My favorite Band-Maid songs are their Pop-Punk style songs. Dice, Different, Alone, Choose Me, etc. I think Saiki's voice is best suited for these types of songs. I think you should react to Alone if you haven't yet.
Lol! Dude, you are a goner now. But, that's a good thing. Wait until you discover their ballads, acoustic sets, and their alter ego Band Maiko. Band Maid is like the song Hotel California: You can checkout, but you can never leave. Po!
You might find it interesting to watch mikus growth from not playing guitar at all in thrill where it is just an ornament with that rickenbaker to where she is now it follows how they have evolved as a group over the years
I choose Band-Maid! Forever a Maidiac! Saiki is extra gorgeous in this song, especially with her wink! The whole band is on fire, but two Mincho solo's, none better!
"Choose Me" -- a song featured in the Netflix original movie "KATE" and the HBO Max series Peacemaker as BAND MAID, has so many great RnR chops, it's kinda unbelievable. From Saiki's old-school phrasing, cadence and a super soulful vocal at the end; MISA's driving bass, her special riff after Kanami's brilliant, rocking main solo (complete with harmonic pinch), and her pulls at the end of the song that really funks it up with Akane's drumming; to Kanami's original composition, off-beat octave stretches during the verses, and her addition of a second uncomplicated yet super tasty solo; to Akane's unique snare & tom flurry that launches the choruses; and to Miku's octave-down, in & out vocal backup and lyrics... all makes "Choose Me" a throwback rocker that surprised me when I first heard it - and I'll bet most anyone - that they would come up with this western-style, rock 'n roll classic. Of course, after years later, it's not surprising at all coming from this important band of geniuses who are, along with The Warning band, almost single-handedly bringing back the joy of rock. Here's a great live MV of "Choose Me" that's not quite as punchy do to the mix, but still good: ua-cam.com/video/HcqitbXgigU/v-deo.html Thx, Mr. X!
Japanese metal is on an incredible roll, especially the women, who are kicking ass on an epic scale. Another great band you should check out, is Bridear. Founded in 2011, they were in the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands. They have a classic twin-lead attack and technical rhythm section. Their tiny bassist even growls. They’re scheduled to release their new album “Born Again” on June 28, and it’s a banger. They just posted a video single from the album: “Still Burning” ua-cam.com/video/v7UOTBAtJh0/v-deo.html There are dozens more amazing Japanese bands to check out if you like this one....
Blue Rose Saiki Atsumi: She first started singing solo when she was fourteen. She performed as a backup dancer and singer in several groups before auditioning for BAND MAID; also, before B-M she did a little modeling and acting.
I've said it many times- If Saiki was to sing in English she would be world famous by now. Strangely they have just release a new song- Bestie- sung completely in English. The rest of the band are also at the top of their game so World domination may be possible. Best rhythm section- Misa/Akane, best song writer/singer/guitarist- Miku and best composer/ lead guitarist- Kanami.
Your impression will please Miku, band founder, rhythm guitarist, and backing vocalist. She decided her voice didn't match the music she wanted to play and scouted vocalist. 😊
This is always the big question for me when reactors come in on songs like Hate? and From Now On. Will they like the "poppier" side of the band. I'm very happy that you enjoyed it. This song is the reason I discovered Band Maid. It was in the playlist for the show Peacemaker, and I always enjoy the random selection of music that James Gunn puts in his movies and shows. It's not the first song I heard, as I didn't have spotify and instead Amazon music had "Sense" so that's the first song I really listened to, and it hooked me. I think you'd enjoy it too, they have a good live version up that's worth listening to.
Some suggestions Mr 😉 Warning MV Blooming MV Puzzle official live video, Domination live video, Why, why, why live Corallium live from Shibuya eggman... Well they have just good songs more than 150 😉 enjoy...and by the way they have a side project call Band Maiko...rock with some traditional Japanese spice,You will enjoy that as well I am sure. Some other incredible bands: Gacharic Spin,Dool$box, Sokoninaru, Bloodywood,Otyken, Jambinai, Glim Spank,Trident,Ado...
nope... i think we will all agree with you. she has an awesome voice. This video might have been pre-surgery on her vocal chords. It is around the same time of 2018
For their Ten-Year Anniversary show in November Saiki sang a ballad version of "Choose Me" and accompanied herself on the piano. It was magnificent.
I choose BAND MAID!!!!! Thanks for your reaction.
And me. Don't forget me.🙋♂️
Great to see you loving *BM*
Welcome to the pigeon hole!!

Get yourself a Band maid T-shirt buddy😂

Blooming, Matchless Gum, Corallium...
@@Prober61goddammit how did I forget Blooming ?

Now, if you want to see another skill set by Saiki, you should react to "Influenzer", the official music video. You'll see what I mean.

Great comment!
Every time I hear this it nudges every other song out of my head for at least a day. Stellar!
just wish in Peacemaker it was more than just a 5 second blurb.
@@chrisegbertky Totally! If I had to rate it, it would be in my top 10 of my top 50 of my top 100 Band-Maid songs. 🤘🏻😂
@@roygillotti4615 Peacemaker should have been a Band-Maid concert with a few chase scenes mixed in. 🤘🏻😂
Kanami’s playin’ in this is just Magical 🔥🤘❤️ Love it!
Band Maid! 🤘🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🍺😁
First B-M song I ever heard, my addiction was instant and ever since my musical world has never been happier, what a fcken band Po 👍🍻
Another great reaction and thanks for showing the Queen some love she so deserves. 😍 Keep on rocking with the Maids. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘
hells yes
Try one of their slower songs like Daydreaming MV
Saiki does have the perfect rock and roll voice without growling or screaming, which she never does or needs to.
She does have a nice occasional vocal fry tho a happy Saiki is a Growly Saiki.
They play this song in the movie Kate.
You are right, Saiki sings mostly in a conversational range like Taylor Swift, minus the teenage angst of ex-boyfriends.🙂
A lot of their songs, including this one, are about boyfriends.
@@evilducks3710 And angst! ;-)

🤙🏽
Taylor Swift is the definition of over produced mediocrity.
Shame on you for insulting Saiki like that.
The official live version is better imo.
Saiki's growl is more a natural ppart of her voice, not an affectation!
Great reaction!
I mean, she didn't have to tell me to choose Band-Maid. I'd be a fool not to.

he LIVE version is even better! But don't forget 'Real Existence' LIVE either.
I uploaded it this morning
Swift is a talented singer but is wasting her abilities on shitty material.
Makes you wonder what she’d be like with a really talented band, and someone writing more mature, actual rock, songs for her.
@@interstellardave she started off as a country singer, so anything is possible, I suppose. but she's minting money producing pap for the masses.
Bro, you know the author David Weber? That’s who I thought was reacting to my favorite band! 😊
Yes I do but not me, sorry 😆
MISA!!! MISA!!! MISA!!! 🥃🥃🥃
Well, Saiki is Taylor Swift...without the autotune and studio effects.
Awesome 😎
This song is one of the early works out of over 130 original songs. Usagimo Kaku doesn't have any boring songs. It's amazing.

There is no question that Saiki's current vocal tones is much better than previous. Her voice has matured, richer, fuller, stronger.
