    Your dream of camping full time is probably not that far out of reach. The commentary and editing skills in recent videos I would argue have surpassed some of the big youtube campers. With the subscriber count continuing to climb it may skyrocket soon. Keep up the good work.

      You really do a fabulous job filming & editing these videos. That site seems wonderful and sometimes things don't go perfectly. That's life! Accidents happen, stay safe. Love seeing you out in the outdoors. BTW, I was riding my horse out in the middle of nowhere a couple of years ago and heard very loud whoops (5 or 6). Definitely had the hair on the back of my neck standing up!😮

    Weird happenings in a forest:- I was at a company conference at a castle in the UK that had a gorgeous forest nearby. Our boss said “let’s have a walk in the forest” so he and four of us went along - after about 2 hours - the weirdest thing happened - he said “ok guys, let’s go back and I’ll buy you all lunch” - now that was WEIRD.
    Great video as usual - thanks. Now subscribed.

    It's funny to think Larry and Kenny are spooking each other across states, things that go bump in the night -LMAO! So entertaining between the two of you, I've been watching Larry from the beginning and love his two fur babies, and Kenny's Toby :). So much fun to watch just stay safe and have faith in God that he has your back at all times.

    Great video! What a wonderful setup you have! I really ENJOY your camping videos! We used to do a lot of camping but I broke my leg and being 78 years old it did not heal very well! So now I just able to enjoy our area in East Tennessee deep in the woods on 5 acres riding my power wheelchair. When life gives you lemons...LIFE IS GOOD! Take care my friend!👍🙏

      I live in SE TN. I don't think anyone who knows me would believe I'm watching camping videos because I had my fill of camping when I was growing up in S FL. But these are so peaceful, and Kenny remains so calm and reassuring. And the nature shots are just gorgeous. Thoroughly enjoy every one, although his nights alone, alone just "out there" somewhere make me a little nervous for him. I remind myself, if I'm watching it, he's okay, ha!

    Great video. Thanks. I was camping, no other people were there, empty campground, dark quiet night, and I heard foot steps crunching the dry fall leaves coming from behind me. I turned on my headlamp and spun around expecting a zombie attack. It was a snowshoe hare, making just one hop at a time. Wheww.

    I tracked poachers for 20 years in the foothills of the Rockies/Canada; me, my horse, 2 mules and my tracking dogs, I have never heard a noise or any sign I couldn't identify. My horse would pick up the scent of anything threatening long before my dogs, I would shush my dogs so I could spot what was coming/man or beast ...I've come across thousands of dead carcasses/piles of bones and reported each one, not one bigfoot lol... There are probably 5 million trail cameras out there between American and Canadian hunters and not one of an identifiable bigfoot....My Father always told me confront your fears, words I live by except when in Africa lol...Thanks for the video and ouch on the head, good thing you're not on blood thinners...

    I'm in love with fishing in Canada and watch many videos from there.... drive through mn often and also stay at the northern mn resorts mostly around Cook and Ely I'm born and raised in Minnesota. Haven't lived there for many years.... sadly. I love your videos and your enthusiasm and positivity! The videos take me "home." Thanks. Maybe others have said this, but supper comes from the days of farming when dinner was the big noon meal for a hard working day. At night it was supper, lighter meal with usually leftovers. My dad thought people who called the evening meal dinner, were snobs. Thanks again. 70 something now in Illinois.

    Thanks Mr. Kenny for another great campout! I love each of the videos as they are all different and unique. Your pork ribs turned out great and I love the idea of the apple juice as marinade and steamer. So sorry you bonked your head on your camper slide. I yelled out and winched in pain when I saw all the blood. I have to tell you that your video footage with the beautiful birds singing in the background is very 'soul healing.' I follow other UA-camrs who use a lot of stock video footage in their own videos. Most of the images I see are not nearly as good as yours. I'd love to have a few hours of Kenny's video with the nice music you have played in yours. My students would love it playing the background. Thank you again! Take care, stay safe and keep warm & cozy. Big hugs to you all from sunny Florida! 🤗💗🙏🎉

    Once again great video, I can attest that there is nothing wrong with those woods - my hunting camp is just a couple miles from that shooting range - the place that was mowed on the left with the parking space and trail on the right - we're about 1 1/4 miles back from the logging mess. Spend almost every weekend out there in the summer - and no bigfoot yet. There are moose out there - we've had 2 bulls on the cameras again this year, and have seen 2 cows last year. The bull came by my stand last deer season - got my attention, huge animals. You might get a northern out of Big Rice, but you're better off riding the bike down to Pfieffer lake - bass, perch, sunnies and I've heard walleye, but I haven't fished it for a long time, so no guarantees. Thanks for all the entertainment, keep them coming.

