crazy how he was following AI updates, OpenAI and stuff back in 2020 when most of the world was ignorant towards it. Now almost all of his hypothesis about AI are coming true!!
Varun I don't know whether you'll be getting time to read this comment, but I am going to put it down anyways. Before joining the college last year, (which happens to be the same as yours) I was in the same 'rat race' as the 1.4 million other students who write their entrance tests to get into 'Engineering' colleges. I came to know about you 2 years back and have been following you closely since joining the college. During this lockdown I tried to reflect upon my past year in college and being in CSE branch and having attended a coding course in my first semester I realised that I would be better off learning this skill on my own rather than coughing up at least 20 Lacs on a B.Tech degree where teachers don' know the shit they're teaching and whatever they're teaching is at least 3-4 years old.
This is very good! and I can say from every market that at the end the motivation is the only thing people do in the end, so I suggest newbies to start from there itself.
Motivation or a lack thereof can definitely make or break a startup, you're right about that Akash. A lot of young entrepreneurs have short-lived enthusiasm that dissipates after the first hurdle. But one of the keys to success is sustaining that enthusiasm and motivation past multiple hurdles. -Caleb
What are your thoughts on Flux the blockchain project...?? Essentially a decentralised AWS.... I heavily resonated with your thoughts specially in the last 5 mins...
Ideally one would have both - but if I had to hedge my bets - I'd take knowledge over experience for a successful entrepreneur any day! As long as they have an entreprenurial "spark" for their desired business venture. An entrepreneur is someone that has a certain grip on (knowledge of) any given subject, that he or she wants to make into a successful business. You can have a ton of experience & lack that certain "spark" - that comes from the basic knowledge of what you're passionate about in business - & as such - that very experienced person can totally miss the mark. Younger entrepreneurs (like this guy) may not have much experience in the beginning - but they will acquire it as they go along. He certainly did. And it seems he initially gained his "spark" on a Presario! What a gr8 Mom! (...hummmm - come to think of it - in his case I guess it was his mom that had that first spark of an entreprenurial's business vision! ×} U go Mom!) What's truly essential in an entrepreneur is the basic knowledge combined with the vision, the deep core drive & passion for his or her business --- the "spark". Entrepreneurial success must first and foremost have that startup "can do" attitude --- and usually that comes a lonnnnng time before the "experience" side of the equation. What they have is a vision and a passion for their chosen enterprise - which will allow them to gain experience & hopefully create a great business. Case in point - Bill Gates had no business experience - he actually dropped out of college; but even though he had no college degree or any real business knowledge to speak of - what he did have was an uncanny understanding (aka - knowledge) of IT - & a "spark" to try to create a business based on his vision --- and he did --- from his first home based office in his roomate's garage! So yeah. I'll take knowledge any day - as long as it has that certain passionate entrepreneurial "spark" to go along with it!
what are you gonna do of that knowledge when you don't have any experience, knowledge comes due to experience sir and it doesn't matter you have to be an entrepreneur That's why i say work in a newly startup, the craze that it has seriously will give a lot of knowledge than the big MNCs

My question is: People feel SaaS in India (domestic market) is absolutely not scalable, what's your view on that?
I don't think so
Let's have a talk on this

Nice
what do you think is more important knowledge or experience to be an entrepreneur?
Experience of market can kill any expertise for at least for some time
If not forever

AI is going to take place of many of the employees so people should see it as a threat or as helpful technology ??
