Luz actually went through the Amity cube, it’d take her to Amity Mountain, Lake, Hill, etc.
9:00 i think the bird theme is just SOOO important in this series, remember hunter has a robin bird familiar too
Vee’s backstory and transformation scene seriously gave me MAJOR Hazel vibes from infinity train book 3 due to how much they have in common when it come to both successfully being clones who where created by villains, both want to escape the trauma they endured, and have human forms thanks to their shapeshifting property’s. I’m really excited to see where Vee and her story goes from here since i just have a feeling she’ll return later on in season 2.
I feel like one of the brothers had a child with one of the witches on the boiling Isles thus making a child that can't really use magic properly

2. it's *basilisk* (same spelling with the mythical creature), not "baskilisk"
