Ya know Russell, if you'd keep the weeds and brush wacked down around the Cabin so you can see the rocks, stumps and all the rest of the stuff you have lying around, it would make it easier on yourself moving things without breaking your neck trying to maneuver around them. You have plenty of woodland to let go natural...but clean up your hillside, it'll be prettier and have a better view. Get your dock fixed, your trail ready for winter so it's easier for you to travel with the ATV. You have a beautiful spot for your cabin, but I think you procrastinate about a lot of things 😢 Have been watching your channel for some time now...and enjoy the scenery...but please invest in a good weed Wacker. For your wife, behind the cabin, clear her a good patch in the sun so she can actually have a nice garden...maybe a raised bed or 2. ...someplace out of the brush and trees...dock would be nice and easier for her to get in and out of kayak...a quiet place to sit and look across the pond.
I live in S.E Tennessee and if you did not keep your brush clean, snakes, rats, I don't want to think about it. Oh how they would love your cabin. It fightens me every time you step off your porch. I do worry about way you are so far away from neighbors. Do you have any children. If you do , do they visit and you never talk about them. They should help or at least visit . Love your videos.
Russell, what are you going to do? Live in a jungle? Get a super weed eater and enjoy less flies and bugs. City Girl you are a super woman (lady) helping him move that shelter took some work for sure. God Bless you both have a super weekend.
Imagine how beautiful the lot around your house would be cut back, landscaped, etc. So much can be used from nature to adorn your lot.......rock gardens, twig edges, stone or wood chip paths, and on and on.
I think we are all waiting for all the weeds to be tidied up around property to make it look better….also nothing much is going to grow in shade.. clear a space in a sunny spot for garden beds.. maintenance is gruelling I’m sure but I bet you will get great rewards around the cabin ❤
You need a Weed Wacker/Trimmer Russell (?)………..good teamwork with you and CG moving the storage tent……….. a weed whacker will tidy up all of those weeds around your cabin, cool dishwasher !!!!…….. take care !!
this was very interesting to watch as I was not sure how you managed to not stop and have a couple of beers, but possibly you did and edited it out. I do think a weed whipper would be a sound purchase as some of the growth is just small and would make walking a good deal easier. CG is definitely a great helper and never complains, Good luck on your idea and hopefully you find the time to pursue it. Stay safe and keep positive..
Weed Quaker needed, love the strawberries 😘, y’all did a great job on a hard project, love CG, cute dishwasher, love your place but does need some TLC on the grounds Russel, instead of walking, do some weed cutting, it’s quite stress relieving and the heart rate up, also such a beautiful satisfying look when finished. I just don’t think you enjoy yard work and it shows 😂❤. Get to building, winter is quickly approaching!
Have you cleared out the beaver lately. It looks like the water is getting too close to the cabin. I like when you build things. Sooo you and city girl get to building that workshop. It’s going to be nice😊
Russell, I think you would greatly benefit from a quality gas weed whacker/brush cutter. Also use T9 for your rusty tools after cleaning them and they will be like brand new. I feel your pain after having moved from Arizona to Ohio.
Hi Russell and City Girl. There are two types of strawberry plants. June bearing-only produce in June. Everbearing-produce all year long. There are many kinds of strawberry plants. Some are bred for sweetness and some for size. I have always had strawberries in my garden. They are so much better than store bought. Seems like your garden is doing well. Have a great weekend.
I finally did what you did. Cleaned all the crap out of the shed we have and using it as a workshop. Now setting up the shop. Building a garden equipment storage next to it and a small greenhouse next to that. By winter it should be finished, hopefully. It is lots of work to do what you are, but the rewards will be awesome.
Some advice from someone who has done this on multiple occasion, make your shop bigger than you are thinking. You will fill it quickly. You can also get a neoprene seat cover for your atv . Cabelas may have them. ,
I was watching this clip of you and City Girl taking this shed apart and cleaning. I wanted to come and help you but I live in Tennessee. I really felt for the 2 of you but you both were laughing so it looked like you were enjoying doing this work together. Happy to see both of you again. Take care and please be careful while working around your home together. Sending love to Willow and June Bug!!!!
That was a lot of work! You and CG worked quickly and you both make a great team ❤ It was lovely hearing the sound of rain and a slight rumble of thunder. Good luck with upholstering the seat. Until next time, have a great weekend! Pea soup!.
Hi I have the heavy duty square tube 12X20. Im going to metal roof this one. Helped the neighbor last year to strap and metalize his round pipe shed for snow loading...great upgrade so you dont have to shovel snow off every snowfall. Oh and Rainbow auto up here in Bancroft does seat upholstery...look up my review on Google maps...great job
Wow that shelter was a beast to move.. but y’all work so well together.. yes I’d use the sticky vinyl.. instead of what looks like waterproof canvas..( I sew a bit from time to time).. enjoy those ever bearers.. they look scrumptious and have a nice weekend..❤️☮️
Haha I was also surprised that you guys managed to move that shelter thingy all-in-one day with the stuff. That's crazy that you got hail yesterday. We had a massive thunder lightning storm and it struck my neighbour's ice pick. She was throwing it out but the city didn't pick up LOL and left a hole in her yard as well as there's grass and soil all over the street. It was a pretty intense storm. ❤❤
I used an electric staple gun. I started at one corner and worked it down pulling tight between each staple. It took a while. Not something I want to do too often.
You and city girl did an amazing job moving the shed , Look's really good there. Nice of Bill to send you off the new seat cover material. strawberries look deliciouse nice size as well. nice video Russel.
Find an automotive upholstery shop and have them put the seat cover on. I worked in a powersports shop, and we took all our seats out to get covered. Less head aches and look much better when done.
Great job on moving that shed....can't believe you did it in one day! How did you tie it down? Those strawberries are incredible! Thanks for sharing Russell!
Thought you got the atv to tow or winch the turtle upright. Good job. You might have to use upholstery tacks, like for leather, and hammer them in while pulling tight and smooth. You got it.
Russell love the way you speed up the clip while working. Wouldn't it be great if we could all work that fast. Things would really get done quicker. Great job you and City Girl did. Hope to see more clips of the Two of you working together again.
Great seeing you Russell and City Girl. I miss ya both, often can't find your posts, or live streams. 🙄🤣 Hugs n prayers. Enjoyed my visit. 🤗 💖 💖 Blessed weekend.
I wonder if spray adhesive would hold the fabric onto the seat .and staple it after you trim close to the edge. The adhesive vwill hold the fabric from slipping around.
Russell - I’m pretty sure you need to remove the current seat cover before replacing it with new material. 🤷♀️ I don’t think the staples will go through 2 layers of material.
I was thinking a couple of times he should try that Vinal repair they sell to patch leather couches, cut what you need and stick on. Though after seeing the seat better in this video I think it’s beyond that type of repair.
Hi Guys, pretty heavy job with shelter. We need exactly same shelter like you've got. Where did you buy it? Can you sent me a brand and model of it? Thank you, Hugo
Russell. Go to the store and buy some new Foam. Putting the new material over the old stuff wont last too long. Man. Granny needs to come visit you for awhile!
Maybe time for another small cabin out of wood for a work shop? Because you guys have very hard winters there. Just sayin'. Love you channel. I have been watching for years now!
I always worry about the both of you while you are working. I am afraid that you are going to get hurt but you both look very confident in yourselves while doing the work that you do. Great job of moving your workshop Russell and City Girl. Where are you trying to move it to?
Russell. You're so funny. Get someone build you a building or buy one and have it setup. Down here in Tennessee, you can pay monthly. And get someone to bush hog for you
Here is the shot drink mix recipe you wanted. 1 cup milk 1 cup rumchata 4 oz box instant chocolate pudding 8 oz cool whip Mix together put in shot glasses and freeze for 3 hours
Set goals for yourself, one a day. Helps motivate you. Also don't sell your wrting cheap, it is a part of you. Put more value on what you do. You are greatly blessed and can accomplish so much
Hey Russel Thanks For the shout out the fabric I sent you is designed for snowmobile seats 4 way stretch vinyl -60 degree cold crack both pcs same fabric just different finish not Russel you well want to pull the old staples an fabric off less to staple thru and any water well be down at bottom edge
No floor in the tent? And get a weed wacker and clean up the property. All the bugs and deer flies will slack off. Go into town and go to a fabric store and get a decent piec of foam. City Girl will show you where one is......

