You are absolutely right, I have a 2020 CVO limited and have looked at this 120 anniversary road glide and I was very disappointed. Nothing new. I’m former LE from Augusta GA and hope to meet up with you in the future. Love your content brother.
Thank you very much! Thank you for watching and hopefully you’re subscribed to my UA-cam channel!👍🏾😊 ua-cam.com/users/BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle Also, thank you for your service!
I have a 2018 CVO Limited. I was going to get a Road Glide CVO but as you said, this year didnt have anything to make me want to spend 60k,,,Im glad...lol
I was hoping for big changes in the 23 models too. As a used bike buyer that instantly drops the value of the current models! Then I can afford them! I bought my current last year twin cam when it was 3 years old and 12k miles. Paid 1/3 what it cost new. Love it.
spot on review robert - i have a 2022 black road glide limited and due to not being a CVO I got no issues fixing it up and doing whatever. that bike was 32ish - I dont see remotely enough to make a change to this bike (and not a fan of the red and gold, but i get it some will love the color), and another item here - if you are tall and you want a road sofa or whatever there goes your Alcantara fancy seat on to a shelf in your storage shed, along with all the other stuff that has been replaced :)
The sad part is Harley doesn't have the same mindset as the customer with a price tag of 52K or more that motorcycle for sure should have come with the 131 or the new 135
I am old enough to say, " I did not spend that much for my first house" but that was 40 years ago. Lol. But if the 401 keeps growing, I would consider it.
I totally agree Robert. I have owned 6 CVO's so far, currently have 2, and a 2021 Ultra Bronze Armor, and this bike is the same as the last 3 or 4 years past except for paint as you stated. But the price is not!!.. Rumor is there are some big changes coming soon this year but we shall see... Thanks for the great video and take care...
Robert I was not impressed already having a 2019 Road Glide CVO I too thought it was going to have a larger engine. Keep on keeping us safe doing your exercise video's . I appreciate what you have done for me.✌🏽✌🏽💯
I got negative in my last post. new sub here. love your channel. I've been riding for 25 years seriously. I've noticed i've developed bad habits and am getting lazy with what used to be easy peasy for me-slow speed maneuvers. Your channel has lit a fire in me to practice more. I have a quick question. I have a 2015 flhp. I LOVE the high seat. why do you not prefer a high saddle like on the bikes you rode for so many years on duty?
Thank you for watching and subscribing to my UA-cam channel!👍🏾😁 I’m happy that my channel has been helpful to you! That makes all the time and effort that I put into this so worthwhile! The closer you can get to your handlebars and over them, the easier it is to maneuver the motorcycle at slow speeds.
I'm glad I pulled the trigger on the 2022 CVO instead of waiting for the 120th anniversary. I prefer the steel blue over the new color. But no way could you justify the price increase of over 10k from one year to the next. I think you got it spot on with 2023 lineup
Good Review Robert, things you said are so true. That’s why I’m on the fence about buying a new Road glide limited( No CVO) Harley-Davidson gives the customer nothing out of the gate. I’m a big guy, so i have to spend about $2500 out the gate, just to get the motorcycle to fit me, with New handlebars and an extended seat. Then like you said, extra coin on exhaust to be heard. My current Roadglide has all of this now. I just don’t know if it’s worth it. IMO. Great review.
It's a sharp bike .I just can't justify spending that amount of money and have to spend more for more custom parts .Like I said it's sharp love the paint .
Robert i have a 21 road glide limited. In 22 they started making it in a cvo. For the cost difference, i just dont see it. Im happy with the 114 for now.
The OTD price is half of my mortgage for my house! I saw one at Pensacola H-D last week. I wasn’t really impressed. Looking forward to Columbus in May!
In my opinion, There will never be another great CVO such as the 2019 mako shark blue fade paint. Now That’s a paint job! They should have made a series of colors in that scheme. HD is slippin’ the toilet is circling
Thanks for the review. Always love your videos. H-D really needs to step up. The only 2023 CVO released so far is extremely lame. There's noting exciting about it. I've owned quite a few H-D's and CVO models. CVO models used to really stand out and did actually offer value for the extreme price. Biggest available factory engine, best accessories from the collection or parts catalogue. The paint was also special. Not just two tone variations and flake. The 2023 CVO Roadglide paint is nice. They could have changed the lines and it would not look like a 1980's Goldwing. I keep looking for a reason to come back to H-D from Indian. As of now, they are not getting my attention. I'm currently riding a 2022 Pursuit Premium.
They'll sell all the cvos they make but I feel the touring line is falling so far behind the competition and yet hd is still increasing the price. Hard to justify when there's so much competition.
I had a 2011 CVO,, spent $37,000 out the door in 2011,, had some medical issues in 2016 I was unable to ride,, Dealer only offered $ 17,000, Just saying,, CVO take the biggest depreciation, I'm able to ride again, but hard to buy something that goes down in value So fast..
Bikes are depreciating assets and it’s all relative. IMO the CVO gives the best overall return on investment upon resale, compared to non-CVO. Think about it, buyers/dealers will not pay for any add ons done to a used bike. All buyers care about is typically expected used value. With the CVO is already features all the upgrades. On top of that when applying for a loan, a CVO hold a MSRP as is…if you go non-factory custom you would be hard pressed to find a loan to cover the purchase
It’s true everyone has their own opinion, but for me and the price, I expect’ the upgraded suspension, pipes, at least 10” bars, a better seat and of course, a bigger engine cuz it is a CVO… a bit disappointing for the reasons mentioned and for the reason you mentioned.
It's pretty but it's time HD steps into the 21st century. Every other flagship touring bike comes with adjustable electronic suspension. Spending $60k and having to drop even more to make it handle well is ridiculous.
NICE bikes but too 'spensive for me...for the first time in history, the naysayers are correct. HD's are way over priced at the moment. I'm negative because i've been buying new since around 2000 and always got a great deal....now, not so much-their entire line up has gotten out of control. They can "surcharge" my ass.
CVO paint ,for some reason, always looks tackey to me compared to regular paint jobs . I replaced the crappy shocks, stereo, seat and handlebars, on my limited, and still spent 8 to 10 thousand less than a CVO! Do I have the finances for a CVO? Absolutely! Will I ever buy a CVO? Absolutely not! After paying that ridiculous price ,I would still need to replace the aforementioned parts .
Harley has one major problem they think America is nothing but millionaires. Price has been a problem for many many years. While I have owned many Harleys from $500 panheads to $20,000 Softail Deluxes and plenty in between. Now in my 70’s a trike has many advantages but one main drawback. It’s priced like a high end pickup truck . I feel the need for food, electric, insurance so an overpriced bike is not in my future. I’ll have to stick with my 59 Pan and 2016 Softail Deluxe. Just can’t ride either as much as I like.
Disappointed. Now that the new CVO SG and RG are out, with the 121 motor and new dash/infotainment system, this bike, at this price, is a HUGE disappointment. How could H-D not include those upgrades in this flagship bike? SMH...
Good video. And your right for the money you should get more. You and John make me laugh
Thank you very much!

