Nicely done there chef!! Here is a tip...set up a bowl of water and when you put the chicken into the bag...take the bag and place it in the water till it is submerged almost to the top and that will take all the air out so you can seal it without using a straw.
Oh my, good way to get salmonella poisoning or other chicken born illnesses. Especially with that straw! Yikes! I'm so very careful because we've actually gotten sick from raw chicken or cross contamination... which of course made us cross. hehheh In any event, the recipe for marinade I am going to try! Yep. Looks great! I agree that leaving the skin on chicken makes it moister and more flavorful, but I'm always trying to cut back on fats. Your bbq food always looks so yummy!
This chicken looks perfect! Just the way I like it. I've used Italian dressing as a marinade, will have to add some bbq sauce in also. Thanks for sharing!
I have to be honest, at first I was waiting for you to put strange ingredients in there. It felt like it might be a video like your blackberry raspberry (I think that's the name) shot video 😂! I soon realized it was serious though, and I enjoyed the video very much! 😊
Zesty Italian for the win! I make the most amazing potato salad with zesty Italian dressing in it! Your chicken looks amazing Russell! I'm going to have to try it! Been a while since I did barbecue chicken! ❤
Russell, have you ever tried boiling your chicken first? Take it out of the water and let it dry a little, Then proceed to your mixture and grilling method immediately. Chicken bone gets done, has the water in it, just slobber your chicken in the mixture and put on grill then proceed as normal. And, then you have an amazing by product to use in chicken & dumplings....the chicken broth...save it in a mason jar in the fridge. 😊
Russell, chicken temp should be 165, minimum, and thighs are forgiving if you go higher, sear it at 400,,cook it at 350-375 indirect heat like you did. I'm a chef for over 30years
Hello from Polish. Remember that dogs are not given bones from chickens (intestinal holes may occur) and by the way fish bones. Lots of health for you, City Girls and your dogs.
Russell I too have the Weber kettle.. I love it got it in lock down (we had a great summer here in the UK) I also bought the onlyfire rotisserie. I do whole chickens, whole duck, Leg of lamb. Love doing slow and low pulled pork and briskets Not done a turkey yet 😂
Hey Russell, man that chicken really did look delicious!! Great marinade, love the Italian dressing and bbq sauce combo. We're gonna try that next time!! I love that you took a few minutes to sear the skin, definitely worth the time to do that. I wanted to try a bite! 🔥🔥
OMG Russell! It's Christmas in August 😂 My apologies, I realized when I commented on your last video, that my membership was cancelled because I needed to get a new bank card and didn't renew my banking information on Google. So I lost those months that I was already a member. So I will be starting it over September 1st. Thanks for this Wednesday treat ❤❤ YASSS I love consistent videos with extras 😂
I did corn and chicken together on a gas grill with a chicken cooking basin in it. Unfortunately, I didn’t cook the chicken long enough and the corn absorbed a lot of heat, so neither got cooked fully. Coronet was in husk. Should’ve added 20 minutes to each if they’re cooked together
Looks awesome Russ. Might I add a suggestion of adding a good Kentucky Burbon whiskey to the ingredients. Also try dry cheery wood instead of charcoal, it really gives it a very nice flavor. pea soup home slice...
just to give you a heads up i wouldnt use a wire brush to clean the grill because the metal fibers somtimes stay on the grill and people ingest them and end up in the hospital
What I use isn’t a brush, not like the classic brush. Years ago I did get one of those wire bristles in my mouth, scared the heck out of me. That one I use now there are no bristles, it just keeps winding around and around. It’s designed for the bristle problem.
Hey Russell... Why did you keep calling it chicken wings??? When they were chicken thighs??? Anyway they look delicious I'm going to try that... Take care be safe God bless you and your city girl... 😋😋😋
I’ve got to tell you…. This was the worst video, I mean the ABSOLUTELY WORST video I have ever seen during a 48 hour fast…..🤣🤣🤣. Looks amazing… can’t wait to eat tomorrow 😁. Thanks for sharing
First of all the chicken wasn't fully cooked lol..the temp for chicken is 165 but better at 180, also when you marinated chicken you don't use the marinade to base the chicken...raw chicken marinade over cooked chicken is not good...I would never eat your bbq chicken lol
Always a good idea to wash any food purchased, fish or fowl, poultry, pork, beef, you never know who touched that food or those dang machines, safe not sorry. 😾😾
I saw lots of cross-contamination Russell. Wiping your fingers on a dry napkin or paper towel does not take off raw chicken. Sorry. Still enjoyed the video though.

Have you ever actually done that, Kristi?
@@RaspberryRockOffGridCabin I have and it works…. I use a sink but I know you don’t really have that option

Nicely done! 👍
Think I will try the zesty Italian and olive oil part next time.
Though I have to use seasonings whenever I cook chicken etc.

More fun watching you than most professional chefs! Thanks so mush for the entertainment
Looks AWESOME!!!
Chicken temp should be 165° per food & agriculture requirements Russell. Cooked some fast food before. Ha. Anyways, you did a great job
So yummy looking. I must try that. It's a great way to have meats cooked and ready for several meals.🙂👍👍🇨🇦

Technique was the world you were looking for x
So do measure that by one beer or two for cooking time??
You or me? Let’s say 3.
Yes Russell do you thing !!
Yup, thighs and legs the tastiest parts of the chicken! Smaller bits are easier to cook as well. Thanks for the early treat!
Great video!
Nicely done mate.

You can vacuum seal it pretty good by dunking it in a bucket of water right under the seal and close it.
Looks good,,but not cooked enough,,still bloody near the inside bone!

Olá boa noite pra você beijos ❤❤❤🍺💞🍿🥤
First of all the chicken wasn't fully cooked lol..the temp for chicken is 165 but better at 180, also when you marinated chicken you don't use the marinade to base the chicken...raw chicken marinade over cooked chicken is not good...I would never eat your bbq chicken lol
Not much of a cook then. 180 is some dry fucking chicken. Also, do you understand what happens with the marinade? Dumbass.
I always wondered how people get salmonella poisoning and now I know…sucking it straight up through a straw!
Thighs are the best, even if you goof up and let them go to 175-180f they are still juicy. Why don’t you use metric when grilling?
Char baby!
Ten times better when the bone is removed.
Na Ah !
😊 P r o m o S M
Once you got the knack?
Knack, technique, process, My brain flubbed.
Looks really yummy.🎉 I only like breasts. I wiil marinate them like yours😊
O man, just cook it why use that toy you should try a BBQ for 120 persons like I do 😮
How many times in this video did you call the thighs wings? I counted at least 3!
Always a good idea to wash any food purchased, fish or fowl, poultry, pork, beef, you never know who touched that food or those dang machines, safe not sorry. 😾😾
Russell! Some times I'm convinced you're trying to kill yourself haha Sucking up salmonella through a straw is just the latest way 😂😂😂
It was hot sauce! HOT SAUCE
safety first ya suck all the germs before they are cooked GOOD IDEA lol
I saw lots of cross-contamination Russell. Wiping your fingers on a dry napkin or paper towel does not take off raw chicken. Sorry. Still enjoyed the video though.