AGREE. Bless her heart for trying. But, life could be easier!
Us Tennessee women would never stand for that. I see an iron skillet in his future!

That frame would make a great greenhouse for City Girl. Plus you can use the tarp part to cover your wood pile or something.

Enjoyed the video thanks Russell. Your new shop will be great, I have the upmost confidence in you.
Thanks Harlan!
That shelter is pretty good to stand up to several winters.
Just a lot of small holes. Meh.
Have you cleared out the beaver lately. It looks like the water is getting too close to the cabin. I like when you build things. Sooo you and city girl get to building that workshop. It’s going to be nice😊
Jill the water level would have to rise another 100 feet before it affected the cabin.

The wise man built his house upon a rock..
I am sure you must have heard that song before x
Russell, I think you would greatly benefit from a quality gas weed whacker/brush cutter. Also use T9 for your rusty tools after cleaning them and they will be like brand new. I feel your pain after having moved from Arizona to Ohio.
You were reading my mind lol.
I'm all out of breath just watching you and City Girl. Just love your videos Russell.
I love seeing the pond and weather and all your projects. 😊

Another great video. 😊 The rain sound at the end was outstanding. Thank you. 😊
I really did not appreciate how big the shelter was until you moved it. Good job getting that done!
Hey Russell! You do need a weed whacker. So is a work shop looming in your near future? Pea soup.🙂👍👍
What beautiful strawberry plants yummy!
Great video Russell!! You both did a super job on moving the shelter. Good luck on the new construction!!
Thats what the meaning of everbearing means. Good looking strawberries !
I used an electric staple gun. I started at one corner and worked it down pulling tight between each staple. It took a while. Not something I want to do too often.