Good info here , you and cycle fanatics are a great combo.
Thanks! I agree!

Thanks! Good point on the seat.
Love the very honest review! Thank you!
It’s my pleasure. 😊
You’re right about that because when I brought my 2017 CVO limited with the 114. The next year they came out with the 117 so I felt I got cheated.
Love the bonus footage! Are you guys having way too much fun…… NO SUCH THING!!😊
😁👍🏾
The sad part is Harley doesn't have the same mindset as the customer with a price tag of 52K or more that motorcycle for sure should have come with the 131 or the new 135
And still no LED all around gotta love/hate harley!!!!!
No it has LED’s all the way around.
I am old enough to say, " I did not spend that much for my first house" but that was 40 years ago. Lol. But if the 401 keeps growing, I would consider it.

Good review. Thx. It’s not like I can afford it anyway, but I appreciate your honest review.
Thank you very much!

Will do!
That was funny at the end. 😂

Yeah Robert, just like the 2023 Goldwing, the only change is the color. Not Harley ppl but this was a nice review.
Thank you very much!

@@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle i bought it in 2012 brother.
It's a sharp bike .I just can't justify spending that amount of money and have to spend more for more custom parts .Like I said it's sharp love the paint .
it doesn't even have stretched saddlebags on it. My '20 street glide special even has those.
Limited models don’t come with stretched bags.
Robert i have a 21 road glide limited. In 22 they started making it in a cvo. For the cost difference, i just dont see it. Im happy with the 114 for now.

hahaha...Good stuff, looks like you guys were having some fun!
Thralls! We always do!👍🏾
Good to hear your thoughts on this beautiful bike- closest I’m going to be getting to one unless l win the lottery 😂
The OTD price is half of my mortgage for my house! I saw one at Pensacola H-D last week. I wasn’t really impressed. Looking forward to Columbus in May!
Me too!👍🏾
I agree with you 100%. Same bike, different paint job with a crappy suspension. Not worth the big bucks.
In my opinion, There will never be another great CVO such as the 2019 mako shark blue fade paint.
Now That’s a paint job! They should have made a series of colors in that scheme.
HD is slippin’ the toilet is circling
I have to agree. Love that color!

Looks very nice
It is!
Lmao so
Much fun 👊👊👊
Absolutely!!
It’s a nice paint job
It is.
I haven't been too excited about HD either, especially since they came out with the gunship gray in 2022. They totally screwed us 2018 CVO guys.
I’m sorry but for $60K I demand a 131 engine at the minimum!
At 60K it should be custom made to your preference
it's cool looking 🎉 pricey !
I had a 2011 CVO,, spent $37,000 out the door in 2011,, had some medical issues in 2016 I was unable to ride,, Dealer only offered $ 17,000, Just saying,, CVO take the biggest depreciation,

Yep, looks like a Goldwing.
60K and really the only extra thing you get is saddle bag guards that all CVOs should come with quite frankly. For my money, that'd be a nope.
Facts!
Great vid. I like your perspective and agree it’s just ….Mehhhh.
Thank you very much! Thank you for watching and hopefully you’re subscribed to my UA-cam channel!👍🏾😊 ua-cam.com/users/BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle
This one very very pricey. I can buy 2 goldwings .
It’s just a typical CVO with different paint job…no must have upgrades from previous year. Very nice but nothing to get excited about.
It’s true everyone has their own opinion, but for me and the price, I expect’ the upgraded suspension, pipes, at least 10” bars, a better seat and of course, a bigger engine cuz it is a CVO… a bit disappointing for the reasons mentioned and for the reason you mentioned.
It already has upgraded slip-ons, 12" bars, and a much better (depending on what "better" means to you) seat.
The cruisers are sport bikes. It’s like a amg vs a Maybach.
It's pretty but it's time HD steps into the 21st century. Every other flagship touring bike comes with adjustable electronic suspension. Spending $60k and having to drop even more to make it handle well is ridiculous.

I'm not a fan of the color set up. Just seems like something from the 80s.

But he cheated 😂 he's got a training wheel 😅
😂
I bought a brand new 2021 F-350 for $50K SuperCab , STX 7.3 V8 ! Are you Freakin nuts ? Lmfao 🤣
😂
Pretty sure those trashing it only buys black bikes.
Not a fan of this bike
