I absolutely loved Kazakhstan when I went there - the vast distances between the places and the high quality of the trains really makes the intercity experience something special! Thanks for showing Kazakhstan to the world
Sure is simple living but the nature is gorgeous, the air is clean, the land is peaceful and people do seems to be able live their lives relatively undisturbed. Those simple facts make it immediately a better place to be than many others.
Gabriel, Those canyons , cliffs, mountains , rocks everywhere, are just amazing . The trees and vegetation seem sparse. A whole course of geography and geology in one massive country . Thank you for always teaching us something new about the world !
How beautiful is the scenery. Such different landscapes and that lake was postcard perfect. It was really great to see some of the countryside. Good tour choice, you really have captured the beauty of Kazakhstan on camera. ❤
Love and Light always find their way to people's hearts, because that's what we are made of basically ... beautiful song and very interesting landscape, thank you Gabe, your videos are eye opening, at least for me.✌
Glad you got to see some nature sites outside Almaty. the kazak people are so warm and friendly. They showed me wonderful hospitality during my trip there. Enjoy your travels ahead, Gabriel :)
That's exactly what I thought it looks just like out west in Canada. I'm Canadian. The view of the lake and the walk through the woods is so beautiful. I never thought it would look like that there.
Hamburger. Hamburger. No hot dog that was funny. Pretty contrast in landscape. River against the stark land. Great tour for only 20 bucks!! Canyons are huge. Awesome video !! Lunch time spread was much better!! Continue on a safe journey 🧡🌼🧡🌼🧡
Another amazing video! Thank you. One small tip, it is easier to row if you pull the oars through the water instead of pushing them. It’s counter intuitive because you are then moving backwards through the water.
A blessed good day sir Gabe Wowww another Epic Adventure In The Other Side Mountains and Wonderful Nature of Kazakhstan, I love this Beautiful 🤩 Scenery Boat Lake Tour and Other Nature activities, Thank u so much for your wonderful walk around tour video stay safe Godbless ☺️🙏♥️🙂🇵🇭👍 👏👏 From the Philippines 🇵🇭
In 2008 there was no visitor center and no steps down the side of the canyon or sturdy railings. It was just a metal chain that you held on to. Most of us just slid down the dirt sitting down. Thankfully, our ride drove into the canyon to pick us up.
There are some amazing contrast in scenery, the canyon looks like somewhere from a western movie and the lake and mountains look like Jasper in Alberta Canada
There is something to be said about lack of development, and how this allows natural landscapes to reveal their true beauty. That was a gorgeous canyon.
I’ve seen this whole area, by plane going from London to Bangkok, often wondered what it’s really like on the ground. There’s not one tree for thousands of miles and everywhere looks like a hilly dessert, with just a few small towns dotted around!
Thank you very much for sharing this tour. This is a perfect chance to get to know the nature of the countryside in Kazahstan. Everything you show is interesting. I like the song full of emotion.
Amazing tour, amazing video. Fall colors along the desert canyon look very gorgeous. Such incredible that so very different landscapes (desert, canyons, Canada-like mountainous lake region) can all be found and visited in one day in Kazakhstan near Almaty as in the North America it would take like thousands of miles and much more days to see the same diversity. It also looks as the untouched version of the "Wild West", just like the real Wild West perhaps looked like in the 19th or 18th century. A really positive surprise, just like Azerbaijan was.
Back in Almaty, go to Medeo, (#12 bus)take the cable car to Shymbulak. Walk up the mountain road to a memorial to Kazhak climbers including Anatoli Bukreev. Great outing.
Kazakhstan looks amazing. Thanks for showing us. Sounds like you're heading to India or Nepal Himalayas next!? Very jealous! I was there exactly 25 yrs ago. Weather was perfect up in the Annapurna range. Hopefully it's the same now 😊
Hi Gabriel, that was spectacular you could be anywhere in the world with those rock formations and lakes just a beautiful experience, and look you are speaking Spanish with someone from Kazakhstan. I think with language there are traditional and then there is slang whether it's English or some other language, not a dialect which is like a spin-off but actual slang which is made up of words within the same vernacular. Meaning words used that have dual meanings every language has this embedded in it and changes over generations.
Very interesting vlog! I hope you will be able to do more of these kind of tour in nature or museums, show the market and shops a bit more maybe just to show more of what things to do and see in and around Almaty! My daughter and I have always been intrigued❤🧐💭 by anything to do with Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 I hope we can visit some day Enjoy Sabrina 🇫🇷🇬🇧 Ps glad you left that neighbourhood this was perfect 👌🏼 for Ben (bold & bankrupt)
Row, Row your boat gently down the stream. Merrily, Merrily life is but a dream. Practicing that Spanish. Here's some from Colombia. Como le va parcero? La esta pasando bueno en Kazakhstan? Keep going Gabe!
Good morning from California. 4:45 AM. In Russian they ask visitors to not leave graffiti and threaten by penalty. Recently I watched video about Nebit-Dag in Turkmenia and graffiti is a real problem there.
I need advice, Gabe. Since losing my wife, I have been dealing with anxiety. Your videos are helping to boost my confidence, but how can I start getting back into getting out there slowly? Would you suggest taking it in steps? Or go out slowly building it like that?
Talk about off the beaten path. The scenery went from blah to spectacular. btw when I was a kid in summer camp they taught us to row the boat with the pointy end going forward. This was a great video.
Gabriel, if I were you, I would not make fun of the English translations of whatever or diss them publicly on UA-cam. It is not that not hard to figure out what they mean, and they know English better than you might know Kazakh, so ... Best not to litter period, anywhere, I would say.
If I include the price in the Kazakh tenge then most of my viewers won't know how much that is. By showing the prices in euros and dollars a large percentage of my audience will understand how much it costs.
Why you think people in towns in Kazakhstan speak only Russian. We 13 millions of Kazakhs in Kazakhstan all speak kazakh our native language. Russian is functioning just to speak with other minorities like Russians, Ukrainians and so on.
Gabe, great series! You should totally interact more with other travelers and local folkl! I hope you rock Tajikistan, Turkmenistan & Kyrgyzstan ...perhaps western China, Mongolia? Enjoy!☮️
Awesome! But while you’re in that part of the world go to Sri Lanka and see Sigariya!! So called 8th wonder of the world, should be in the top of the 7 wonders of the world!

@@SergeChel But then you can't see where you're going and might cause a tragic boating accident and end up in a Kazakhstani jail. 😛But seriously, I get that it's easier on your arms, however conditions were mild and we weren't going far, I'd rather be looking at where I'm going.
Hi just wanna ask where you get your tours? Recommendations please I'm planning next month. I want a your that with a group so that it will be cheaper. I will be traveling alone as well. Thanks

What an interesting landscape! A cross between utah and southern New Mexico!