Wow Russell great setup , WHY didn't you cut the weeds with a weed eater
Did you finish the bathroom? Have you completed the flooring through out the cabin?
Can’t believe the stuff you had in that shelter. Still don’t understand why dirt floor was better than the platform you already had?
When you're reupholstering the seat, start from the middle low point and work your way out.
Find an automotive upholstery shop and have them put the seat cover on. I worked in a powersports shop, and we took all our seats out to get covered. Less head aches and look much better when done.
Really like how you did your strawberries.
Great job on moving that shed....can't believe you did it in one day! How did you tie it down? Those strawberries are incredible! Thanks for sharing Russell!

Thanks Mark!
Another awesome video thanks sharing love watching the reality of life in the cabin. You guys make an amazing team whatever you do together 🙏👏🏼👏🏼
Now that you ask ..could be interesting to know how it’s going with your bathroom 😅
That workshop move went quick, good thing you didn,t have much in it lol ha ha (just kidding)..great video and stay safe 🙂
Great seeing you Russell and City Girl. I miss ya both, often can't find your posts, or live streams. 🙄🤣 Hugs n prayers. Enjoyed my visit. 🤗 💖

Thanks Rus. Great Video
Happy Friday City Girl and Russell😊
You guys work so Great together..
That couch is going to be a mice haven!!!!!!!
You two work very well together! Nice bedrock to tie in your footings!
Are there any fish in your pond and how much water does the dishwasher use?
Nothing worth fishing for, Richie. The dishwasher uses about 4L per load.

HAHAH just trying to comprehend all the ATV Trips to bring that all in.
Always take the “short cut” Russel. 😂😆😂
What me? Never.
Good job you guys did moving the shelter. Just hope you pegged it down so it doesn’t blow away. Cheers mate 🇦🇺
City girl is strong glad she was there to help you ! She great ❤
I agree with another comment you reall need to keep your weeds chopped down it would be much nicer and especially seeing where there is dog poop.
City girl, you were right, it did hit the corner of the cabin. Kenny from Western North Carolina
Love your videos. Do anything on the dogs, sky, moon, stars and drone shots of your area. Wildlife cam. Thanks.
Drone shots coming up, Joe.
It is more fun with city girl i def enjoy when she is there ❤
Well done on the shelter move, that is exactly how I would have done it 😂😂. Keep on keepin’ on!
Don't worry about the inverter fan. It's not intrusive to the audio.
It's horribly intrusive to everything we do on deck, especially enjoying the view on the swing.
Working in the woods, younger days, smoke from cigarettes kept the mosquitoes down.
Nice progress!
love your video today russell ......cheers 🍻
Thanks Pete!
I also think you need a weed eater too!
Which model did you have in mind, Jill?
Good to here from you guys😊👍👍👍👍👌👌😉😉😉
Maybe time for another small cabin out of wood for a work shop? Because you guys have very hard winters there. Just sayin'. Love you channel. I have been watching for years now!
Great video... You made City Girl work hard, looked like ÿòu made
Loòk busy
We are watching your older videos of building the place, we are wondering did you work at building the place or just film it ???
Russell, you should’ve been in front to direct where you wanted the tent to go….I kept expecting you were gonna run over City Girl, yikes, lol
👍🏻👍🏻
Did your solar panels survive yesterdays storms? Lindsay, Peterborough east had golf ball size hail.
How did you fit all that stuff in!!!! 😳😳😳
Hey Russell now that didn't take long to clean out. Oh wait you were in time lapse - my bad. But seriously, you two work well together. 👍
If Russell had a weed wacker he still would not use it,likes looking at all the weeds, maybe he would be able to find things.
I have that drawknife. Less rust though
And get someone to bush hog for you
super big job but apart the reason to clean this up, is there another reason to move the workshop? (sorry to ask)
Here is the shot drink mix recipe you wanted.
1 cup milk
1 cup rumchata
4 oz box instant chocolate pudding
8 oz cool whip
Mix together put in shot glasses and freeze for 3 hours
Nice, thanks Carla.
Just saying hi. I'm excited for winter videos.

Russell did you ever finish the bathroom?.
Why didn’t you put the flooring back under the shelter???? Can’t let all your stuff sit on the ground
Self-adhesive leather pads might do the trick for you Russell? Happy day's from 🇩🇰
Russell get some buddies together and build a proper shop so your stuff is safe from the elements.
No floor in the tent? And get a weed wacker and clean up the property. All the bugs and deer flies will slack off. Go into town and go to a fabric store and get a decent piec of foam. City Girl will show you where one is......
Do`nt you have any superglue!!!!
Hey! Where is the floor. You forgot to put it down. Are you going to leave it that way.
Come on Russell Shawn James could have done that in an hour. lol
In no universe would I ever be faster than Shawn at doing stuff.
Why did R get the light end? Pea Soup ✌
Buy a weed wacker and clean up that yard.
Which model do you suggest?
@@RaspberryRockOffGridCabin I would suggest the same brand as your chainsaw.
👍
whats wrong with using some good duck tape on your seat until you figure out what your gonna do with it?
anchor the shelter
OH CRAP ! lol
If I was your wife, I would have stayed in the city. Too bad you couldn't get some of your buddies to come and help you.🤔
