Paul Ufema, from the channel All New Bricks, attempts to break the Guinness World Records title for the fastest time to build the LEGO® Titanic.
Paul came agonizingly close to setting his second record in 2021 but unfortunately missed a piece on his giant Millennium Falcon build - he already holds a record for the fastest time to build the LEGO® Colosseum.
The LEGO® Titanic is the largest sculpture that LEGO® produce, aside from the world map. It's the largest in terms of size, at over 165cm long.

Dang, it took me 24 hours to complete it. Amazed at how fast he did this. Then again I had a couple Titanic movies playing throughout the building process that helped me a lot.
That’s still pretty fast.
I'm willing to bet his total time (from the moment the box is opened to completion minus any breaks he took in between) is longer than yours because he spent x number of hours painstakingly arranging the pieces onto trays in sequence. In effect, he built the model twice. I don't agree with Guinness's methodogy - timer should start the moment the box is opened.
@@zzfaithlezz exactly, part of the fun of the build for me is opening the box, organising the bags and opening each of the bags, and that takes time which should be added onto the total "build time"
@@zzfaithlezz No. That would mean having to buy an extra set for every attempt. The record is for building, not opening or organizing. It should be possible for someone to beat the record with practice: building, taking apart, building, taking apart. Olympic world records are not limited to first attempts only. Neither are video game speed runs. It would be ridiculous to make players rebuy a game for every failed speed run. Guinness's rules are fair. Nothing was built (i.e. lego pieces snapped together) before the attempt was made. Your rules would also preclude anyone buying the lego sets second hand, which is not what the record is about.
@@NelemNaru I would have no problem if the starting point was all loose pieces or pieces organized by type. I do have a problem with all the pre-work of arranging pieces in the sequence specified by the manual.
In fact, I would love to find out how long it would take for him to take it apart and rebuild it.
The fact that Lego doesn’t have any factory issues on this set, miracle.
Nah they always add extra
@@achinesechickin118 then how am I always missing parts😭😭😭
@@soneyb6583 Because you're bad at keeping track of them. I grew up with and still actively build LEGO sets, and have never actually been missing a part. Sometimes parts can be left behind in the plastic bags, or they can "disappear" on the floor. Don't forget that pieces can also be hidden under or within other pieces. Also, if there are any weird cardboard shapes in the box (like in the LEGO ART sets), look under them, and you'll find more bags. Just make sure that if you're building a set, don't do it over a carpet floor. Those can be brutal if you drop a small piece (though sets usually include extras for the very small pieces like technic pins and 1x1s).
@@_Fuscous Nah I legitimately was missing one of the ropes for the Titanic. It seemed to have been replaced by a 2x3 brick instead because that was a leftover piece and extras are never larger bricks like that. I had to have the rope shipped to me by LEGO. It would have been in the bags like the other ropes so there's absolutely no way I missed it.
@@bigbill10 They said *always* missing parts. I never said it was impossible, it's just extremely rare to legitimately have missing parts often.
I finished mine today. Took me 27 hours 18 of those hours nonstop. Such a beautiful piece. I even played the engine sounds from youtube to get a true sense of perspective.
14 hours, 6 minutes and 36 seconds
spoilers Noah
Damn you noah
It took me exactly 22 hours to completely build mine , 15-16 hours non stop. Such an amazing set.
Wish i had this guy to build lego sets for me
building it is part of the fun
@@guinnessworldrecords see you know what you're talking about
@@guinnessworldrecords only if you have the patience for it.
@@guinnessworldrecords I think can break the world record for training to do the splits in day
That takes out the fun
Just watched Paul's other video on the Falcon and how he was honest about the 1 missing piece. Paul is a *G E M* and deserves all the luck in the world. Any man that turns down an award for his integrity is a boss.
*L E G E N D A R Y*
Now THATS dedication!
