    Worked after several attempts but i had to do the restart manually, by pulling the cord, for the error message to go away. Just in case someone has the same problem. Thanks for the great video.

    Hi need help with my printer. i received it a couple years ago. and recently started using it. the display screen is off and i can see whats on the screen if i shove my face to it. is tehre a way i can switch it on? i been trying but i cant really find anything on the internet and came across your video.     I used to like Samsung and have had the C1810W printer a long time. But have always had problems with it. The display is nearly impossible to read most of the time, it can't seem to stay connect to the Wi-Fi making me redownload it every month or so which takes hours because even using the Ethernet cord the PC can't seem to find it to reconnect the Wi-Fi.
    The controls are similar to yours but the upper button won 't bring up the menu. I usually use the PC menus since the controls are such a pain. I thought a hard reset would help but it won't let me do it. It insists I reset the time each time it's unplugged which is often because it starts up in the middle of the night waking up the whole house.

    menu-down-left-right-ok-cancel-ok-menu
    has to be done very fast to enter tech mode

    Hi everybody,
    despite tenth of attempts, I cannot enter the quoted Tech Menu following the steps clearly described above : Menu, Down, Left, Right, Ok, Stop/Clear, Ok, Menu, taking into account the fact that keyrs must be pressed without delay.
    My printer is a second hand one. Could I imagine this setup process could have been modified by previous user ?

    Obrigado, fiz o procedimento e a impressora voltou a imprimir, mas agora tem a mensagem de "preparar toner", o ciano e magenta. As impressões só saem preto e amarelo. É algum problema no chip desses cartuchos.

      Tente retirar tudo o que funciona, cartuchos coloridos e muito mais, e coloque-os de volta. Essas impressoras são muito estranhas.

    We find everything ON THE NET EXCEPT for the most expensive part of the machine & which without this counter blocking works very well the transfer belt for c480w is there a chip on earth for this machine

    Thank you. Very informative. My machine says I have a paper jam in Tray 1. Cant figure out what's going on. Will play around with the tech menu. Thanks.

      Open all the hatches in the back and the front (Pull out any visible paper)and then close them up again. This will probably solve your problem.

      Firstly, pull out the paper tray and see if there is a paper stuck in there, just pull it out

      Try to pull them out and put them back again. Plus pull out the power cord wait for 10 seconds and plug it back to the wall socket.

      Are you sure it is the exact same printer? If it doesn’t work, I cannot help you.
      I have had people with the same problem as you in the comment where they had problems getting into the menu. They entered the sequence a bit faster, and eventually it worked.

    Hi! My Printer C480 doesn’t compatible the cartridges even though I tried to install them one by one multiple times. What should I do?

      Really don’t know. Are they original brand cartridges? Have you removed the plastic from the cartridge head?

    Hi,
    I have exactly the same printer as in the video. My message is "replace new imaging unit".
    All goes well until the printer answers clear counts/"clearing..." but after that it does not do any restart/initilizing system.
    Is it supposed to happen automaticly? I have tried do a start with the "start-"button and also tried pulling the plug. No difference.
    The same errormessage is stil remaining.
    Any suggestions?

      I would try to remove all toners and stuff inside the printer, do the same thing unplug the machine, put everything back and then turn it on. It’s weird that it doesn’t reset.

      Yes, and the system answered "Clearing..." when I choose "clearing counts / Imaging unit".
      I have now tried taking everything out and done it again. Tried with and without the Imaging unit inside...
      Same message; "Install new imaging unit".🙄@@mr_fix

    Ours is stuck in the system initialize mode loop. Won't do anything unfortunately. Only turns on and off at power cord. No paper jam, weird.

      @@hoglundh hey, in the meantime we got it to work again. We removed all cartridges and turned it off. Then we put them back in one after the other and each time turned it on, waited for the printer to recognize the cartridge and turned it off again. Then the next. At the end the printer accepted all four cartridges.

    On trouve tout SUR LE NET SAUF pour la piece la plus chere de la machine & qui sans ce blocage de compteur marche tres bien la courroi de transfert pour c480w il y a t'il une puce sur terre pour cette machine

    Mi problema es que no conecta con el dispositivo ya sea celular o laptop , lo demás está bien pues estuve imprimiendo pero en detección de impresora no quiere conectar .

      A veces tengo el mismo problema. luego saco el cable de alimentación, espero 10 segundos, me conecto de nuevo y encontrará la conexión inalámbrica.

      vous devez appuyer sur la combinaison de boutons plus rapidement que j'ai eu le même problème plusieurs fois. Si c'est la même imprimante, cela fonctionnera.
