Yes, Shambles is the Akane show with special guest stars Kanami, MISA, Saiki and Miku. But wait! Was it really the Kanami show, because she wrote the song and played it with such forcefulness and exquisite abandon. Or was it the MISA show because without MISA, the rapturous drive of the song would be a ride on four flat tires. Or was it the Saiki show because she focused the sonic chaos into a song with melodies that could express Miku's lyrics like no other singer could. Without Saiki, Shambles might sound like a familiar instrumental. Or was it the Miku show because, damn, she wrote the lyrics, played the important rhythm parts, and added her unique brand of backup vocals that have become a defining "sixth instrument" of Band-Maid. So exactly whose show was it? It was the Maid's show, as usual! 🤘🎀🤘Thx, Charlie!

I have told a LOT of people Shambles is a great introductory BAND MAID song. It shows off many of their great attributes ... like pigeons and bananas ;) . BAND MAID is: Miku Kobato (小鳩 ミク) - rhythm guitar, vocals, PR (Band founder, lyricist ... our flappy pigeon, po!) Kanami Tōno (遠乃 歌波) - lead guitar (musical composer extraordinaire - the princess) Akane Hirose (廣瀬 茜) - drums, percussion (see bananas ... and ramen - the gorilla) Misa - bass guitar (drinks hard liquor and performs without shoes on stage - the barefoot assassin) Saiki Atsumi (厚見 彩姫) - lead vocals ("we dance in the palm of her hand" - Domination - The Queen)
The "problem" that isn't really a problem is that there are _at least_ a dozen MVs going back 10 years that should make anyone go "WTF!?!?!? This is _amazing!_" And THEN there's all the equally- amazing stuff that doesn't have an MV, so it rarely gets a reaction. Which just parallels the "You don't even know how good this is until you listen to the instrumental version or for the 50th time and discover new layers to what they're doing. "

The Maids also had a cameo in the movie, playing this song in a club. It was also used in one of the episodes of "Peacemaker". Season 1, episode 3. "Blooming" OMV was also used in the Netflix movie "Kate".

Probably it's over 150 songs if you count acoustics and Band-Maiko as well...and of course, instrumentals as well. You sound like all of us when we discovered this band, you listen to couple of their songs, and you can't help but start checking out all their mvs and official/fancam videos available on UA-cam, watch every single reactions on the same day. I know the temptation very well. I personally don't mind if your reactions were not first-time reactions. It's totally up to you, 😂 Oh, btw Band-Maid has quite a few mid-tempo gems too.❤
