In Neo Turf Masters, you can pick one of six available golfers and compete on a number of golf courses around the world, including Japan (Fujiyama Oriental Golf Club), America (Grand Canyon Golf Course), Australia (Blue Lagoon Golf Course), and Germany (Baden Golf Course). The game features two modes of play: Stroke Play, in which the player attempts to get the best score by playing all 18 holes, and Match Play, in which two players compete to see who can win more of the 18 holes.
This run by mamuuuut ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/m... ) plays the toughest course (Australia) and aims to get the lowest (best) final score while showing off unusual or unexpected paths. - Ігри

I do just love how they made a golf game so much exciting: The graphics, the sounds, the music, and the gameplay are outstanding!
Those types of touches can REALLY make or break a golf game. I'm a fan of the newest everybody's golf because they added so much small touches like that,

The character graphics were created from video references.
Not terribly difficult in 1996. More like time-consuming manual cleanup and keeping the limited color palette in mind.

The trophy you're holding at the end is literally just the Wanamaker Trophy for the PGA Championship.
My headcanon is, once they saw you shoot 29 in this random course in Australia, they just flew the Wanamaker Trophy all the way from the United States and declared you the champion of golf for life.

The term Albatross is also known as a Double Eagle, particularly in the USA, and it means that a person has shot three under Par on a Hole. The rarest, as well as most difficult, shot to obtain in a game of golf is called a Condor, which is a shot that is at least four under Par. Moreover, a shot that is at the Eagle level or higher can also double as a Hole In One, depending on the hole, though getting a Condor that also doubles as a Hole In One has only happened four times in the recorded history of golf.
I was thinking, why had I not heard those terms before? And then I realized, I've never heard of anyone playing well enough to get one.

This is crazy. There are only like two dozen double eagles (or albatross) shot in a PGA tour season among all golfers, but this guy scores one every three holes.

This is the most intense game of Golf I’ve ever seen
Guy is SUPER happy when he makes a shot.
If this were a real golf performance, every doctor on the planet would suddenly want to study this guy.
I think brain-oriented doctors would have more of a field day with this guy in particular than you might realize. How this guy just accurately calculated the wind's effect on his shots at a moment's notice every time, the water skips, everything.
Especially Happy Gilmore, but inside his skull.

I am absolutely _convinced_ this this game was made by the same people who made the _Metal Slug_ series. The music and sound design are _so_ very similar, even though the games could not be much different.
And that makes this golf game absolutely _amazing._

Nazca made this game, and did indeed make metal slug! They were brought into snk afterwords.
It is. Kinte, the director of Neo Turf, also served as planner for R-Type 2.
Uh, yeah, I'm fairly sure Metal Slug 1 and Neo Turf Masters are the only two games Nazca released before getting bought out by SNK.

@@TheAnonapersons it's TAS, meaning it's played by a computer.
@@JoNassRasierer TAS means that the player is allowed to use save states and other tools like TAStudio, which lets you enter controller inputs frame by frame instead of in real time. It's still a real person playing, but all of their mistakes are left out, creating a perfect run

Tool assisted. Meaning, he saves the game and keeps retrying 😂. I've done this course -38 in a similar way. Took a couple of hours. This guy probably spent days on this.

Played my buddy yesterday, he shot a albatross on last stage Australia. 1 game later in the USA course I made an albatross as well.
Currently only at -22 in mpst stages, but never had a perfect game nor do I use save states.