    • @KennyOfAllTrades

      Although there's no markers, just a few miles back at the railroad crossing next to the gravel pit you were looking at staying, is where, in 1934 Bobbi the Father of the Finnish deer herd was caught - him and 6 other fawns were shipped back to Finland to help repopulate their herd which now numbers 21,000 - some interesting history to google. We've often said we should contact Finland to see if they could return the favor. Parts of the foundation of the Neimi homestead can still be seen along the river there. And a few miles from there lived Otto Walta the Finnish superman - lots of interesting stories and folklore about him to to read on google - kind of the areas Paul Bunyan. So what may seems as just a long dirt road can sometimes hold a bit of forgotten history. Hope that helps to break some of the bad aura feelings from the weekend.

He was headed up to his cabin and recognized my Arctic Fox. I couldn't believe it when I heard his voice from the front office asking if someone named Kenny worked in the building. A little extra for all the fuel used!
    Kenny, you were hard on yourself this video! Lucky to have survived it LOL. Your slide corner looked like a crime scene. Darn head cuts bleed like crazy.
    The boat with the sickle bar mower on the front was awesome!
    Kenny, I have had so many weird experiences....not in the woods though. When I first started at the S/O, I was a C/O. I worked the 23:00-0700 shift. At the time we were rated as the most secure County Jail in the State. One night I was sitting at the desk in the kitchen finishing a report and I literally had a loaf of bread fly off the rack at me ten feet away. Another night I walked past the employee restroom in the housing access hallway and the water turned on in the sink.....knob turned...no one around. Same as when I was cleaning the walk in front of the pods and I heard a door slam....my coworker was in a entirely different part of the building.
    About thirty years ago we were house hunting and went to a house for sale next to my bosses rental house, I walked five feet in the house and got totally creeped out and couldn't go any further, couldn't get out quick enough. My boss had previously worked for a auctioneer cleaning out houses for auction. When I told her about it the next day she said she helped clean out the house for a estate. The owner committed suicide with a shotgun in the kitchen. When they pulled out the stove you can imagine what they found behind it.
    I have the strange ability to "witch" I can find water lines, buried electrical lines. I have helped a local Genealogist plot old cemeteries with unmarked graves. I can tell whether it's a male or female buried by the rotation of my copper wire. My Detective at work called B.S. to it until we went to a local cemetery........she changed her mind.
    So many things can't be explained......that's what makes life so interesting!
    Hope you are all healed up and ready for your next adventure......don't forget the Band Aids and Triple Antibiotic Creme!

    • @KennyOfAllTrades
      @KennyOfAllTrades  Рік тому +2

      That's an awesome story! I believe that people can be sensitive to residual energy. That's such a cool gift! I wonder if it runs I the family. I would imagine genetics has something to do with it. That's so cool! I have a few stories from our jail as well. I'm not as sensitive as you. But I've heard crying from the trusties cell at night when we it was empty. There was an incident in that cell at one time. I do think every can remain here after an incident takes place. Thank you so much for your generosity! You are the biggest supporter of the channel, and it's really appreciated.

      @@KennyOfAllTrades Thanks Kenny I love where you go and what you do. I am RVing vicariously through you. It's just like being there.
      The only one else in my family that could douse was my cousin. He was good at underground water. I have tried to have my three boys try it. One that tried couldn't, the other two are too freaked out about it to try LOL!
      After my Dad passed, about a month later I had a dream of being with Dad. It got me past the grieving stage. When my Mom commented to my wife how much happier I was she told Mom about what went on in my dream.....Mom was shocked......it was the very same dream my Dad had about a month after his Dad passed, to the exact detail. I was six when Grandad passed so Dad would have never told me about it.
      Once when the kids were little we took them to the K.of C. picnic. The food area was under a large circus type tent. It looked like a rain was coming up and I had a "feeling" and told Caryl we needed to leave NOW!!! About twenty minutes after we left, a storm collapsed the tent. Several people injured. Another time at a restaurant we were sitting in our booth and all of a sudden I told Caryl to move.....sure enough a waitress with a full tray came from behind me and dropped the whole tray in front of us.....I saw it ten seconds before it happened.
      I can tell time within two minutes.....freaks Caryl out a bit.....but it's handy!
      I come from people of the land, farmers and woodsmen since they got here in 1736. I really think people of the land might be more sensitive. The old timers from Appalachia, Native Americans are good examples.
      I think there is so much electromagnetism and life force in us that it doesn't always end at death. I also wonder for whatever reason maybe some people have more attractive electromagnetism to repulsive electromagnetism. I don't know Kenny, I try not to overthink anything anymore LOL!!!