I need this guy to retry the falcon and finally get the record he truly deserves.
imagine it dropped on the floor as soon as he was about to set the record
nononononono
You would be truly gutted and devastated
Amazing effort in the speedbuild
Nice job setting the record. The question I have is this. How long would it have taken you if you had to count the time you spent separating all the pieces a head of time? I watched my daughter when she first started building Legos. She would get frustrated sometimes trying to sort through all the pieces as she was building. So, now, I help my daughter with her Legos. I am the designated parts sorter. It is a time, consuming part of the job. I think that should have to be factored in when setting a record. Now, I'm not trying to take away what you've accomplished, because that is still an impressive time. I just know how much time it takes to sort through all the pieces and can't imagine how long it will take me to sort through the 9090 pieces to help her build the Titanic. Yes, I am going to take her to the Lego store Saturday, 10/7/2023, where I will spend more than I ever thought I would on any Lego set......lol Congratulations sir for your record and on a fine job building this iconic ship! I can't wait to get started!
bags are numbered and the instructions tells you what number to grab for the step.
これを作り続ける力、精神がすごいです
Congratulation man!!! Great work!!! I want to take mine apart and see how long it takes m! I spread mine over the course of a week due to work. I wanna see if I can possibly be faster now that I have time available. If not, still great work man!!!!
Lego needs a monster sized set. Like a complete city with train and everything, 1 million prices. Price it at like $15K.
Me here not even knowing there was a Lego titanic 😅
it's new!!
@@guinnessworldrecords that explains a lot 🙃
Yay! Titanic!!!
people in the cinema November 1997:
Wow that’s a nice world record (WR)!! The titanic incident is definitely my favorite historical catastrophe and I’ve actually seen real parts off the titanic. Just the side of the ship looked unreal and I couldn’t believe the size of it!! Also a fun fact is the 4th smoke stack being totally fake and mainly just an attempt to flex the horsepower.
Having a favorite catastrophe is not very normal.
@@_Fuscous True, but I mainly like the story behind it since it’s really unique and insane. 😂
Amazing video👍
I am very impressed with him because he has managed to do it in 14 hours, which is less than a day , for me to complete that huge Titanic took a few days because I was so lazy to focus on one thing at a time.
He should attempt the Statue of Liberty. I tried it once, and the middle section I was trying to layer on the bottom collapsed. That was 19 years ago, to this day I've made no reattempt.
The company stop making it now, and it now costs over 3000$ I'm not kidding for set# 3450
Build UCS ATAT next
Amazing. Took me 3.5 hours to build 2 little cats xD don't think I'm ready for beating a record yet.
Imagine a kid accidently pushed that Lego and have to rebuild again
This is an amazing video.
Its already been beaten, current record is 8:42:12. That's just crazy
@Alex Cannot remember, its on their website
I love this guy's commutary
The actual record is in 8 hours 42 minutes 12 seconds achieved by Sebastian Haworth (USA) in Springfield, Virginia, USA, on 22 may 2022. He was 15 years old back then.
Only those that are willing to pay Guinness World Records will get a certificate and this set was made for Adults.
@@GoatzombieBubba they have to prove it, pay to them and its obvious that this set (and some others) are made by Lego to adults...
This is quite amazing
I have this set currently in my shopping cart! Always loved Legos since I was a kid, and remembered the Titanic since I was in second grade! always tried building different models but didn't go well and hardly ever finished! I wonder how long it would take me to build this. It sounds easy enough never been stumped by Lego before.
I remember building this Lego train and a mall! This should be easy if I'm careful.
This set's like 600 dollars! 700 counting the tax I have my own paying job but still live with my parents for the time being. can't really spend my money on much else, but I'm supposed to keep it below a certain amount anyway.
Did you ever build it 😂
Nice when i built my AT-AT it took me 15 hours and it was even less pieces, congrats dude.
Superb bro
You could have shown at least a minute of his actual building speed for comparison to a normal builder..
I don't think he's actually that fast, he just opens and sorts all the bags in preparation. Also, anyone who may be faster than him is just not thinking of submitting a world record. Submitting a guinness world record costs $800 US (you can do the conversion yourself if you aren't american, I don't feel like putting alternative values for every currency).
Hope this guy could be my Lego Tutor
Awesome work! Love All New Bricks!
Wow that’s sick I built a ship from Lego ninja go in two days
My guy thats a big flex
Love from pakistan
E
I love watching his videos.
I suggest you do Rivendell from LotR, I think it's a USC.
