I've played like 10 rounds of this at an arcade, and I'm impressed by the animations overall, especially the crazy amount of really convincing putting animations where the ball rolls to the hole or misses it in various ways. I keep seeing new animations I haven't seen before, and they're always spot on. But putting is obviously not presented in a video like this. :)
Can I just say how insanely funny the USA golf course is? They want us to believe there's a golf course inside Grand Canyon National park, which is asinine and illegal enough, but then when it cuts away to your character after a hole, the background is a jungle. You know, the many jungles of Arizona and Nevada. Can't miss 'em.
5:23 - I like how TAS'er nearly shot the Ball here into the Reset Bug here. For those new, you can shoot Ball to make Game render too many Trees, causing Game to crash-reset. > There's a specific cluster of pixels near the front of the green where if the ball passes over it the game will attempt to render too many trees, causing the game to crash and soft-reset. This exists in all versions of the game.

Maybe I'm not getting the strats but wouldn't it be a faster speedrun if you deliberately avoided the longest drive and closest to the pin awards and not had to watch the little prize giving scene?