    • @KennyOfAllTrades
      @KennyOfAllTrades  Рік тому +2

      @richardkoch8752 That's very true. I believe in residual energy as well. I've held people's hands, looked them in their eyes, and told them everything was going to be ok during their last moments. It can be a very peaceful experience. I've also witnessed the opposite. I could see the total fear on their faces as they slipped away. I also had the opportunity to deliver a baby girl on the floor of their living room. Well... Mom did all the work. I was just playing catcher and giving emotional support. Dispatch said the ambulance was 20 minutes out, and mom was crowning. I knew it was show time. Seeing the full circle of life is amazing and makes me think there's more to it than we know.

      @richardkoch8752 Рік тому +2

      @@KennyOfAllTrades Kenny, you put that so well! I really like that.
      When the County Coroner was out of town I was it. I always looked at it as being a honor. You're right, some looked so peaceful......others not so much. Getting the honor of helping a woman bring a new life into the world never happened for me......that had to be great!
      When I was six I took on a early 60's Ford in front of School......Ford won: leg broken in two places, crushed ankle, broken hip. Things went to frame to frame slow motion. I was a tough kid....crawled out of the street.
      I've had two experiences in recent years where it was a flip of the coin where I would wake up. Each time though I had the most peaceful feeling that I have ever felt. It was a amazing feeling.

    I love your videos. Sorry you hurt yourself. That would be me. Hitting my head. I was at a park with my boys. We called it the wooden park. The playground was all wood. The swings, and nooks and crannies to hide in. Big enough for parents to play as well. I was chasing the kids through the tunnels and did duck. I hit my head so hard I went down. I got up and my head was bleeding. But well worth it to play on the bridges and castles with the kids. Anyway, Sorry got long winded. I just put the notification on. Don't want to miss anything. I was a little late on watching this one, but it was a good one! Who knew Walmart could come to the rescue! My fav scenes: drone flying over you to lake; lifting the shade to find you seated by the fire ring, and your fireside chat about not being afraid! Your editing is phenomenal! The ribs looked delicious, I think I'd try searing them over the grill before putting into skillet, that way you don't have to handle them as much when hot. They're perfect when they come off the bone like that! Full time You Tubing, always a good plan for retirement, when you don't have to worry about a "day" job. We'll be picking up our new AF about this time next year and plan to do a few trips to decide whether we want to full-time truck camp or not, mostly dispersed/boon docking, not interested in campgrounds unless it's for one night for dump and taking on water. Hey Kenny! Love the videos! My family has a cabin in East Texas on 100acres. It’s on a creek that changed paths and now is slowly growing up. This property has been in my family for 100 years. I grew up out in those woods. I can tell you so many crazy stories, but the craziest and creepiest was one when I was about 15 or so.
    We had a big New Year’s Eve party down there, we had the family and we were stuffed full in that cabin! On the night before New Year’s Eve we had a giant bonfire, this fire was about 6 feet tall and we were burning out old brush too. It was heavily controlled.
    Well, there’s about 10 of us outside and we’re just sitting there watching the fire die down, we hear screaming that sounded like a man and a hunting dogs bark. We had music on at first so we thought it was just the sounds of us talking and laughing. My brother in law had turned the music off and we heard it again. There was clearly a man yelling for help and that he was lost followed by a dog barking that was definitely with him. We kept listening and we noticed,….the tone and barking never changed in urgency or frequency. We started calling out to the man and we’d listen. Again we heard “Help me! Help! Help me! I’m lost!”we tried to ask where he was, but we got nothing. It was decided that Half of the men folk grabbed their rifles, flashlights and Lanterns, and rope and other tools needed in case they needed to rescue this poor man and his dog. The other half, my half, would start building the fire back up again, we grabbed extra lights, and rifles just in case. We were ready in case we needed to act fast. We said goodbye and heard the men folk out in the woods calling out and we still heard that man and his dog, except over time it got softer until it finally got quiet. When my dad, my brother in law, my uncles got back, their account was, “not once did we hear him as clearly as we did at the cabin, we saw no lights, heard no dogs, and we eventually heard no man.” I’m 40 years old now and I still have never forgotten nor have I ever heard that distress call again. It was blood chilling. We called and reported it to the local police station in town. No one was ever reported missing in that area. I don’t believe in ghost stuff too much, but I think that night, in those deep east Texas woods, in the devil’s pocket as it’s known, I heard ghosts that night. ❤️

