You're so awesome! I've been following you for years. I love how theatrical and engaging you are. I've been teaching art for 12 years. 3 years as a K-8 classroom art teacher, and the rest of the time, contracting with schools, running after school art programs. For the past 5 years I've been developing my UA-cam art channel. You've been a big inspiration. I'm looking forward to doing your ceramic creature door project with my students this year. They will love it.

I'm pushing 70 but one of the greatest memories I have of elementary school is my 3rd grade teacher reading to us after lunch! She would read a chapter while our tummies were full and we were relaxed and not distracted by hunger.

My fourth grade teacher did the same!! I can't recall what she read us but I do remember sitting with my head down and loving having her read a chapter book to us. It's one of the reasons I read chapter books to my older students while they worked!

@@cassiestephens6715 My teacher read a book about a doll who was locked in a trunk on a ship and she traveled the world and landed in the possession of several children along the way. It was so riveting to me in the 3rd grade....wish I could remember the name of the book. I think the doll's name was Hattie? Good memories!

You are outstanding!! I just ran into you by accident.. I love your themed clothing, too. Do you sell it or where could I find something like that?

I don't sell...I just enjoy making for myself. But if you like this style, the website "Unique Vintage" has SUPER FUN stuff! You'll love it. I always shop their sale site for the best deals.

Cassie, did you retire from teaching? I think writing kids books is a great Segway out of the classroom!

    Hi Beautiful Cassie !,
How many days do you have left before the last day of the school year?
BTW, By request of a former autistic school student in Tennessee (me),
Please do a palming short. I could use it myself sometimes.
