I'll be so afraid to make a commitment to a sketch. The dress might look good on paper, but I'll never be sure of it untill i wear it and get all jacked up. Bravo to her for imagining and saying yes to it.
Apparently she was too! Her actual dress was more of a dropped waist ball gown. Still the pink and ivory bottom, embellishments around the bodice, and a unique neckline though.

sketches usually look better than final products, cant translate pretty scribbles to irl very easily

I just looked up her dress to see how it turned out and they must have changed the style of it to a ball gown instead of a fit and flare cause other than that it still looks like everything else she asked for or at least that's what I think and either way it turned out gorgeous 🥰💕

The third gown and the custom sketch were the only gowns that were within her $10,000 budget. That’s nuts!

I’m actually surprised a custom dress is that inexpensive comparatively speaking. So many off the rack dresses at kleinfelds are so much more expensive. Very cool

@@gopikaagopika Look again at the other pictures when you do a search. It's a short tight embellished dress with a fluffy tulle overskirt that's removable, and it's adorable without the skirt!! It's a 2 in 1.
She didn't even wear the dress he put on paper to her wedding. She wound up with a drop waist ballgown skirt.

Its the same fashion designer but change the details of the dress, in the reception it looks like it has a detachable skirt.
I checked the pictures too, it looks very different to me as well. The bottom part of the fit and flare skirt is tiered, which I don't see at all in the sketch.
UPDATE: Sketch was a fail and she went with a very different ball gown. $8300 down the qvc drain 💕

I was wondering if she will ever get over 'fashion' to having that teary moment for a wedding dress. And she did, even if she cried over a sketch. That's what she really wanted - to be emotional about her wedding dress and it's not just about what is fashionable. I wish this couple all the best at their wedding and marriage.

What's interesting is if you google her wedding photos she either changed it from a mermaid to a dropped waist, or backed out of the dress deal altogether. It doesn't look like the sketch at all.
I think it is the same, though it looks like a ball gown with dropped wait. At least I think I saw an overskirt on the sketch an she had an overskirt in the Wedding pictures. The top looks very much like the one of the dress the wore last.
Still I think she could have done better with a budget ok 10k!!
@@realbutstillanonym3532 Oh, I think you're right about the overskirt. I went back and looked again and found her coworker's blog. There's a picture of her at the reception in a mermaid with the same details. I'm really not a fan of the drop waist tulle.

The zipper broke, so they had to make some adjustments
not completely. It still has all the details of the sketch. just the silhouette changed. The designer likely had her coming into fittings throughout the process and at one of them she must of not been in love with the fitted look but experimenting and changing it to a more a drop-waist princess style spoke to her more as the dress was coming together so they took it in that direction. It still has the blush and Ivory mix, the lace, and the neckline she had wanted.
@@TiBunCosplay complete change of a silhouette is a 180 change of the dress in my opinion no matter if some elements stayed 🤷♀️ but whatever, as long as the bride is happy 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️

I kinda really like the feathery dress. And omg I love a bride that is willing to try amazingly different dresses & will say yes to a sketch! And she seems so genuinely lovely. Have to go look up her wedding now & see the dress 👗
Hmmm 🤔 they obviously raised the bottom of the dress to a drop waist type fit & major flare & has very different embellishments to the dress she liked, still has some blush undertones & of course she looks gorgeous (how could she not), but I kinda wish she stuck with the more mermaidy silhouette. She probably actually wanted to be able to walk & dance though, & who can blame her.

The problem with that kind of sketch is the body depicted is so stylized that no real human could ever look like that - the actual dress will NOT look the same on a real human once it is made. No way I would commit almost $9000 to a stylized sketch with no real sample dress to examine. There are so many other options... maybe she should look at some of the other designers work if she was not feeling it with Zunino's samples.

The second dress was actually very beautiful . Even with its asymmetrical neckline . Although she didn’t feel comfortable with the neckline but it looked good on her 🤌🏻

Off topic and inappropriate but I’m a recovering heroin addict. Almost 5 years sober. 😊 but his hands are a whole trigger lol. Well it’s not funny. It’s kind of sad actually. I’ve rebuilt my entire life. I feel so separated from the person I used to be. In so many ways. And it’s just so …..idk, bizarre? Bizarre to me that when I saw his hands that was my first thought. Like I can change so many things in my life and within myself but I’ll carry the experiences with me forever.

As a custom clothier I find it amusing that this woman is so amazed that the designer can take the three elements from the dresses that she liked and sketch them into one dress. It's what he does everyday. 🤔

I think if she opened her options to more designers, she would've found her dress. I also do not think her vision transformed into the dress. This is the first group of dresses from a designer that I didn't care for. There were bits from each dress that I liked but I tend to really like Hayley Paige. Her dresses look light and comfortable while the dresses in this episode make it seem that you wouldn't be free to move around.

This episode seems really fake to me.
All of them are to some degree. Reality TV is scripted and edited for drama and effect. I hate when they deliberately make some family members, usually the mother or the sister, the bad guy. Always stirring up female drama and backstabbing behaviors makes women look bad.