      Right now, I'm deep in the woods. I have a little bit of cell service because of the Hiboost. I just finished fishing, and I'm gonna start a fire soon. Your story has officially creeped me out... I swear...if I hear some start screaming, I'm going home. You will have to watch Tuesdays video. You will see if I stay out here all night. That was a good story! Thanks 👍

      Oh I still get creeped out lol but I am always hyper aware of my surroundings. That’s thick woods just like this video here and I still get the heebie jeebies once in a while. New subscriber here. What a really nice campsite and all to yourself! You were talking about Bigfoot. I haven't seen one either but I kinda hope they're out there. I do have a story though. In the summer of 2021 we said to heck with covid and went on a month long road trip to 14 different states visiting Mt Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Yellowstone, Olympic National Forest. While we were in Oregon on the 101 we had trouble finding a campground that wasn't full so we decided to just camp overnight at a trailhead that wound up a densely forested mountain. There was a couple in a red pickup with a camper shell with the same idea so I felt safe. The next morning the red truck was gone but we decided even though it was so secluded we would stay for another night so we didn't pack up and leave. My husband decided to take his drone out and take some pictures of the surrounding forest. Later that night as we were about to go to sleep we decided to look at the photos on his phone he'd taken with the drone . They were just random pics of the forest trees and such. However one of the pictures kinda looked a little different. I didn't notice it but something caught my husband's eye and he enlarged the picture and to our surprise up in a tree on a limb was this creepy wolf like creature staring directly into the drone! We don't know what that thing was but I fully expected it to jump on our van in the middle of the night! I made sure all the windows were up and doors locked! Nothing happened but we were so creeped out we left early the next morning. Every once in a while we look at that photo and try to come up with some kind of explanation but there isn't one. My husband just had a wreck on his EBike fourth of July. It was bad. He fractured two bones in his face, broke his collarbone and 4 ribs. I've never seen someone with more bruising. He's practically head to toe in bruises, cuts and broken bones! We go tomorrow to the orthopedic doctor to see if they will be putting screws in his collarbone. As much fun as they are to ride they can be dangerous. I'm glad you didn't sustain worse injuries from your wreck! Sorry this is so long! Thanks for the nice videos. I think your channel will grow!

    • @KennyOfAllTrades
      @KennyOfAllTrades  Рік тому +1

      Wow. Oh my gosh, that sounds bad! I hope he heals up ok. I caught a sand patch while flying the drone and riding at the same time. I went head over the handlebars but was able to roll out of it. I'm thankful it wasn't bad. Tell your husband I hope he starts feeling better so he can get back on the bike. Sounds like he has a long road in of healing ahead.
      That was an awesome story! I love finding unexplainable things. It's so cool that you had the drone at the right place and time. That country is so big over there. Like you, I'm a bit of a skeptic. But I believe there are creatures in existence that we are unaware of.

    Sorry for your injuries….hope you’re feeling better. I saw a tip on another video - use a piece of a “pool noodle” on the corners of your slide to protect against such injuries. Just passing it on. Enjoy your videos….keep them coming! God bless!!

      Thank you. I'm going to pick up a pool noodle this week. That sounds like a good idea.

      That's the only thing bothering me yet. The head feels fine, but the scabs on the shoulder and legs open up when I stretch or neal down. I have had a good road rash for a long time.

    Wow Kenny! So much action in this video! From the hunting scene (for a campsite of course) to the fight with the camper, it’s always a pleasure to journey with you on your camping adventures.

    Kenny, your channel has become one of my favorites. I look forward to your weekly adventures. When I retire I hope to spend much of my time as you do on your weekend travels. Here in western PA, we have our share of Big Foot legends - UFO’s too. Thanks for sharing.

    Tuesdays are my favorite day now. Love seeing a new video from you every week. That place did take it's price in blood from you but looked beautiful. Keep up the good work! These places are going to camp themselves! A bad day camping is better than a good day at work!