Is there a fastest time to build an iceberg?
ayo ಠಿ_ಠ
Maybe they'll make a set like that
Building in Lego games be like:
Hello!
This man has an amazing talent!
I can't even build the Lego rocket ship that I got for Christmas-
He's back!
Wow Incredible Smh, I could never do that. Nice work 👍
Titanic comes out*
Him: “yes” 0:25
Well sir you are a legend.
Sometimes I get energized with videos like this💪
Listen I would've cried if the set fell after it was made I was very hopeful he would have enough room to store it because of how big it is like I'm a Lego person myself and trust me dropping a huge set kills me
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR A SPEED BUILD
I love Lego so much that ima cry 😭
TD Bricks beats your record man
I built the titanic 2 and I agree. It was hard.
did he just stood there for 14 hours straight......
Lego fans are growing, I love them
Somebody just broke your world record
Do star destroy next
Mike Wimmer: "Hold my ginger beer."
Bon Maxime et Thomas, vous avez de la concurrence
That is a very beautiful model. 🙌🏾👍🏾
TD bricks beat this time he beat him, and he beat the world record
I have the millennium Falcon but it is the old one but it took us months to make it cuz we got frustrated with it
in 10 years i bet there will be a record for building the lego titanic while juggling (and solving) 2 rubiks cubes at the same time
Nice Vid
dude to put 2 blocks together it takes me 2minutes
To be honest I don’t think Lego building should be part of world records. Cause it takes the fun out of it plus it’ll feel like you have to rush to beat someone’s record. This can cause so many misplaced pieces and left behind pieces
Damn might aswell build the entire universe
Facts to bricks did it faster he build it in 11 hours and 55 minutes
This records are so random. i think he won this one because nobody else ever tried.
True lol 😆
It's amazing that he finished this in 14 hours, but i think the timer should start once you open the box... the way all the pieces were perfectly separated on the trays makes things so much easier... that was a marathon build for sure, though 👏 👏
Omg, I know him! So cool he has another Guinness World Record in Lego
The instructions book would have to be 2 or 3 times bigger than the dictionary
I thought doing it slowly would be fun, but it costs USD1000 :(
Hi
Wow! Can you display it in Legoland?
i timed mine semi accurately, just marking down when i started, took breaks, finished each section etc. and got 14 hours 22 minutes done over 4 days
He stood for 14h!!! 😱
Wait, they didn't also include the time it took to sort the pieces? Wth that's easily another 1 to 2 hours. Time it right, this record is a lie
I would say another 3-6 hours for sorting without help. I would have expected the timer to start when he opened the box. However, Lego always includes extra pieces. Therefore the initial sorting may be a required step to verify that no piece was left out because you'd be able to set aside the extras.
No one sorts prices for
@@general_fears No one sorts pieces for what? For that long? At all. I don't know about others but easily 70% of my build time is sorting pieces. Once a bag is sorted, I fly through the instructions for that bag.
@@CCHAWC717 I mean nobody sorts prices by colour unless they have OCD
Building this set now and im not even close to this record. Im not timing and just enjoying to build it. Better to use 40 hours than 30 hours in my mind. Then i have 10 more hours of pleasure to build it.
Hello
Omg what a timing I just finished a Fiat 500 lego set
very nice guinness world records
Legend.
Absolute bloody legend.
This needs to be rephrased as fastest build time AFTER sorting all the pieces before starting the building.
Yay I’ve been waiting for this! 😃
I came so close to beating this record without knowing about it lol 14 hours and 40 minutes.... Awesome job though, I truly enjoyed the build and it looks like you did as well
A lot of Lego bigger building sets will have spare parts. I have a few sets and each one I assembled had some to little spare parts including Titanic.
Even the small Speed Champion cars have spare parts.

I really want to get the titanic set but it’s hella expensive I’m pretty sure it’s the biggest set right now

I want to make world record in miniature art but I don't know how can I apply for this .

I wish the set was in the movie.
nice ❤️🙂
Were you obliged to use the printed instruction books? Could you not have used digital manuals on a tablet? Massive space saver!
Wow!
Waiting for his Eiffel Tower attempt
